I found this article to be interesting: http://www.wrestlezone.com/column.php?ar ticleid=224311985

I'm going to have to try and remember that ECW will be starting at 9 next week. Is this a permanent time move or just for that week?

Its a permanent change. After watching ECW, I have to say it again. I CAN'T STAND RICKY ORTIZ! I don't know what it is, but the guys just annoys me.

Last Monday was a perfect example of why I just can't watch Raw anymore.

Seriously, they make it like it's impossible for anything good to happen. I'm glad Evan Bourne is on Raw now, but Kane is acting like a total dick. Why the hell are they making another Mysterio vs. Kane match? Why can't Kane just go back to ECW and fail?

Other than that, I'm pretty excited for No Mercy. The main events couldn't be better. I think Jeff will win the title, but sadly HBK won't.

Well i think hbk will win, due to really low ratings and the need a major shake up. Winning the gold will draw alot of viewers due to his immence popularity.

Sadly, I'm gonna have to go out on a limb agree with this statement.

Sure, Kane's been with WWE for a LONG time, and they probably feel they owe it to him to make him a big-name figure, but with his current gimmick? I mean come on... Honestly, how many people were creaming their pants over the possibility that he was carrying his old mask around in his bag? This Jacob Goodnight "I-enjoy-masturbating-everytime-someone-
gets-thrown-around-the-ring" shit is just old. Give him a big-name-worthy gimmick or let him fade into the shadows, where he loves to be so much.

He's not terribly good in the ring, but ya know, he's trying. ECW is a good place for him because if he's going to turn it around, that's going to be the place he does it, just ask Miz.

I know Ortiz is trying, he just comes across as too much of a goofball for my liking.

With that said, screw WWE (At least at this moment), I'm going to watch ROH's newest PPV... WHICH EVERYONE SHOULD ORDER, BECAUSE ITS PROBABLY GOING TO BE BETTER THAN ANYTHING THAT TNA OR WWE PUTS OUT (At least from an in-ring standpoint)!

Speaking of which, I missed out on the last PPV... what were yer guys thoughts/opinions of it?

Im just super geeked that one of my all time favs (Y2 fuckin J, baby!) got the strap again. Id love to see a nice long old school well written Jericho/CM Punk rivalry. Thatd be amazing. 2 charismatic guys who are awesome in-ring just feudin for a few months, then maybe as the gimmick they join forces during one of their matches.

I know Punk said in a radio interview or something once that Miz is perfect as a heel because in real life he's a pretty annoying dude and he knows it, he knows he comes off as very very unlikeable, so it's a good fit for him. Maybe that's what it is for you.

It HAS to be. Whatever hes doing, hes doing it SO WELL. I hope the Miz sticks around for a while... because just like JBL, hes one of those guys that I legit HATE HATE HATE. God hes a fucking GENIUS as a heel. Hes a friggin heat VACCUM. Just like no matter what Santino does, he comes off likable and funny to me, Miz is the opposite of that.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2008-09-26 08:29:21

Miz is one of those guys who are good at being hated. He's a pretty good worker too, and I expect that he'll be a big part fo the mid-card for a good while.

I'm looking forward to SD to see What Jeff and HHH do about their common enemy. Also I want to see MVP win a match. Is it me or has he been on a major losing streak?

Its not you. MVP hasn't won a match in forever. Its a damn shame, the dude is great on the mic and in the ring, and it seems that everyone can see it, except the higher-ups in WWE.

Speaking of SD, another match has been added to the SD debut on MyNetwork TV. It will be Finlay, Batista, Rey Mysterio and Jeff Hardy vs JBL, Kane, MVP and THE Brian Kendrick. Of course, I don't get the network, so I'll have to download the show.

That looks like a solid solid set. In the UK a fourth disc featuring the tribute shows will be released, and like the PWInsider guys, I have to think a US retailer will do it too (my money is on either FYI or Wal-Mart)

Does this mean that we're going to see Vickie in a wheelchair for the next 4 months?

I have to say this. Congratulations to both Carlito and Primo on winning the tag titles. I know the belts mean pretty NOTHING, but its cool to see two guys that I watched wrestle in front of 100 people, all of a sudden being the tag team champions in WWE.

I'm surprised they took the titles off the Edgeheads this abruptly, but I guess their push ran out just as they split off from Edge.
Hopefully they'll do something with Primo and Carlito that involves Carlito cheating behind Primo's back.

Yeah so did I.

I'm glad Carlito and Primo got the tag belts. Hopefully they will be booked as strong champions. Trouble is there aren't too many tag teams on SD so the competition will need to step up.

I like how they are making HHH and Jeff have mutual respect for each other. It's a nice change up from the norm where the #1 contender and the champion hate each other and do whatever they can to mess the other up.

Carlito has complained for quite some time that he is not getting pushed. Yea, the tag team championship belts are not major titles in any sense, but at least Carlito is a champion again. I hope that the creative will finally start pushing him towards the right direction.

Right now there's two other "major" teams on SD! that they can feud with, Edgeheads, and Jesse and Festus. That gives you some options long as the matches are good, I mean WWE had one of the best tag divisions in history a few years ago basically by feuding three teams against each other ad nauseum (Hardyz, E & C, Dudleyz). Then again (Benoit & Angle, Los Guerrero's, Edge and Mysterio). Three teams seems about right because in the end, tag teams will never really be a priority, it's always gonna be about the singles and the big belt. But there's no reason tag matches can't be a great drawing undercard attraction for them.

Not to mention, Miz and Morrison (if they aren't split up, can be working RAW or SD!. Sure seems to me if they aren't going to be split, they really should be moved from ECW so that they have a set of tag belts to go after.

It is a shame that the tag division has gone down so much. Maybe they could team Yang up with someone again since he doesn't really have anything to do. Ever since they got rid of the cruiser belt he and a few others have been left with nothing.

I saw an ad for Raw coming to Atlanta and it also said that ECW would be with it. I'm guessing ECW moving over to the Raw scheduel is still going to happen.

I might go to that show. Tickets go on sale sometime in October, I just need to find some people to go with.

Speaking of Raw, I'm looking forward to see what Jericho has going. He is very compelling to watch. It will also be interesting to see where the Punk/Orton fued will be handled since Orton is still not able to wrestle yet.

Oh yeah and the Honk-o-Meter.

Raw was pretty good last night. I really enjoyed that 8 man tag match and the main event was good too. Man, Santino is the worst IC champion ever. Yeah I knw he's being used as a comedy act, but still...

Hass on the other hand was too damn funny tonight! I have to admit I was lauging quite a bit during his segment and this is like the second time I thought Khali was somewhat ok. The first time was when he wanted to do the opening with DX.

I'm glad they are at least trying to use Noble. But it seems to be that Burchill's days of winning are over. I wouldn't be suprised if he, Katie Lee, Deuce and Palumbo were released.

I enjoyed the 6 man tag match last night. I'm hope Hardy has a lengthy title run. I'd like to see him hold onto that belt at least another month.

Dreamer can't seem to catch a break. I guess he's going to fued with that Swagger guy in an attempt to get him over. I'm still not sure about Swagger but we'll see where they go with him.

Based on what? Honky Donky Man sure sucked, and the only reason he had as long a run as he did is because they couldn't ever get the jerk to agree to lay down for anybody (probably cause he figured once they got the belt off of him he'd be let go). Most of the last few champions have been very good to great workers, but I think were rotten champions because they never defended the belt, or were shown to treat it as a priority or something that mattered to them. Santino is an ok worker, a phenomenal character, and he actually CARES about being IC Champion. I mean, when was the last time somebody said "I want to be the greatest Intercontinental Champion ever"? When? Cause I think you have to at least go back to the Attitude era to find somebody who actually had winning that title as a goal.

In short, I disagree, I think Santino is going to be a pretty good champion. Not because of his work or anything, but I think he is making the belt more important with what he's doing with it, and THAT is the mark of a good champion. You elevate yourself AND the title.

True that he is making a bid deal about being IC champ and that a very good thing. I'm talking mor ein the fact that he's a weak champion in terms of how he gets his victories. I'm not saying I don't like his performance, thats one of the better things going on Raw.
