Maybe Kane is talking about Vince. Kane could have been the one who rigged everything to go wrong and cause Vince to get hurt, but is frustrated by not knowing what happened since they won't release any info.

Once I wrestled my balls... It didn't turn out too well.
RAW was good last night, the opening segment in paticular was brilliant. Mysterio's match was dull. I guess I was expecting something big from his return. Shame really :( Punks match was booked perfectly, as others have already said, Snitsky did what he does but Punk won decisevely. The limo segment was great as well, a comical promo that was reminiscant of something from the attitute era. Same with the Batista imitator. Hats off to WWE for trying something new and doing it fucking well!
A Punk/Batista fued with Batista turning heel after he fails to beat Punk would be great. And really show people that Punk is a worthy champion. The Kane segment was a little strange, the fans went wild when he grabbed Cole. Not the reaction they were planning for I don't think. Still, will be interesting to see just what it is Kane's going on about. Vince or Undertaker seem to be the logical choices.
Dear, Chris Harris/Braden Walker. STEP AWAY FROM THE BUFFET LINE, please!
I'll say it before and I'll say it again. Evan Bourne's SSP is a thing of beauty. And when the hell is Colt Cabana debuting?

I have been hearing he's been chunking up. To me, it's amazing that a guy gets the biggest oppurtunity of his life, so what does he do? Chunks the hell up.

God I hope soon. With all the talent they've been calling up lately, it's insane to me that Cabana hasn't been brought up...and paired up with Punk...then Ace Steel rehired...brought up...and paired with Punk and Cabana.
What? I want the Saints goddamn it!!!

At least he's on TV again.

I agree, that SSP he does is just jaw dropping in how damn good it looks. That move is also one of my all time favorite high flyer moves so its really great to see in in WWE again. I thought they banned that move?
I don't know much about Colt.. Never seen him work so I am in the dark on this one.
ECW was good last night. Good opening bout, new talent debut, and some good wrestling throughout. Do we really need Tony Atlas, and a heel at that? I guess we'll have to see what developes from this.

Apparently, Vince needs to OK the move before using it. Since its difficult for Bourne to botch it the move (What with the insane height and all) they let him use it.

He's good (Not great) in the ring. The thing is the guy is incredibly funny and charismatic. Simply put, the dude's a character. I'd like to see him hook up with his old running mate (Punk), but I doubt we'll see that now.

I know its a longshot.. But I'd like to see a new Nation of Domination. Hell, bring up Killings and you already have a couple of guys in the stable.
I miss the Attitude days with The Rock, Stone Cold, masked Kane, old school Undertaker, old school DX back when it had Triple H, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, X-Pac, Chyna... that shit was awesome.
"It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything."
CM Punk vs. Batista...not bad. I'd be surprised if CM Punk was able to pick up Batista and GTS him, but I still think he's going to win. Just not like that.
And what the fuck was up with Kane? I guess it was the time where the poor bald had his anger issues come back. But he kept saying "IS HE ALIVE OR DEAD" to Cole. I didn't get it as much as he did. That was awesome of King to help out his broadcast partner, I'm glad those guys get along.
Also, who is hyped up for this new Paul Burchill/Kofi Kingston rivalry? I know for sure I am.
Watched the Bourne match and the new guy match on ECW. The crowd were far to dead for my liking. Not gonna bother with the rest of the matches, but I've read the spoilers. Bourne's match was decent, I definatley like this guy. I'm hoping he's gonna follow in the footsteps of Kofi or CM Punk. Start of on ECW, build momentum, then make a name for himself on a show that actually matters. The other guy needs a decent opponent to work with before first and foremost before anyone can comment on him.

Definatley. I feel they could have a lengthy fued without it becoming boring. Both are great wrestlers.
Sorry for double post.

ECW is a developmental, it's HEAT with a title belt.
The crowds pay to see SD! and they get an ECW taping as part of the deal. It's a show completely based around how good the matches are, because storylines are practically non-existent. My point is what the hell do you want? When you book something as being basically unimportant, and as something where it's value is going to be in making stars for RAW and SD! to exploit later.

meh. Don't really care.
I just bought tickets for a televised ECW/SD show on August 5th! It's been a long time since I went to a live show so I'm really looking forward to it.

On July 25, I'll be attending Ring Of Honor's debut event in Toronto. My mom just recently ordered the tickets and we'll be getting them in the mail in several days. I can't wait to go to the event!

I only care because it means she's off my tv. Shame about her kid, and I wish her luck with that. Talentless bimbo who was definitely having the clock run out on her (especially after that Escort scandal) but I ain't gonna trash a sick kid in the process. So good luck, hope your daughter gets better, and stay the fuck out of wrestling honey.
At wwe.com there is a vote going for favorite IC title matches. They are doing this to helop them decide what to include on a new DVD they are making, which is a history of the IC title. It has some good matches to choose from so I'd check it out.

I'm gonna assume there aren't any Benoit options. Tis a shame because he had some great matches as IC champion.
The World Wrestling Entertainment website has just announced that John Cena will be facing JBL in a NYC Parking Lot Brawl match at the Great American Bash on July 20. Below is the updated card:
WWE Championship Match
Triple H (c) vs. Edge
World Championship Match
CM Punk (c) vs. Batista
NYC Parking Lot Brawl Match
John Cena vs. JBL
Here's some scary cause and effect type stuff to me:
Ric Flair's financial company closes, Ric Flair is announced to appear at the SD!?ECW taping in Charlotte...oh Ric, please don't get back in the ring buddy, I love you, but don't get back in the ring!!!

Right. No mention or selection for Benoit. I think WWE is still very hesitant to mentaion him yet. I think in a few more years they may but for now it's still too soon. I agree that its a shame but I can also see where WWE is coming from.

WWE has once again reshuffled the card for the upcoming MSG show on 8/23 and there are some pretty big changes that were made.
The most notable change is that CM Punk and John Cena switched opponents. Punk will now defend the World Heavyweight title against JBL and John Cena will fight Batista in what's being billed as a "Special Challenge" match. This is a major showdown between two top WWE stars who have been kept seperate for years.
Here's the updated card
World Heavyweight Championship Match
CM Punk vs. JBL
Raw Special Challenge Match
John Cena vs. Batista
Steel Cage Match
Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels
Intercontinental Championship Match
Kofi Kingston vs. Kane
World Tag Team Championship Match
Cryme Tyme vs. Ted DiBiase/Cody Rhodes
Thats very strange. I wonder why the changed the main event like that. Maybe they didn't think the fans were ready for a Batista/Punk match.
I find it interesting that Kane is all of a sudden in the mix for the IC title. I guess we'll find out more tonight on SD and later on at Raw.

I wonder if perhaps they aren't planning Batista and Punk as a one off then, and then Punk and JBL for SS or something. Or maybe they just don't have opponents worked out that far in advance.
As far as Benoit...let me put it to you like this, answer these two questions:
1. Would you buy a best of OJ Simpson in football DVD?
2. Would you feel the fact that somebody compiled, created, and then marketed such a DVD to be in horrible taste and exploiting the sensationalized nature of OJ's alleged crimes?
If you answered no to 1, and yes to 2, congratulations! You've just proven why WWE stays away from putting any and all Benoit footage onto "best of" type compilations. There is no "alleged" when it comes to Benoit, he murdered his wife and child, he is in the eyes of the public and most fans the worst scumbag in the history of the business now, and one of the worst human beings to have walked the earth. Whether it's justified or not is irrelevant, the perception is the perception. I don't blame WWE one little bit for taking the tact of if they can avoid using his image or his work, they will. It's just smart business because they don't need the perception that they're marketing Benoit to exploit the sensationalism of the crime staining them. Especially with the ratings starting to go up, and important television deals coming into place.

Hate to break it to you, but they got back together just an hour ago. Sorry...

Chris Benoit is scum and I sincerely hope if there's a hell that son of a bitch is suffering in it as we speak.

I wasn't making a case to say you never should. Personally? Yeah, I don't really want to see his work again, have no desire to because what he did totally overshadows that for me. I feel bad for his family, I feel bad for his friends, I feel bad for the people who were hurt by that. But I won't shit on people who want to remember him in a positive light, that's a personal choice.
My point was simply to say that if you said no to the first question I asked, and yes to the second, you understand why WWE won't promote him and why they never really can. The perception of him is too negative, I believe within the business his work can be something people can aspire to, but to promote it or try to make money from it to the general public? No, no way, absolutely not.
