He deserves at least that.

Despite what others think, I still prefer TNA's storylines 2-1 over WWE Creative's. I like the whole Abyss / Father James Mitchell thing, and even the whole thing with A.J. Styles isn't THAT bad (please just follow in Tomko's footsteps & say 'no' to BOTH of them). And, well, Awesome Kong / Gail Kim is rather self-explanatory - you just don't see that sort of ass-kicking in the WWE Women's Division.

I really wouldn't mind him if he wasn't pushed so hard. I hate anyone who is the champ for too long. I start to lose interest in the show because it always ends the same way.

Quite frankly,he says the same thing over and over as wekk whixh makes him boring to watch. Every time, he comes out, says "the champ is here!", thanks the fans and taalks like a kid. Unfortunately, I do not find any of any promo entertaining because he says the same hing over and over. Personally, I do not mind long reigns, but Cena just does not have the mac skills to keep the fans entertained for many months.

Like I said, Cena isn't my cup of tea. But the guy IS making them money, if he wasn't, he wouldn't be on top. I'm not saying like him, I'm just saying don't trash the guy so hard, or at least give him credit for trying when you trash him. He's not a Khali level slug.

Most popular wrestlers have catchphrases. Cena can get quite repetitive, but if he did more of those raps like he used to do, he could be less stale.
What I don't like is how babyface he is. Surely a tweener role would work much better for someone who raps and wears chains. And it would be more interesting than the generic babyface he is now.

Agreed 100%. Cena got over same way Austin did, he was somebody booked pretty purely as a heel that the fans took a shine to and he got over. Austin never truly turned baby during his top run, truth be told he never really quite has. Cena is booked way too white meat, in that Hogan role I think, which is what Vince likes and understands. But while people will give Hogan pops for it out of respect and nostalgia, it dosen't work as well on a newer guy. Cena should definitely be either a tweener or more of a thug then he is. That is definitely something where I think WWE dropped the ball.

Just finished watching the Best of 2007 SD, and the only choice I disagreed on was the #2 match being the recent SS match; HHH vs. Orton or Cena vs. Michaels would've fit better (esp Cena vs. Michaels because not did it last for over an hour, but MICHAELS won).

I thought this was interesting:

Source: Wrestling Observer

- WWE is set to put a "Sting" in the tail of its closest rivals TNA, as their 2008 list of DVD releases will feature a "best of Sting" like compilation despite the legendary wrestler being with TNA, and never actually setting foot in a WWE ring.

As wrestling fans know, WWE owns the rights to the WCW library and thus to much of Sting's career footage.

This couldn't come at a worse time, as Sting's future with TNA is still uncertain and if WWE could coax him over with a DVD release TNA would be without its icon. It would be interesting to know if Sting could legally take part in his WWE DVD, whilst still being with TNA, or if he'd even want to.

If Sting signs his new contract he'd be with TNA until the end of 2008. The DVD is listed to be released in December 2008. Ironic?

- Other confirmed 2008 DVD releases include one of Randy Savage, Steve Austin and Mr. Perfect. Here is the complete dated list:

2/12: The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin
3/25: Triple H: The King of Kings
5/6: Evolution of the Hardys
6/3: The Rock
7/8: Best of Starrcade
8/5: 20-disc SummerSlam Anthology
8/5: Life and Times of Mr. Perfect
11/4: Edge
11/18: Randy Save: Macho Madness
12/9: Sting

Out of those listed, which interests you?

I think the Hardy DVD should be good too, considering how many great matches they've had (though a few of the best would also belong on the Edge DVD).

Definitely The Evolution of The Hardys. They have a book out, but that was published a loooong time ago, and so much has happened to both of them since then. Also it would be great to have all of their highlights on one disc.

This is the closest thing I've yet seen to WWE admitting that TNA is a threat to them. Wow, Vince could actually proverbially kick Jeff Jarrett in the balls with this, which would be the FIRST time that I can recall that happening.

Um, no disrespect to Sting, but he is NOT TNA's marquee guy. He hasn't been in the better part of a year, he does not draw huge for them, and the company is not built around him. I think it'd be a bigger deal if WWE tried to get Angle back, cause Angle IS the top guy in TNA.

The WWE is milking on HHH to end Ric Flair's career. WHY NOT giving the job to Edge, he is the most hated heel in the decade!!!

I'd would get that Hardy DVD for sure.

It would be kinda cool to see Sting in WWE, even if it was for a little while. Thing is he can't make any money off of that DVD becuase of WWE owning the rights to the footage, but if he came in to the company and cut a deal he could get some of that profit. TNA can't make a DVD quite like that so it may be worth it for him to go elsewhere. Or he may not even care about the money and stay where he is.

I agree that HHH shouldn't be the guy to retire Flair. He is established enough, let someone else who could use the heat do it.

I like the angle Red laid out. I don't think they'll do it though because it probably would fuck with the Taker/Edge bout since it looks like they'll use the Rumble to set up the SD! main event. If I was WWE though, I'd change that up to Flair being entered, needing to win. Doing what Red said basically, then flipping the belt from Orton to Jeff Hardy. Then at Mania, Hardy beats Flair, and Flair gets the ability to say he lost to the champ and a top guy, and Hardy gets the rub of beating Flair to solidify his tippity top guy status. Orton is pretty much a bust, use this story to benefit Flair and Hardy, then turn the EC match into the way they determine the SD! champion.

It isn't much, but it is better than nothing.

Also, I doubt Triple H will retire Ric. When Ric does lose, it isn't going to be on Raw, it will be on a PPV. Only way to do a proper to send off.

Not saying there isn't a chance they will, but I'd be rather shocked at it.

Personally, I see WWE making Orton ending Ric's career, which will cause Orton's ego trip to be even more unbearable. HHH will get all angry because Orton took out his friend's career. HHH will then fight orton and get the title, and poor Jeff will get lost in the middle of it all =/

Not saying this is what I want to happen, just what I'm expecting WWE to make happen.

I like the Jeff storyline you guys are making, but it probably won't happen that way. Still you never know.

Who do you think will be the next IC champ? Jeff is bound to lose his title before he gets to the Rumble. Orton could come out and RKO him during a title defense and cost him the title so that ensures their fued.

I think I'd like Santino to get it. HEAR ME OUT!!! HEAR ME OUT GUYS!!! The Santino-Carlito team is going to be better for comedy then they are for wrestling. What if they do it as Santino gets an IC title shot, and manages to upset Hardy because of Carlito's interference? Then you can have this whole thing where Santino is just being unbearably snotty and acting like he won it all alone. Then you have Maria trying to calm Carlito down and be his friend and be like "He really deep down appreciates what you did, he just has a hard time showing it" then Santino just continues to blow it. Eventually they feud over the title, but since I think Carlito is a bit of a lukewarm face I think you either see what he can do with it, or you just make it a situation where they're both heels, but you try to make Santino come off as the more wretched and despicable one, so the fans can still hate Carlito, but they'll root for him over Santino. Tricky stuff...which is why this creative crew will never think it up or execute it.
