For all those who care, Booker T is going to make his TNA debut tonight. Based on the tradition which TNA picks up released former WWE superstars, I will not be surprised if Masters land there as well.

A fight broke out backstage last night in Wichita, Kansas after SmackDown! was taped. After the show was over, JBL gathered a number of WWE superstars together, including John Morrison, The Miz, MVP, CM Punk, and Matt Hardy.

JBL berated Miz and Morrison for their color commentary work on ECW. JBL was furious that the two made Punk look bad with their commentary. They were heels and were supposed to criticize Punk in a heel way, but JBL felt they went too far with it. JBL then yelled at them for their ring work during their match with MVP & Matt Hardy. JBL told Miz & Morrizon to apologize to Punk, MVP & Hardy for making all 3 of them look bad.

The Miz apologized, but Morrison told JBL "F*ck you, it's none of your business". He then said he would apologize to Punk, Hardy & MVP, but not because JBL told him to.

The confrontation went back and forth until Morrison shoved JBL. Several agents broke up the dispute before it got further than a shove.

How would you say their commentary actually was? Did they deserve what JBL was talking about?

Wow, I never thought I'd ever respect JBL for something. o_O Maybe he doesn't actually suck in real life.

It's to be expected. I'm curious whether he'll not say a whole lot (like Rikishi/Fatu) or if he'll pull a Rhyno & say 'FUCK YOU, VINCE!'. Honestly, for what he went through gimmick-wise, I'd rather see him pick the latter.

Fuck I never thought I'd say this but: JBL was completely right here. At least as far as the commentary situation, I didn't see the work in the friday match to comment on his rightness or wrongness there. But he is right if those two were ignoring and/or trashing Punk on commentary as a non-issue that not only was that highly disrespectful to Punk, but it's also extremely stupid on their part because if you are not acting like your opponent is a challenge, then you will look like a jabron if he beats you, and if you beat him? Well, you beat a piece of shit, so what did you really accomplish there? You don't do that crap. JBL was right to point that out to them and Miz acted correctly by listening, understanding the point, and thanking JBL for the advice. Morrison acted a fool, and he had NO RIGHT to put his hands on JBL, even if you agree with the idea that it ain't JBL's business (and I'm gonna disagree because as long as JBL is drawing a paycheck, and these two guys are anywhere near a show he works on and can help or harm the drawing power of that show, that is JBL's mother fucking business what they do or don't do right or wrong). Morrison should not have touched him, and should not have been so disrespectful, he should have taken the criticism, and moved on from it, not turned it into something where he's trying to act like he knows better. Not to mention this kid is probably going to find his oppurtunities really curbed now because JBL is pretty beloved by upper management, and I think Morrison might find his buddy Lagana not pushing for him so much anymore.

Ok good to know whats going on. Since I had missed the show I had no perspective on what JBL was pissed about. I'm gld this isn't a case of him being a bully like he has done in the past.

Should Morrison and Miz get punished? At least Miz apologized and saw right away he was in the wrong. But Morrison didn't seem too fazed to me.

I noticed always when I watche every WWE show, there is that techy screen always poped up that looks like Y2J's entrance with techy themes, is could there a possibility of Y2J's comeback in the ring?

Miz shouldn't. He apologized for what he did and moved. Morrison apparently apologized afterwards, but he also put his hands on JBL, and I'm pretty sure that even as an announcer, JBL is higher on the food chain than Morrison. To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me to see him take the fall at Survivor Series.

Khali is the giant guy everyone loves to hate!!!!!! Right now he's the biggest "giant" they have. He gonna stay for a while unless they find someone better.

I think when Jericho makes his return, he should return with a mask to make it even more of a mystery of who exactly is returning... but then again... he's on the cover of the WWE magazine... so secret is out... and if you go to wwe.com and scroll all the way down to the bottom and click "next_monday" a pop up window will pop up and you will see the words "Break_The_Walls" so i'm quite sure Jericho is making a return on Monday night Raw.

Vince is trying to balance the power between SD! and ECW by giving the tag titles away so that people will quit the "TNA" chats during the ECW show which has always been the C show for its lack of top talent. Plus, by having Matt and MVP dropping the titles, we can see them feuding for the U.S title again which is great.

Agreed, the only reason why Miz is even in the ME is because Vince wants Punk to retain and the Miz will be the easy target.

Since I've taken a shine to TNA better than Vince, I'll start doing a TNA segment:

Assi9's TNA Yadda-Yadda-Yadda

*looks at Vince*

NOW

CAN

YOU

DIG

THAT

S U C K A A A A A A A A A A !!!!?

The TNA fans knew what Vince & Creative put Booker T through these last few years, and they all welcomed him with wide open arms. I don't think I've seen an actually sincere, non-scripted smile on his face for quite a while, but we could clearly see that he's happy to be there. And once again, we were also all reminded of what happens to people who talk trash about his wife. :P All we were missing was the Spin-A-Roonie, and it would've been perfect.

Ms. Brooks finally exploded on her douchebag boss, and also finally pwned that damn bitch in the audience (we all know that she has to be an actual female wrestler). It was great.

We also saw Gail Kim explode on Khali's female counterpart :P , but she didn't last that long. >_<

We also saw Scott Hall again, pwning Kurt Angle alongside Nash, up until Kurt's new "Alliance" did what they're known for - sneak attacks. (Come to think of it, when Tomko was in the WWE, he was Kurt's lackey, IIRC.) Then they were painfully reminded that Samoa Joe still wants to mop the floor with them, setting up a promising match at..........damn, I already forgot the name of the next PPV. >_<

Before that, Kaz did very well against Kurt; this could mean tha he could get a push for the title in the future.

So the former "Bull" Is now 'killer' spelled backwards......a giant contrast in gimmicks. It works for him so far, though.

*Boogeyman flips him the bird*

I also noticed that Black Reign's Blackout seems to just be HHH's Pedigree.....

I cracked up at 3D's demands for Ding-Dongs & Yoo-Hoo. :P

".......chocolately goodness that made me feel oh so swell!"

All in all, it was a great night.

Tomko was Christian's lacky, not Kurt's.

I hope TNA can do Booker justice, but I expect to see him on the ME for the title real soon, as is the trend with former WWE guys.

Yea, pushing former WWE guys right to the ME level will make more WWE superstars who cannot find their positions (i.e: Carlito) jumping ships and boosting the TNA ratings.

Very true, but the downside is the the talent already at TNA get bumped down. Remember when AJ Styles was a ME level guy? It's getting harder and harder to isn't it?

Boosting former WWE guys to the ME level is the only way that TNA can survive. Not too many people will buy tickets and see AJ in the ME. Sure he can wrestle, but WWE/TNA is all about cash and you need to be famous.

The companies need to make new people famous. WWE still does, they don't coast on other people's work, but one day TNA will realise they have a bunch of old, overweight, washed-up wrestlers, whose only qualities were being recent WWE stars back in the day, and that they haven't pushed anyone new.

Absolutely, and TNA needs to immediately improve their product and stop being WWE lite. They have had a year in prime time and they haven't moved the ratings needle up at all. It's not a situation where they just have to sign the right guy, it's a situation where they have to offer a better product then WWE, and when their loyal fan base spreads the word and new fans sample it, they stick around. There's no excuses in my mind anymore for why anybody is not doing better ratings and seeing growth other then stubborn obstinence and sticking with ideas, directions, and characters, that just don't interest people.

The thing about the traditional SS match is that nearly everyone on HHH's team is banged up. Matt got his knee destroyed by MVP, Rey beaten to a pulp by Finley, and Jeff took a nasty spill from Kennedy. So they will be playing up these injuries to give the heels an advantage going in. I just don't want it to turn out to be HHH winning it by himself, but I do think his team will win.

As far as TNA goes, My opinion on it is this: They really need to do something to bring themselves up to WWF's level. They have a lot of EXCELLENT talent, not only home grown, but a lot of disgruntled/former WWF guys who really know how to work in the ring.
Im all for TNA because I think (More like HOPE TO GOD) that they will be in time the alternative to WWF. Maybe even go head to head with Raw on monday nights, if the TNA booking gets better and the WWF booking stays as pathetic and shitty as it has been for the past year or two. When theres competition, the business gets so much better, case in point, it was OBVIOUS even to the greenest mark that WWF's booking got lazy and started goin downhill the moment WCW's heart stopped beating.
I pray that TNA gets bigger than they are and that they have a ratings battle, cus then we as fans will win. The booking will be cutthroat and they will go to amazing places to put on an awesome show, like they did in the late 90s.
IDK tho. Thats just me, but I honestly think that the ratings war was when both shows were at their fuckinjg PEAK. I still watch WWF, but Im rooting for TNA to get bigger and better.

The World's Strongest Man became The World's Strongest Bitch last night. :P Worse than the last time it happened. Case in point: The Animal + Hell in a Cell Match coming up = one crazy muthafucka'.

Yup, Miz & Morrison have the Tag titles - and MVP no longer has a cover. So what does he do? Of course - he tries to end his competition's career before they can even have a match. What do you bet that Jeff goes apeshit on MVP during the SS match?

Those were basically the two highpoints of the night, really.
