I think Londrick vs. The Hardyz could make for a pretty interesting and hot series. I have to say, RAW has been pretty enjoyable so far, yes they're mentioning Vince hard, but we're getting some decent matches and storyline advancement so far too.

My only problem has been the commercial breaks, the matches and segments haven't been that long, and we've already seen a ton of commercials. It doesn't help that RAW is now stacked with talent and they're trying to get everyone in the show, something that will hurt the length of the matches.

And Sandman vs Carlito? I guess that would make for an interesting feud.

Raw has been ok, I'm glad they are pushing some decent storylines through. Some good matches as well.

It was good to see Mick in a Raw ring again, through it was far far too brief. It did get what it needed to get across though. I wonder when Estrada is coming back to tv?

I wouldn't be surprised if WWE never used him again. Not because I think he's untalented or anything, but just because they don't push managers.

Here's what you can expect to see on ECW tommorow night:

Scheduled for tomorrow's ECW on Sci Fi from Charlotte, NC will be Chris Benoit vs. Elijah Burke and CM Punk vs. Marcus Cor Von, with the winners advancing into a title bout to determine the new ECW champion at Vengeance. At one point, there was discussion of using all of the above in a Four-Way so we'll see where it goes.

Also scheduled is Boogeyman's sophomore ECW appearance plus more on the Mr. McMahon angle we all know and love.

I like the idea of the ECW title being settled one on one, and I know I said wait on the CM Punk Benoit feud, but the more I think about it, I say let those guys get the win here, fight it out for 20 minutes to a half hour, and build this up sort of like the Angle/Joe feud in TNA...only, ya know, don't blast through it and fuck it up. ECW has a real shot at becoming a solid wrestling show again, and I believe Punk and Benoit can carry it on top with a fierce competitive rivalry, and maybe Cor Von and Burke hovering around them trying to tip the scales there making that heated rivalry boil into all out hatred...

I still say Boogey should be paired up with Thorn and Vis and they should be used as an evil stable that terrorizes the mid-card en route to making a play for the world title. Now...I thought all this stuff up in the span of oh...five minutes for the title bout, and the Thorne, Boogey, Vis trifecta I brought up Sunday. What the hell is ECW creative's excuse if they don't pull the trigger on any of this, or come up with anything equally as good or compelling? Cause they're the guys getting PAID to be a supposedly better storyline writer then me right.

Also, I hope next week's three hour RAW is the END of this Mcmahon angle. It just gets more and more disgusting as it goes, with Steph fake crying and the fact that they kept showing Sherri Martel's picture...but then blathered on about a fake death...WWE is probably gonna disappoint with the finish here, so let's just get it done and over with now, and really? That's the only reason I can see for doing a three hour RAW next week. You blow the angle off while it's still fairly hot, give people a finish to this part of things and pray they stick around for the next chapter, whatever that may be. But boy do I feel bad for the folks working Vengeance as that PPV is really in trouble I think...if ALL the belts are on the line, and we got a Santino segment tonight...why the hell wasn't it naming his opponent? I mean...I GUESS they'll shoe horn Regal in there now...but wouldn't it have been easier to play that segment as was, then have Regal come back and nail Santino and be like "I hate Italians! See you Sunday you dinnermasher!!!"

I get the feeling that ECW and SD! are going to wind up being the one's to get all the praise here for at least TRYING to put SOME build into their title matches.

The thing is, Santino won't be facing William Regal at Vengeance, Santino faces Umaga. Either way, its a makeshift match. You could say they have some history because Marella beat Umaga for the IC title, but its still a match tacked on at the last minute.

Of course, Santino will probably win that match and destroy what little credibilityUmaga might have left/

Wow...that is fucked that I watched the show, and completely forgot that only minutes after that show ended...goddamn but this PPV is in some trouble like I said...

I agree that SD! lost some star power --- namely Benoit and Mr. Kennedy. But the arrival of Edge was a plus. However, the problem is that besides Batista, now SD! does not have another top face to challenge Edge with Taker being a part time worker. I have a bad feeling that Vince may put the title back on Batista again.

I don't like the whole mcmahon dying angle.... it's going to get annoying. It was better if mcmahon just left and never appeared on camera for awhile.
But other than that, I like what they did with the draft. Mr. Kennedy could be the next Steve Austin.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2007-06-19 09:28:29

I think Umaga is going to win the IC title back since Santino has been a flop champion.

They will probably keep the death angle going for a while. My guess is that the 3 hour raw will be based on looking for and finding the car bomber him/her self. So expect this stuff to drag on longer then we wanted.

I think they'll probably pin it on the Pyro guy that vince fired a while back on the Raw U.K tour. It'd be perfect too, he had every reason to do that and it's a really sensible way to end it.

This is gonna be a good ECW tonight, I can tell. I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't dissapointed if Marquis Cor Van became champ. But I'd be estatic if Punk got the belt...

It should be two good matches to detemine the number 1 contender. Obviously, I'd like to see Benoit vs Punk at Vengeance, but I wouldn't mind seeing any of the 4 men winning the title.

Also... Damn, its been a long time since you posted here.

No matter what the finish will probably be lame, WWE is changing their mind almost constantly here. At first this was supposed to be the end of Vince on TV, now they're looking at this as being a rebirth for the character and a way to take him in a new direction and make the fans care again....I just think the minute he walks out on TV again people who actually cared and thought he really died or whatever will click off feeling used. Also it would seem next week's show (as of right now) won't be the end of the angle, it's planned to go until like July at least....but then again, Sherri's death is making them potentially rethink that, and if they can't continue to pop a rating here, they may just flush it really quick.

Konnan & Ron Killings just quit TNA.

Source: Wrestlingobserver.com

Before the TNA Impact tapings this evening, both Konnan and Ron Killings quit the promotion. Killings had been with the promotion since day one; he was a former two-time NWA Champion as well as multiple time tag team champion. Konnan had been with the promotion the majority of the 5-years and was also a multiple time tag team champion. They both plan to work full time for AAA in Mexico, where Konnan had been booking since the passing of Antonio Pena.

He's in ECW, and I love it! Now he's THE top superstar on ECW. He'll help the young guys improve a lot, and he'll always be a top contender for the ECW title.

In short, you'll have to adore someone else. I say, you'll adore Edge.. He's also Canadian.

I wonder if they would be able to work for WWE if they were offered a contract or tryout. Killings is still a popular guy so fan support would be good for that. Konnan may have a tougher time since he had been sick for a long time.

Angle went to TNA. I forgot how long ago. Cena and Batista aren't that great. They are both just really boring to watch. You should find a nice mid-carder to stick with.

Mr. Kennedy should make quite an impact on Raw.
I think smackdown went down the shitter after that draft... I would have prefered Kane at ECW. I can give two shits about the great kahli because he sucks at wrestling. Except smackdown now has Torrie Wilson... and Raw got stuck with that girl that can't sing. I'm glad Mickie James stayed on raw.... I sure love that girl.... she is so amazing. I'd bang her in a heart beat. haha anyway. I hope this McMahon Death angle dies soon because it can get really annoying if they really drag this out. How will they be able to show mcmahon on TV again if they just show him die??? I don't get that part. And what will everyone think of the guy who did it? I hope they don't point fingers at Sabu or Davari just cuz they are middle eastern looking type wrestlers. I hope if they point fingers at an individual.... I hope it's somebody who isn't on any of the current rosters. Somebody who is going to step into the WWE and make one hell of an impact. Someone who will beat up Lashley or Batista or Cena because those guys seem to be lacking.

I actually enjoyed ECW tonight once we got away from the Mccrap, I think everybody was used perfectly and I absolutely love the title match at Vengeance, because either way, the brand gets a champion to be proud of...the horrors of Lashley are over, and I can really see this brand becoming about solid wrestling and developing guys (which is the focus now, I've heard it's going to be treated like a high end developmental, which is smart). I think I could start getting into this show again.

Source: PWInsider.com

As reported earlier, both Ron Killings and Konnan have quit TNA.

Konnan has been unhappy with TNA for awhile now. He recently stated in an interview with Alex Marvez that he thought TNA would help him with the costs of his recent kidney transplant, but that they backed out of their word. Konnan was in Orlando yesterday for the TNA Impact taping but ended up leaving in the morning and flying himself back home. Konnan has not been released yet but LAX has already started to be de-emphasized despite being one of TNA's most over acts with the live crowd. Homicide and Hernandez apparently did not know Konnan quit until after arriving at the Impact taping. Homicide did cut promos backstage, so it appears that TNA may give him a chance at being the team's mouthpiece.

Konnan's long association with AAA may also have been a point of tension between he and TNA. AAA is now considering expanding into the U.S. and Konnan is a booker and part of AAA management. TNA was aware that if it came down to it, Konnan would likely stay with AAA over TNA. AAA's expansion plans may have also factored into Konnan finally deciding to walk out of TNA.

Ron Killings requested his release from TNA prior to the Slammiversary PPV and did not fly to Orlando yesterday for the Impact taping (nor was he booked). Killings has not been granted his release yet but has been unhappy with his character direction for awhile now.

Why Umaga? He is way above the IC title. I would suggest Carlito taking the title if you ask me.

I would have prefered Carlito for the IC title myself, but the match went to Umaga. Santino has a slim chance of keeping that belt, at least thats how it seems to me.

I think the cruiser match between Chavo and Jimmy is getting overlooked promotion wise. Course thats what we expect from WWE...

it certainly isnt the worst storyline, in fact pretty much the same thing has been done so many times before not as well..

kane's entire career.
the whole gay marriage storyline, my god that was horrible and oh so boring.
