I like looking at Kelly Kelly, and when she finally does a porno, I'll watch the movie. But I don't really see what a chick who's only attribute is looking good and being almost jailbait is doing for a show. I mean, I realize sex sells, hot chicks are a part of wrestling and I'm more then fine with that, but I think they should also be able to contribute something to the proceedings as well.

Look at women valets of the past like Moolah, Tammy "Sunny" Sytch, Francine, Beulah Mcguilicutty, Dawn Marie Bytch, Jacqueline. All good looking women in their time (and some of them are still good looking) who weren't just eye candy, but also helped their men get a win, and could cut a good promo, or work a decent match when you asked them to...for the most part.

Couple TNA release notes:

A-1, formerly of Team Canada, has been released from his TNA deal. Like the Diamonds in the Rough, he hadn't been used in some time by TNA.

Norman Smiley was also dropped from the TNA website's roster page this week, but I believe he'll still be used on a per appearance basis in an enhancement role down the line.

No real surprises here, TNA is a business, and if they don't have a use for someone they're wasting money by keeping them around.

I did. The WCW roster was made to look like rap, thanks in large part to the reason that the roster was indeed crap. I remember in the last WWE vs WCW/ECW match that both Angle and Austin were representing the Alliance (long live the alliance) even though Angle was never a part of ECW or WCW (and had his problems wth ECW) and Austin although he was in both companies he wasn't really a fan of WCW.

The fact is it should have been the single biggest angle in wrestling history but Vince somehow managed to screw that up... If you remember during the Invasion there was no Flair, no Sting. no Goldberg basically none of the of the big WCW stars were there which made the outcome pretty obvious.

The best thing about this smack down was seeing kane get thrown through the barricade by kali.

If donald trump thinks the fans want to see "VALUE" then why would he want Lashley to fight for him??? I'd like to see someone else fight instead... but you have to think about who could beat that Umaga.

you see how much they are hyping lashly, I personally dont think he is that great, but this match will be known by a lot of people that dont watch wrestling since it's getting big. What a better way to whore lashly

An evil dentist.. with bad teeth no less! It's a wonder the cartoon-like era of wwe didn't destroy people's interest in it. Course they did have Hulk Hogan to counter balance it a bit.

Didn't get to see SD yet, I have it on tape so I have to skip the reviews for right now.

I don't know if Rey would get used right on Raw. I'm not against them giving it a try down the road, but he needs to get re-established on SD first to make up for the horrible way he was booked as champion, and get back fan momentum.

eh... Kahli is way too slow... and he doesn't wrestle well. Sometimes he has late reactions...
It would be kind of strange to see Steve Austin as the guest referee... only reason why he's doing it is to promote his movie it seems.

I'd really like to see Donald Trump choose... CHRIS JERICHO!!! That would be so awesome. Jericho said he didn't want to be away from the ring for too long. And the guy can actually USE and TALK on the microphone.. unlike 85% of the WWE roster.

Not at that point they didn't. Hogan had migrated to WCW by then, along with whatever was left of the established WWE guys (cept Hart and Michaels) because Vince didn't see money in them anymore (a mistake that he managed to turn into an advantage). That era definitely was killing the interest in WWE and nearly bankrupted the company until they picked up guys like Austin and Foley and started allowing those two, among other talents, to have a greater role in how their characters would be booked and perceived. Also pushing the envelope and creating a "I've got to tune into RAW to see what crazy stunt they'll pull next!" mentality also helped.

Agreed with pep about The Alliance problems. The other problem was just the whole idea of basically everyone in the group kissing Austin's ass, or being treated as subordinate to Austin. Instead of developing their personas, most of them just wound up as faceless henchmen who were constantly sucking up to ol' Stone Cold, and nobody was allowed to be seen at his level (RVD anyway? How about the tease of Tazz going after him that never materialized really?). It just weakened everyone involved and some guys were never able to get back to a point where they could get over with the crowd, so they had to be released. It was just one of the great disaster's of wrestling.

I would be very happy if Jericho came back. I wonder why WWE hasn't made a best of Jericho DVD yet?

Donald Trump appeared on Imus in the Morning yesterday and stated his wrestler at Wrestlemania 23 was " a man named Lindsey." He also noted met a 7 foot tall man in Portland named Hindu at Raw. Thanks to everyone who sent that along. Lashley and Khali must be thrilled they made such a huge impression on the Donald.

Ladies and gentlemen, your ECW champion.... Bobby Lindsey!!!

Lol!! Thats priceless right there.

Rey Mysterio Jr. has been advised by doctors not to return the ring due to the excessive knee damage he has sustained. In terms of story line, WWE's web site put up a tidbit that he was re-injured by Umaga's vicious attack on Friday night, setting back his intended return.

damn that sucks.....

Andrew "Test" Martin was involved in a car crash in Tampa, Florida on Friday night when he lost control of his Corvette and hit a parked car. No one was injured and he passed a field sobriety test. As of yesterday, no charges have been filed.

.....wtf? Apparently Test can drive just as good as he can wrestle.

The current plan in TNA is to bring in Doug Basham and Damaja (formerly known as Danny Basham) as a new heel tag team to be managed by Christy Hemme to feud with the Voodoo Kin Mafia.

How mad do you think Vince is that Trump kind of "spoiled" their surprise of it being Lashley? And how much more angry do you think he is knowing there's not a damn thing he can really do about it?

The plan was always for Rey to return in the summer. It was just a good oppurtunity for them to bring him in in front of his home town, and put more heat on Umaga.

.....wtf? Apparently Test can drive just as good as he can wrestle.

Anyone starting to think that an announcement about WWE coming to terms on Test's release and wishing him well in the future is coming soon?

The current plan in TNA is to bring in Doug Basham and Damaja (formerly known as Danny Basham) as a new heel tag team to be managed by Christy Hemme to feud with the Voodoo Kin Mafia.

So basically...it's going to be sort of like when they debuted in WWE as the slaves of Shaniqua the dominatrix? Way to be original Russo!!!

I think he would advise you to use the PM system rather than a link here.

I have been slowly working my way through the Extreme Rules DVD, and so far it's pretty awesome.

Or you could use the PM system because we really frown upon the actual posting of nudity on the BBS, even with NSFW tags to it. I've always interpreted the NSFW tags as being for stuff that comes from like "somethingawful.com" or "rotten.com" something that dosen't neccessarily break the rules of the BBS per se, but if you're cruising it at work, it would definitely get you in trouble with the office content police or what not.

So like I said before, no porn, if people want it, they can ask you somewhere where I can't moderate it.
