You kow the situation with Carlito is actually a funny one. The WWE wants him to improve in the ring, so what do they do? They have him feud with Chris Masters, because obviously if you're wrestling Masters week in and week out you're bound to improve.

Yup, and Carlito can't play face? Really? Is that why the fans pop big for him every time they see him? WWE needs to pull their head out of their ass and realize they can't always predict or control who's going to get over.

Expect more releases, from the WWECW brand because they are NOT going back to WWECW only house shows after Mania like they thought they would. So more undercard WWECW talent that would have been used on those shows is now expendable, so they'll probably be given their walking papers soon enough.

Don't really care much for Tatanka. As for Bam Bam well tha's just a damn shame. Probably next to Vader (Whom he teamed up with at one time) one of the most athletic big men to step into a wrestling ring.

Most famous for his match with Lawrence Taylor at Wrestlemania XI (I think) and a great feud with Tazz in ECW which of course included the match where Bam Bam was in the Tazzmission and when both men feel the ring gave out and left a pretty big hole.

I believe he was also the one who threw Spike Dudley in to the crowd, which let to Spike being carried around by the ECW faithful... If I'm wrong feel free to correct me Avie.

Here are some of his achievements.. from Wikipedia

World Championship Wrestling
WCW Hardcore Champion (1 time)
WCW World Tag Team Champion (1 time) - with Diamond Dallas Page (1)

New Japan Pro Wrestling
NJPW-IWGP Tag Team Champion (1 time) - with Big Van Vader (1)

Extreme Championship Wrestling
ECW World Heavyweight Champion (1 time)
ECW World Television Champion (1 time)

Pro Wrestling Illustrated
PWI ranked him # 68 of the 500 best singles wrestlers of the PWI Years in 2003
PWI ranked him # 36 of the 100 best tag teams of the PWI Years in 2003 (with Big Van Vader)

As time passes I can't help but feel older, it seems every month someone I grew up watching in wrestling passes away... Hopefully I'll be a while before it happes again.

So Rest in Peace Bam Bam, you'll be missed.

That's a great obituary on the big man. You are right Pep, Bam Bam was the guy that threw Spike into the crowd for that infamous body suf. Bam Bam is definitely a legend for ECW, and was a great great big man wherever he went. I'm glad to see he got placed into the SD vs. RAW game this year BEFORE his death because for whatever kind of an "honor" that is, he got it on merit not on having passed.

From PWInsider:

WWE released Ohio Valley Wrestling developmental talents Seth Skyfire, Jack Bull, and Ryan Reeves today. All three had been featured regularly on Ohio Valley Wrestling TV.

Skyfire had been a long tenured performer in OVW, holding the OVW TV and Tag Team championship. He had feuded with CM Punk towards the end of Punk's OVW tenure.

Jack Bull, an Arizona native, signed a developmental deal last year and spent time in Deep South Wrestling. He was moved to OVW, where he was managed by developental Diva Sosay and did a "drunken redneck" type of gimmick. He had recently been feuding with Joey Mercury in OVW.

Ryan Reeves was a contestant in the Million Dollar Tough Enough competition who was later signed to a WWE developmental deal. He trained in DSW and was moved to OVW. He had most recently been put together as a tag team with Jon Bolen under the team name "High Dosage".

WWE is in full house clean mode right now, though I have only been hearing there would be more names today, so this may or may not be the end of them.

Damn, I had always liked Bam Bam. He was a true legend, one of the best big men in wrestling.

Lots of releases from wwe going on. Most of it from brand # 3 too. Knox was rumored to be on the list of people to be fired, but so far nothing yet.

SD was decent. I was almost positive Chavo was going to walk away with some gold tonight. Mercury and Nitro sure did a number on Matt. Think the Hardyz will get some retrobution at the rumble by eliminating Nitro? Hope they have a re-match at WM, that's a matchup worth seeing again. Throw in London and Kendrick and we can all be happy.

I've heard that's definitely something being talked about. I like the matches between the two, but I hate how simply because these guys are WWE guys they're automatically the best two teams of the last decade (the Hardyz were good, but MNM was only on TV together for a year if even). I guess that's what happens when you get out of WWE's synergy. I think we all know who my pick is for best team of the last decade.

I also really liked the old school psychology of Mercury wanting to break Hardy's face like his, but I still hate this whole thing of how RAW guys can just get into the SD! buildings and vice versa and run down the ramp with no one stopping them. I mean...maybe if you saw Nitro punching out plant security and hopping the rail like a fan I could believe it more. But running down the ramp like anyone else, and no one trying to stop the beating? That totally defies logic.

Since when did WWE use logic?

As for great tag teams. It's not like wwe can name drop teams that are still active with another company. It would sound weird if all of a sudden the announcers start reminding us that they swore up and down that the new age outlaws were the best team ever, or if they mentioned the Dudleyz. WWE has to promote what they have. As for me I was just stating that MNM and the Hardyz are amung the better teams they have.

Speking of teams... Those two Grease rejects.. where the hell did that come from? I hearn nothing about those guys, and they come out with a girl who can't skate.

They came from DSW. All I know is that one of the guys is the adopted son of Jimmy Snuka. Right now I don't care who they are, as long as it means that the tag-team division will get some more competition.

They didn't really do enough in the ring to really say how good they were, in my opinion. Although, one of them did seem quite good, he did a few martial arts style kicks I think, but the other guy didn't do much...
I think they're heels, but they seem more for comedy value really.

i think they will be a heel tag team thier style is 'power' thier names i only know one is (domino) others name i have no clue but as for thier act they are a tag team that uses the late 40-early 50's look and the girl that comes wiht them is wearing a skimpy outfit and roller blades like the sonci drive threw waitress do

Due to his new WWE Films project, "The Condemned" set for release in April, legendary WWE superstar "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will be making his highly anticipated return to WWE television shortly.

The current plan at this point is to integrate Austin back into some sort of regular storyline, as to get use out of him at WrestleMania 23, to co-promote with his movie project in April.

More details on this story as we receive them.

I think they are rushing the MNM Hardy match. They should have waited and let the fued get bigger, and to let Mercury heal to 100%.

I think Mercury is mostly healed up, and I like that now it's got a real "personal" sort of dimension to it because I really feel like there's only so many times you can have them going in there looking to just beat the Hardyz to prove their "better". I'd really like to see the Mercury/Matt feud incorporate a title though like Nitro/Jeff has on RAW, but unless they don't really have plans for Benoit and Chavo to feud anymore I wouldn't take the US belt from Benoit now. Still, it'd be interesting to see. I fully expect this feud to be at Mania too.

The only thing to me that presents a potential problem here is the fact that they may be placing themselves into a position where fans are going to demand cross-brand matches more and more now that WWE isn't keeping them Mania exclusive.

I think they are still in the rumble match, they will just be featured twice in one night. In looking at the roster I really don't see an obvious choice for a winner for teh rumble. I would ahve to go with some of the guys who have main evented before, like Booker, Edge, and Orton. I think a heel will win the rumble since all three titles are held by a face.

It depends if any of them change hands at the rumble, or at any of the PPVs leading up to Mania. Or there could even be different stipulations, like where Orton had the chance to get into the main event last year.

Guess I was wrong about wwe bringing in X-pac...

Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman remains under exclusive contract with WSX (Wrestling Society X) and will not be signing any WWE contract. He would definitely consider it if he was not under contract with them. He's also very excited about the new WSX project and feels it has the
potential to take off due to it being on a major TV network in MTV.
