I voted for WWE Championship, Bischoff as ref, Carlito as challenger, Texas Tornado rules for the 4-team match, Sgt. Slaughter as Ric's partner, and No DQ for the women's match. Did I forget anything?

Most of my votes were more preference than actual want except for the women's match, which I think no DQ would make it an awesome match with both involved. Not that I should care, though, since I can't buy the PPV here.

Here's what I voted for at Cyber Sunday.

1.Champion of Champions Match. I voted for the WWE Title to be on the line.
2.Edge & Randy Orton vs D-Generation X. I voted for Eric Bischoff to be the Special Guest referee.
3.Intercontinental Championship Match: Jeff Hardy (c) vs ?????. I voted for Shelton Benjamin to be Jeff Hardy's opponent.
4.Umaga vs ?????. I voted for Chris Benoit to be Umaga's opponent. I would love to see Umaga tap out to the Crossface.
5.World Tag Team Championship Match: Spirit Squad (c) vs Ric Flair & ?????. I voted for Dusty Rhodes to be Ric Flair's partner.
6.Women's Championship Match: Mickie James vs Lita. I voted for Submission match because if it were a No DQ or a Lumberjill match, Edge would probably interfere and cost Mickie the match. That's why I voted for Submission match.
7.4 Way Tag Team Match. A filler match. I voted for Tag Team Turmoil.

Us smarks want to see Sandman VS Umage.

SINCE THAT WOULD NEVAR HAPPEN EVAR AGAIN!

Submission match to see that women's wrestling isn't a joke.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-11-01 09:33:00

Happy Halloween everyone!! If Benoit gets voted to face umaga, he might have another five month "sabatical" (Dumbest term ever) or he might make umaga tap 2 the crossface.

I voted for: Roddy piper: Because he's not 157
Mr.-McMahon: Theres a 5% chance he'll count for 3
No DQ match: Because Diva's never make each other tap.
WWE Title: Because whoever gets the most votes will probably win the match
Kane: Because it would be nice to see Kane kick Umaga's ass one last time.
Carlito: Because he deserves to be champion already. After all the times he waas cheated out of the win
Tag Team turmoil: Just because

A few questions: WHO IS 2 COLD SCORPIO?!?!??!?!!?!!?!!?!?!!?!?!?!!!!!?!?!

Cyber Sunday Votes and Predictions

Underline means I voted for that person.
Bold means I think they gonna win.

-WWE Champion John Cena vs. World Heavyweight Champion King Booker vs. ECW World Champion Big Show
I voted King Booker because I'm liking SD! the most right now, as they seem to still stay interesting even though they constantly get fucked by the other shows. SD! needs the publicity of defending their title, and getting the King of Kings (on a Raw PPV I might add).

In reality, I'm going to have to say I think Booker is the underdog here. The fans will either vote for the most face (or only in the case of Cena), out of love for him, or conversely, they will vote for the most heel (I think Show is the most hated currently), in order to show Cena's superstrength.

-DX vs. Edge & Randy Orton, with Eric Bischoff as Special Guest Referee.
To be honest, this is the least confidence I've actually had in a DX PPV win. With DX coming into Cyber Sunday with momentum, a Guest Referee who will be biased against them, and the caliber of their opposition, I really don't know what to expect.

I chose Bischoff because Vince has been shoved down our throats so much, he's beginning to get digested, and Coach is just... no.

-Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy vs. Carlito
I don't think title changes are likely in a field where the challenger isn't even decided. Hardy's only just won the title, recently returned to the WWE, and I'm sure Carlito could be doing better things with his time (Like going for the WWE Title).

I chose Carlito because I like him the most, but I wouldn't really care who got picked, they're all good.

-World Tag Team Champions Spirit Squad vs. Ric Flair & Sgt. Slaughter
At least I think I voted for Sgt. Slaughter, I'm just so excited about this match that my brain has stopped functioning. I think that Flair would only win this match in order to further on the SS break up, and then hold the titles for a week or two.

I don't know why I chose Sgt. Slaughter, if I even did. I guess it's mainly becuase I can't really judge Rhodes, and I don't love Piper.

-Umaga vs. Sandman
I fear Umaga's streak being ended unneccesarily here if Kane gets picked. And I think he could get chosen, if the fans want retribution. With Sandman it should be a good (entertaining anyway) match, and he can really afford to lose I guess. Benoit's on a streak, and couldn't really afford the loss.

- Lita vs. Mickie James in a Submission Match
You don't see alot of Women's submission matches, so I like this choice. Lumberjack match is just bleh, and no-DQ: I can't see alot of No-DQ worthy action going on, apart from Edge interuption.
And I picked Mickie to win because Lita is leaving soon, so Lita would put Mickie over that bit more.

- Cryme Tyme vs. The Highlanders vs. Charlie Haas & Viscera vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch in a Fatal Four Way tag match
Cryme Tyme are the new team on the scene, and all the other teams are way too low profile to be worth a win here.
I picked fatal four way because it gives you alot of action, but hopefully won't make the cameraman commit suicide on live TV.

Wait a minute, it appears that I have been mislead as to the rules of the fatal four way match. Two in the ring at the same time? That's fucking stupid. I'm gonna go back to WWE.com and vote texas tornado style twice to make up for that.

Tajiri quit, Nunzio is on ECW's roster but it just unused, and Mick Foley got "fired" in a storyline.

Champions of Champions: Voted for the ECW title. The title that is pick is pretty much handed the win and Big Show is my favorite of all three champs.

DX and Rated RKO: Vince, hasn't shown many signs of wanting his feud with DX to continue.

Jeff vs ?: I picked Carlito, I think this match will have great entertainment value, plus Carlito and Jeff can come up with great stunts while working with each other.

Ric Flair and ? vs SS: Rowdy Roddy, he seems to be the most in shape of the three, SS will most likely win so it doesn't matter.

Umaga vs ?: Sandman, I don't want Chavo to come in and have Benoit get squashed after just returning. With Sandman the match may end in a no contest in Sandman's favor.

Mickie vs Lita: No DQ match. Lita has shown this is her enviroment in the past, she deserves a decent match before she leaves.

Four Team Tag Match: Fatal Four Way, having eight guys duking it out in the ring is to much action to cover, plus there is not enough room for Cryme Time to do their stuff.

Foley is trying to get into a program with Vince for Mania, hence the firing storyline, not 100% confirmed yet.

Scorpio is scheduled to start with SD! under his Flash Funk persona next month.

Didn't get a chance to watch ECW this week, though I will be downloading the matches from this week via Hardcore Hangover and will do a "match only" report card that way, I'd really like feedback on that when it's done to see how you like that compared to regular one's, the report cards are done for your entertainment, so if you see a way I can make them better, please let me know. Also, any questions you've got about the business are fair game with me, as I really enjoy doing the Hardcore Q & A stuff too. Ask me here, or PM me and I'll try to answer anything I can.

Going back to the last one, I did talk to Jason and he told me he trained for three weeks to learn how to bump properly, and was then told by Afa that it was basically like he saw on TV, and he could only truly learn by doing, and that if he saw someone breaking the rules and it was a blatant DQ, he needed to call for the bell regardless of the scripted finish. He'll be involved with another show with some other former WXW castoff's on December the 9th in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. If anybody lives in the area and has an interest in going to the show, please let me know so I can get you information.

As for who the greatest champion is,...well, do you have matches with each of those guys (other than the ones we already know)? If you could post them here, that would really help out. Thank you.

He went back to Japan. He did come back for the ONS II PPV for a tag match. He was not fired, he just decided to go back home and take it easy for a while so he and WWE are still on good terms. So there is always a possibility of a comeback.

Ooooohhh... Good Question. I really love Combat Zone Wrestling And Eddie Kingston is so violent he should have been arrested by now. I'm a huge Cena Mark, Though. Whatever Cena lacks in Technique he definetly makes up for in RAW power.

Yeah, I'm just gonna say Both Cena and Kingston has what it gots to take.

I'll try to do this from a historical perspective.

WWE Champion John Cena?

The WWE title is easily the most important belt in wrestling right now because it's the most important belt in the number 1 company. The lineage is pretty much unbroken, but I don't think they treat this belt with very much respect at all.

World Heavyweight Champion King Booker?

This belt is really overrated in the end, yes, it was the old NWA title that moved to WCW, but the NWA did pull they're support from WCW before they died off and became something the indies started running across their names. This belt does have an unbroken lineage from the end of WCW into the current era, as Booker was the last WCW champ, and brought this sucker to TV. However, this is also a belt that claims David Arquette and Vince Russo as champion, and began it's current run as being handed to Triple H on RAW. It's also been horribly booked within the last year, with every champion a paper champion since Batista never dropped it, and hasn't been pinned or forced to submit to legitimize any champ's reign with it since. Definitely not this title.

ECW Heavyweight Champion Big Show?

Unbroken lineage until Rhino held it. Also had it's first champion be a recognized NWA champ who never dropped the belt, but was stripped of it, leading some people (including Raven) to believe that this belt should be able to claim the NWA legacy. Problematical lately because Rhino wasn't jobbed in a title match, but did suffer a loss at the '05 ONS to Sabu via pinfall, and Sabu has since been pinned by Show. If you go by that then, Big Show is a legitimate ECW champion, but I'd still rather see Rhino come back and either job, or defeat the ECW champion to re-solidify the lineage. I would have called this the most valuable title there was in the old ECW, but lately I think it's another WWE title, booked better then the World Heavyweight, but not quite treated as the important thing the WWE title is.

NWA World Heavyweight Champion Sting?

Nope, no way. The NWA title is long dead, out of mothballs because indy promoters wanted to make their shows seem more credible and important, same thing with TNA. I also figure they'll drop the NWA belt once their lease on it ends, and create their own TNA World title. So I really don't see this belt as having the prestige some want to ascribe to it.

ROH Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson?

Regional champion. He matters within the company, and within what the company matters for, but no way does the ROH title compare to a major national title, sorry to the ROH fans, no offense, but it just dosen't.

IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi?

It matters for Japan and whatever New Japan matters for Japanese wrestling, in the US though? Nope.

AJPW Triple Crown Champion Minoru Suzuki?

See IWGP title entry above.

GHC Heavyweight Champion Naomichi Marufuji?

See Above.

AWA Heavyweight Champion Ric Converse?

AWA? Sounds regional to me, if I haven't heard of it, you aren't more then a company champ.

Or CZW Heavyweight Champion Eddie Kingston?

Same as the ROH belt.

Belts are props in the end, but only a WWE marketed heavyweight title truly matters in my mind, or can be considered as the top championship in wrestling because WWE (like them or not) is the top company in wrestling.

I agree with the belts are props statements because they have been for a while... You cab thank Vince Russo for starting that trend.

Personally, I consider the "real" champ, the man who everytime he steps in the ring he's in a potential match of the year, and that's Bryan Danielson. Sure, he may be a regional champ, but let's face out of all the champions he's probably the one with the best competition.

ECW on SciFi matchup report card for October 31

Didn't see the whole show this week, I could only see matches off of Hardcore Hangover, so that's the only thing I'm grading.

Sabu vs. Kevin Thorne, winner qualifies for the EEC: This was a really good match to kick off the show with. I really like the idea that people will have to qualify for the Chamber because it will give us another match with meaning on the show each week, and any sort of title match should always be treated with importance, everyone should want a title shot, and those should be hard to come by. Sabu definitely carried Thorne here, but as I've said before I think Kevin is a decent worker who definitely followed Sabu's lead extremely well here. Overall a great opening for the show. Grade: A

Davari vs. Shannon Moore: I think we've all had our talk about how much we don't like the idea of Khali on the brand. Davari and Moore had a pretty decent match for what it was. I like the idea of Davari working, and Khali was an enforcer on the outside, Khali is more fearsome and useful if you don't actually see him working much. The downside here is that I don't think they really helped anyone care more about these two. Davari beat a jobber, and cut a promo in freakin farsi! Let the guy speak goddamn english so we can get his character over, not speaking English isn't going to make him more hated, it's just going to make people not give a damn about him. We've had enough of that on SD! already. Grade: C

RVD and Holly vs. Show and Test: Show is really hurting, so it was smart to give him something light to do here. I'm really enjoying the work of RVD and Holly, even if they are being toned down, Show has picked up his game, and Test is also really trying. I thought they put on a very entertaining main event, not as good as prior TV main events the brand has had, but everybody worked well and put on a solid match, showcasing two of the brands biggest feuds right now. Grade: B+

I don't really like the new set much, but I don't hate it either, it just strikes me as another "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" sort of idea. The ropes I don't really mind, actually, I think they oughtta keep the new ropes, and change the set back. The grittier the better when it comes to ECW.

That's it for this week, hopefully I should get next week's show recorded.

As one of those "perhaps you can influence the show" sort of announcements:

ECW.com is running a poll right now asking who fans would want to see in the elimination chamber. You're choices are as follows:

Tommy Dreamer
The Sandman
Balls Mahoney
Hardcore Holly

Tommy Dreamer is currently leading, followed by Sandman, then Holly. WWE does usually pay some attention to these sorts of polls, so I would not be surprised to see the winner put into, and given the victory, in a qualifying match next week, so please vote for whoever you really strongly want to see in the Chamber match. There is still no information forthcoming about what an "Extreme" Elimination Chamber entails, my bet is weapons in the cage, if I hear anything, I'll let you all know.
