You all were asked by both myself, a member of site staff, and by Outlaw, who is the recognized manager of this club to shut up about Zen. Why are you not doing that? All this will do is antagonize him to return when his ban ends, and I really don't want that happening...or others will have to be banned as well.
Pat Patterson has returned to WWE as an agent. Good for Pat! He's a legit legend in the business, and can really add a lot, it's also great to see his health issues resolved.
I'm not even attempting to read all the posts I missed....wow. At least not tonight......
Sorry I was late again - I was working on something. Sooooo once again, I give you the HOOOOOOOOOORRIBLY Late Edition of:
Assi9's SD Blah-Blah-Blah
Tag Match: Rey Mysterio & Matt Hardy vs Gregory Helms & Chavo Guererro
GREAT MATCH - I think that's the first time I've seen the Twist of Fate actually connect in forever. And nothing beats seeing Rey 619 TWO people at once. ^_^ What's the matter, Vickie - afraid Chavo's gonna' hurt himself? Tee-the-fuck-hee. Excellent start.
Mareyse (?) promo
The mystery French-Canadian chick from before..........isn't much else to say at the moment......
Pick Your Poison Match opponents decided
Lashley vs Batista; King Booker vs Finlay.......ho-boy.
King Booker vs Finlay
The court gets disconnected; Finlay loves to fight - king or not! GOOD FOR HIM. Bad for Booker - HE WINS! THE KING, CROWNED WITH A SHELLALIGH! Thanks to The Lil' Bastard, of course. ^_^ Scaring Sharmell with a mouse, lolzorz. Looks like our leprechaun took over for The Boogeyman, in a sense.
With that said, Regal would've done the same; he's just too big a pussy to admit it. Actually, it's hard to say........ Anyway, FINALLY maybe this king-&-court crap will stop.
Lashley vs Batista
It goes well for a while - two big dudes butting heads. However, hell eventually broke loose, and EEEEEEEEEEEVERYONE was knocking each other senseless - Finlay attacks Batista.......King Booker attacks Finlay.............Lashley attacks King Booker...........yeesh. And looks like Lashley & Batista are through playing nice......
But my favorite line occured after they all went backstage:
Batista: Can't we all just get along?
Tag Match is set up for the main event.
Jimmy Wang Yang vs Sylvan
GODDAMMIT, SYLVAN! STOP THAT! Geez - we're getting yet ANOTHER Tatanka-type scenario....well, phooey.
M.V.P. makes 1st appearance as SD Superstar......my ass.........he just talks smack again..........
IS THERE A MUTE BUTTON FOR HIS BIG YAP? I wish my old little TV used a remote......
Ashley vs Michelle McCool
GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS! What can I say? Not much else, actually........
Lashley & Batista vs. King Booker & Finlay
Well, Booker & Finlay seem to have finally made up, anyway. And so have Batista & Lashley - for the moment. Lashley took a notable clunker into the steel steps, but Batista finished them off...and Lashley, too! Regal DQs the match, & Batista makes his point on wanting 'his' title - which really is his, just set aside briefly - back by Bombing EVERYBODY! Ahhhhh, greatness. NO KING NECESSARY!
Hopefully, I'll get tomorrow's edition up faster. ^_^

LordKooler's TNA iMPACT! review
1.Samoa Joe/Christian Cage segment
Samoa Joe talks about Jeff Jarrett's constant raping of the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Then Christian Cage comes out and challenges Joe to a Ladder Match later tonight.
2.AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels & The LAX brawl
The brawl started in the LAX locker room. Then it went to the ring and then it went to LAX's turf. LAX lock the cage near their entrance ramp and beat up Daniels! AJ tries to climb the fence but Homicide knocks him down. The brawl ends when security seperates LAX & Daniels.
3.Senshi, Petey Williams & The Paparazzi vs Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal & Shark Boy
A nice X Division match. What made it better is the fact that Sabin, Lethal & Dutt didn't use their stupid jackass antics during the match. Jerry Lynn watched the match from the ramp. During the match, Mike Tenay dedicated iMPACT to the founder of Mexico's AAA promotion Antonio Pena who recently died on October 5, 2006. AAA is the promotion that introduced Lucha Libre to the United States via the When Worlds Collide PPV in 1994. I think that AAA was the first promotion to use a six sided ring. After Sabin, Dutt, Lethal & Shark Boy won, Kevin Nash appeared on the screen and said that he built the X Division and it sickens him to see what it has become. He says that he will have a press conference to announce the Kevin Nash X Division Invitational Battle Royal Open Gauntlet match at Bound for Glory.
4.Ron Killings & Lance Hoyt vs The Diamonds in The Rough w/Simon Diamond
During the match, They showed a backstage segment involving Brother Runt, Abyss, and Raven. Raven called Samoa Joe a coconut eater. After Hoyt & Killings won, David Young & Simon Diamond argued with Elix Skipper and left him alone in the ring. Then Killings gets back in the ring and hugs Skipper & shakes his hand. Looks like TNA is already teasing the BET stable that'll consist of Ron Killings, Elix Skipper & Monty Brown.
5.Angle speaks
Kurt Angle talks about winning the Gold Medal at the 1996 Olympics. Then he talks about going to WWE and winning six WWE titles. He ends the interview by telling Vince McMahon to watch what he does in TNA because he hasn't seen nothing yet.
6.Unsanctioned Ladder Brawl: Samoa Joe vs Christian Cage
Best match of the night. The match would'ive been better if Runt, Abyss, Raven & Rhino didn't interfere. Samoa Joe won at the end.
So basically, the Angle interview that I was being told was so scathing and shite, turns out to just be Angle saying "yeah, I did a lot of great stuff with Vince...but now I'm gonna do even better with TNA"? Actually, that was the right way to go I think. Angle has really nothing bitch about when it comes to his WWE run. Ok, there was a couple years or so there where they played his "nerd" character way too long, but once they turned him into a more serious character, even people like me who were going "ok, he has the tools, but the character is totally shitsville" were willing to forgive and forget the prior usage of him. I've said for a few years, and I'll say it till I'm dead...Kurt Angle owes the latter part of his WWE tenure to Paul Heyman, who recognized Angle could and should be used better. It makes me long for what might have been if they could have got him commited to working with ECW...*sigh*

I saw bits of TNA last night, I was really tired so I stayed up and watched the X division match. The crowd was chanting for Shark Boy like crazy. It's strange to see a guy that gets reactions like he does be used mostly as a jobber.

Well here's something interesting...
In an announcement that will certainly create some discussion among fans, TNA announced this afternoon that they would be airing a music video set to the song "Enemy", performed by Chris Jericho's band Fozzy.
CHRIS JERICHO AND FOZZY TO APPEAR ON "iMPACT!" BEFORE "BOUND FOR GLORY"
See the national television debut of "Enemy" from Fozzy
On Thursday, October 19, on TNA "iMPACT!" on SpikeTV at 11pm ET, Chris Jericho and his band "Fozzy" will be featured in a music video for the song "Enemy" from their "All That Remains" album.
The national television debut of the video will feature Jericho and Fozzy along with the stars of TNA Wrestling just days before the "Bound For Glory" Pay-Per-View extravaganza on Sunday, October 22 live from Detroit, Michigan.
Take this for what its worth but why TNA? Couldn't he debut his video on WWE?
Yeah, he could, but I tend to think this is a situation where Jericho is flirting with TNA to get a sweetheart deal like what Hogan or Foley has with Vince. Both those guys had agreements to work with TNA until Vince came along and gave them the deals they have now.
With Chris Jericho's outside of the wrestling business projects seemingly falling apart one by one, he may be looking to get back in on a deal where he can work occassionally, and not be tied to the road. A way to make income and keep his name out there, while he pursues other things.
That makes sense, he doesn't have to worry about a full-time schedule or about being away from his family, and every couple of months he can come back for a big payday and help other talent get over.. That sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Kooler, Since you seem to be the resident TNA Fantic/Expert, What Do you think are Hoyt and Killing's chances of claiming the tag titles some time in the distant future? I think they are very good.
Jericho, You're a traitor and a sellout >:(
Some potentially pretty bad news about the ECW brand:
Dave Scherer is reporting today that Kevin Dunn, who is head of WWE production and the right hand of Vince, is telling everyone that ECW will be more integrated as the third WWE brand, rather then being treated like something almost seperate from the main company. Changes will include "vixens" being called "divas" on all production material, and they are also toying with calling the wrestlers "superstars" instead of "extremists. It was also reported that the extreme rules matches will be toned down, as Vince hated the RVD/Test match because he dosen't like the high plunder content bouts because they lead to injury. So while Extreme Rules is probably not going to be done away with, it is going to be toned down.

In my opinion, I think that Killings & Hoyt are a thrown together tag team. Plus with the BET thing teased between Killings & Elix Skipper on iMPACT, I think that Skipper will leave the Diamonds in the Rough and form the BET stable with Ron Killings & Monty Brown.

What the FUCK is this all about? ECW has been pretty good (excluding the first and most recent episodes) and the best matches so far have been RVD-Holly and RVD-Test which were both, wait for it.... Extreme Rules matches. And I have a great idea, don't call them extremists, don't call them superstars, call them WRESTLERS (Gasp!).
The Diva thing is also dumb, someone like Ariel fits more as a Vixen that a diva. More to the point, let's put it like this... If it ain't broke don't fix it.. ECW isn't broke so don't fucking fix it... Bunch of idiots.
I agree with you pep, but Vince is who he is, and he likes to be able to control his products, and have them go "his way". Toning down the Extreme Rules TV bouts makes a certain amount of sense, you don't want these guys getting beaten to death on TV, but Vince will have to be careful in how he does that. I think they oughtta let them really try and "go for it" with PPV though.
At 10/13/06 09:02 PM, ibhenowflee wrote: lol, MVP got the crap beaten out of him by Kane. Did you see the look on his face?
Lol, yeah. I expected Kane to go to Smackdown just not so soon. I guess SD needs as more starpower as possible especially with Rey scheduled for knee surgery in a couple of weeks.
Now, back to ECW. I understand wanting to protect some of the wrestlers, but there are certain wrestlers (like the Sandman) who benefit from Extreme Rules due to the fact that they're limited in their wrestling abilities. The Extreme rules enviroment is also what separates ECW from RAW and SD so that's probably why I don't want it to be toned down.
It seems that's what Vince is going to do and nothing is going to change his mind, he'll probably use Extreme Rules on PPV's or when they're going to put an end to a feud.
Although I have to wonder, if Holly hadn't sliced his back open would this thought even be in Mcmahon's head?
sure i'll join! just as long as we can talk about hardcore matches and those matches : ) ... =)

Extreme Rules has been amping up the last couple of weeks with RVD. I can see why they want to roll it back a bit, because they've been giving away PPV quality matches on free tv, and that creates a dangerous "can we top this?" environment which gets the wrestlers hurt. Sandman can easily come out and just start whacking people with the Singapore Cane and boom! He's had a halfway decent TV match. I think we should really wait and see how far down is toned down.
It seems that's what Vince is going to do and nothing is going to change his mind, he'll probably use Extreme Rules on PPV's or when they're going to put an end to a feud.
From what I hear, the stip isn't being done away with, it's just that matches like RVD/Test and RVD/Holly will probably not occur anymore, they'll have Extreme Rules, and some plunder, but I would think it'd be confined to only one or two spots per match, vs. five or six really holy shit moments.
Although I have to wonder, if Holly hadn't sliced his back open would this thought even be in Mcmahon's head?
It still would have been. WWE has been generally toning down the risky matches and violence on the shows the past couple of years. They have quite a few guys on the roster who have had neck surgeries due to the hard hitting style from the Monday Night Wars, so now that WWE has no direct competition, they want to try and re-educate the fans that less is more. Seriously, if a guy has a good grasp of psychology, he can make a few moves and a big spot do much more for him then if he just goes out and starts hitting high spot after high spot, and throws everything and the kitchen sink at an opponent.
Hey I know I'm like 4 years late but do you still have a spot in the club for the Buggman. If you don't you go to hell you go to hell and you die.
Forget Tatanka, I think Regal has had a much longer losing streak. Seriously, I can't remember the last time he won a match. I'm getting real sick of Vito, and I think the general crowd is getting tired of him as well so hopefully it won't be long before this gimmick is done and over with.
The 6 man tag was easily the best of the night and Jimmy got his first win. Yay!

So, It's probably certain that Rey is going to lose next weeks watch so he can go on haitus due to his Knee Surgery which is coming up. But what about after that? maybe he'll go to RAw and chase the Intercontinental Championship or something.
ECW Original Sandman and the extreme educator, Matt Striker, will bring their rivalry to the next level when they face off in a Singapore Cane-on-a-Pole Match on ECW on Sci Fi.
Hatred has burned between these two since Striker brought his classroom to ECW. Sandman has managed to crash several of Striker’s Classroom sessions. The two also faced on Oct. 3 when Striker pinned Sandman to pick up a victory along with Big Show. Most recently, Sandman pinned Striker last week on ECW on Sci Fi in another Six-Man Tag Team Match.
The Singapore Cane-on-a-Pole Match marks the first singles match for Striker since joining the ECW roster. He will have nowhere to run this time without Big Show or Test in his corner.
“This kid’s nuts,” Sandman said in response to Striker’s most recent challenge. “Obviously he’s outsmarted himself on this one because if he thinks by putting that cane up on a pole he’s going to have a better shot at beating me, then he’s definitely not as intelligent as he thinks he is.”
If there was ever an advantageous stipulation match for Sandman, the Singapore Cane-on-a-Pole Match is it. Striker is out of his element in this one.
“I’ll take his head off with it,” Sandman said. “No mercy. Not since what he’s done to me the last couple weeks.”
While Sandman is already penciling in a win for the match and intends on finally beheading the pompous teacher, Striker feels confident in himself.
“First of all, it’s physically impossible to take someone’s head off,” Striker said. “But expect nothing less from a Neanderthal, uneducated, reprobate, inebriated one such as he to think that you can physically take someone’s head off. Believe me, that’s not happening. Not in my classroom.”
Striker acknowledges the brutality of his opponent and within the match itself. But he believes he has what it takes to outsmart Sandman in his own game.
“This is a barbaric, heinous contest. I am a professional wrestler. A highly trained one at that. My strategy will be to ground the Sandman. To make him unable to retrieve that Singapore cane. And finally, when I procure that cane, I will engage in heinous activity.”
Will Striker teach Sandman a lesson or will Sandman disrupt Striker’s class again? Find out on ECW on Sci Fi at 10/9 CT.

This week on ECW on Sci Fi, Rob Van Dam gets his last chance to reclaim his position at the very top of ECW – a brand he first debuted with more than one decade ago. On Tuesday, ECW fans will witness an epic encounter between RVD and a man who has yet to be pinned since his emergence in ECW, arguably the most dominant champion in sports-entertainment today: Big Show.
"The ECW worldwide audience has spoken, and despite my prophecies, RVD is still their man,” Paul Heyman told ECW.com. “Obviously, my Children of Extreme need to witness before their very eyes, the sheer dominance of the ECW World Champion Big Show. Therefore, I have granted Rob Van Dam his first one-on-one opportunity against The Big Show since their July 4 match in Philadelphia when Big Show won the championship.”
At the unexpected and surprising behest of Paul Heyman, RVD was given the unique opportunity to compete against the Extreme Giant. Since the infamous South Philly Screwjob on July 4 where Heyman aided the Extreme Giant in seizing the gold from Van Dam, Heyman has placed roadblock after roadblock in front of RVD – from the rugged Hardcore Holly to the malicious Test.
The ECW Messiah, who since the rebirth of ECW has abandoned ECW Originals like Van Dam, has forged an alliance of sorts with the World’s Largest Athlete and others that he believes are the future of Extreme. Bastardized by ECW’s self-touted martyr and Messiah, RVD has spent the majority of his recent ECW career fighting against the tide and against highly stacked odds.
Finally, having endured a number of grueling confrontations, he has brawled his way back into contention for ECW’s top prize. Given the events of the last several months, when RVD was presented with this prospect, it was undoubtedly an offer the Extremist could not refuse.
“Should RVD pull off the impossible and defeat Big Show,” explained Heyman, “then I will be obligated to grant him a title match. However, if Van Dam falls victim to the champion, like [so many others] have before him, then I will move ECW forward and far away from RVD's selfish pursuit of being the ECW World Champion."
In order for RVD to reach the pinnacle of the ECW mountain, he will need to conquer a steep challenge in the ECW World Champion. The path of the massive Extremist has been that of destruction and sheer dominance. Big Show has defended his championship against all-comers and has yet to be pinned since claiming the gold. Relive the wreckage of the Extreme Giant on ECW.com.
From encounters with Extremists Sabu and Sandman to battles with RAW and SmackDown behemoths like Kane, Batista and Undertaker, the World’s Largest Athlete has left a stack of crippled bodies in his immense tracks. He even dominated in the bloodiest Hell in a Cell Match in history against D-Generation X at Unforgiven.
This Tuesday, the mammoth path of the ECW World Champion intersects with that of Rob Van Dam on ECW on Sci Fi. Would RVD be able to scale the 7-foot mountain? Could he earn the right to an ECW World Championship match? Or would Big Show maintain his supremacy and dominate en route to Cyber Sunday?
What level of Extreme would both men have in store for each other? Tune in Tuesday on Sci Fi at 10/9 CT to see all the unbelievable action.
