Unforgiven Predictions
We're in Canada, Vince McMahon is on the bill, as well as TWO hometown heroes, one in their last match, and the other fighting for the biggest title of them all. I have a feeling some shit is gonna go down.

-WWE Champion Edge vs. John Cena - TLC Match
Something's going to go down, but I think that Edge will keep the title here. Maybe someone from Smackdown will interfere.

-D-Generation X vs. The McMahons & Big Show - Hell in a Cell
I'm hoping for some fucking crazy HIAC action here. Like Shane going Coast-to-Coast from the top of the Cage, or a 500 pound man getting Pedigreed through the roof of a cage.

-Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro vs. Jeff Hardy
Hardy gets screwed out of the title by Edge, and procedes to main event level to replace Cena. I mean, they like fucking Matt over right? What better way than to push his brother way above him?

-Women's Champion Lita vs. Trish Stratus
This just seems like a perfect moment to totally break Kayfabe and have a good old-fashioned send off, and celebration in the middle of the ring.

-World Tag Team Champions Spirit Squad vs. The Highlanders
This just seems perfect to start a SS break-up storyline, and to leave the Highlanders to face Cryme Tyme when they come.

-Carlito vs. Randy Orton
Meh, I don't think they're done burying Randy.

-Kane vs. Umaga
I was gonna say Kane, but I honestly see no reason to demolish all their hard work just to give Kane a win.

WWE.com is reporting that we will see a NEW Hell in a CEll at Unforgiven tonight.. Its supposed to be taller than the other incarnations.. I've already ordered the PPV so I'll get to see if there's noticeable difference.

Randy Orton def. Carlito

Well, I guess I'll just wait until it comes on then...

I don't have the time or energy right now to post Unforgiven results...but the results are lame and downright baffling in most cases. Only two matches went the way they shold have, and the rest was just standard WWE not having a goddamn clue. They wonder why fans like me who used to order EVERY show, even before the Attitude era don't order anymore? They need to look at the kind of idiot finishes they gave folks tonight.

Trish is retiring, because among other things she;s getting married. She also expressed an interest to do other thigs (probably like acting).

And unfortunately, John Cena is the champ... again, but I'm expecting to turn on the fans tonight, justt he look he had after the match was of someone (character-wise) who was tired of getting booed.. But a Cena heel turn is probably just wishful thinking on my part.

Someone should kill Cena. It's should end now. Meh I guess I half expected it, Everything was in Edge's favour so he HAD to lose.

I'm just glad Orton is on a winning trail again.

And all common sense. :-(

I want some new, fresh stories. Every week, it's the same old "I'M JOHN CENA AND I WILL BE CHAMPION, EDGE!" and DX and Vince fighting...ugh. I mean, I like DX, but the feud needs some fresh angle or it'll go stale fast.

Well, finish going stale.

Please, please let something new and clever happen tonight...I know that it's unlikely, but please, let something good happen...

What sucks is that apart from the results, the matches were actually pretty good. I would have liked if the Orton-Carlito match had gone on a bit longer but it had one hell of a finish. The Trish-Lita match was among the best women's matches (outside of Japan) that I've seen in a while and it was a nice twist having Trish win using the Sharpshooter.

Also there was a reunion of the Hardy Boys, apparently Matt had nothing better to do so he made the trip to Canada... Of course during the Hardy's conversation, Lita just happened to wal by and the three exchanged pleasantries..

Look at this card.... A lot of unique matches that only the poeple in Japan will get to see.

DX vs. The Big Show & Hardcore Holly
- Rob Van Dam vs. Edge for the WWE Title
- Test vs. Umaga
- Tommy Dreamer, Steven Richards & Sandman vs. The Spirit Squad
- CM Punk vs. Randy Orton
- Sabu vs. Nitro vs. Jeff Hardy in an Extreme Rules Triple Threat Match
- Carlito & Torrie Wilson vs. Mike Knoxx & Kelly Kelly

Sabu vs Nitro vs Hardy-Extreme Rules.... They got to release this matches on DVD.

I was planning on going to unforgiven, but seriously, I'm glad I didn't go. Cena winning again? Boring. I would like to see Batista go to Raw and have a fave vs face match. Of course Batista would win.

Anyways Redface, I'm waiting for the review.

I'm not sure y'all are seeing what pisses me off more then (once again) WWE shoving Cena down our throats. John Cena is a three time WWE champion in only a little more then a YEAR since winning his first title. Does anyone here remember when even being a ONE time champion mattered? Seriously, no sarcasm here, I really want to know if I'm just showing my age in how long I've been watching here. I remember when Hogan was only a 5 time champ and you looked at that and went "holy hell! That's impressive!

WWE at this point just seems to not give a good god damn about how many times a guy holds the belt, and I just feel like that devalues the belt, and devalues winning it. ECW eats so much shit for exposing or fucking up the business by doing huge spots every night and crap like that, but they treated their belt with goddamn respect! The highest number of title wins is Sandman with 5, next is Shane Douglas with 4, then Tazz and Sabu with 2. So even when (and come on, we all pretty much know it's when) Sabu wins it again, he's going to be third on the all time list, with only 3. That was 10 years or so of work and the belt was still kept that important. I know the business has changed, but Cena has just held the belt way too often in way too short an amount of time, especially for a guy that does not have the universal support they want him to have.

The fact is that the belts have become nothing more than props... That spinning belt is a slap in the face to people like Bruno Sammartino and the Ric Flairs and the Hogans.. Now back to your point, its true. Ric Flair is a 160time (18 actually) world champion, yet HHH is already up to 10, hell The Rock had something like 7 title runs in his sting in wrestling.

The major difference is that there used to be a lot of people who held the belt for 6+ months, other than Cena and JBL recently we went through a stretch where the Heavyweight belts seem to cahnge hands every two months. The fact us becoming the champ. becoming "Da Man" just isn't what it once was, and that's something we have to accept (not like).

Just look at Jeff Jarrett over in TNA, he loses the belt and regains it a couple of weeks later, no disrespect intended for Jarrett but he's probably going to end up being a 15 time heavyweight champion when he's a wrestler that probably shouldn't be Heavyweight champ once in his career.

In this day and age, the biggest draw (like Cena) will get multiple title runs, while someone who may deserve it more, is left to challenge and job to him..

Remember Avie, you grew up watching wrestling, what you see today is Sports Entertainment and that means the belt is nothing more than a prop to increase the entertainment value of the program.

Ah man. Last night just wasn't my night. This sucks that Cena won. Now the world is screwed as they will have to listen to Cena's annoying, broken-record style rants..."THE CHAMP IS HERE?" ...(Dammit, who put a question mark in the tele-prompt?!) ...sorry, I just had to do that...anyways...

I take it the only reason Cena won was to promote "The Marine". Ah well, hopefully Orton or somebody will take it off of him soon enough...hopefully...

Honestly Jarret is more annoying than Cena in that perspective since Jarret has won like 5 in 1 year. Come on, TNA has such better talent.

At least they are slowing down a bit on smackdown. Batista has won it once, but he held it for a long time. Next time he wins the belt he's going to have it for like a year. Even though he hasn't won it 3 times, he held it for a god amount of time. Even though I disagree with King Booker, since I thought Booker T deserved the title at wrestlemania 19, I hope Booker holds it till at least 2007 making it that much harder to get.

Anyways about how the belt is a prop, that is true. If they never had something to represent the wrestlers by, the wrestlers would be all the same and the PPV would not sell as much.

Oh well, I'm kind of accepting it, but I do hope that a new show comes on someday, where they start everything from scratch and do it the way it feels valued.

The problem I have is that my memories are of seeing Bret Hart kissing the belt before every title defense, seeing HBK cry in the middle of the ring when he won the belt, because it meant something to them. Nowadays, you still see that every once in a while but not as often as before, I mean Vince Mcmahon himself has helt the title.... Why? David Arquette once held the same belt tha Booker T carries around with him nowadays.

Its not just that the belt is a prop, its also that most wrestlers treat like so aswell. Winning the title shows you who cares for the business and who may not care as much. Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Edge (at New Year's Revolution) all these men cried after winning the belt, they knew they were going to win it, but they still cried because it mattered. You won't see HHH or Cena react like that because they have a mentality that they can be crowned champions pretty much when they see fit.

Its just pathetic, seeing someone like Cena winning the title for the third time (in a year) while great wrestlers like Flying Brian (That's how I know him and that's what I'll always call him) and Owen Hart never had the priviliege of holding the title.

How many times did Bret win the title again? Anyways I remember Bret with the title. It was like his best friend. Although I'm still angry about he WCW desision, not because WCW is bad (WCW IS GREAT), but just because their main star at that time was Goldberg and lets face it Goldberg was one of the worst wrestlers ever. I hope HBK wins the belt again soon. Another person that loved the belt was Kurt, he also worked SUPER hard on keeping that.

Sorry for being a Batista nut, but I remember Batista winning the championship, he was balling, he loved it so much, until what Mark Henry (accidentally) did. When he had to give it to smackdown, he was in tears knowing he wouldn't have it for a long time, so I guess for some people it isn't a prop, it's more like something that you worked your life on.

Bret won it 5 times in the WWF.. Cena's up to three already, don't look at this as a Canadian but as a wrestling fan... Does Cena deserve as many title reigns as Bret Hart?

I remember that, when Edge won it he was a heel (obviously) but he still broke character and started crying, you don't see that with other wrestlers, the same thng happened when Orton beat Benoit for the title (Orton was also a heel), The fact is winning the belt still matter to some, but to a lot its just a way of earning a bigger paycheck and becoming a bigger draw.
