It could have happened to him... except he would have left without a scratch, after he's Goldberg... (even if he does suck in the ring).

CM Punk has fallen on the P25 list for not competing last week and for slapping Shannon Moore right in his stupid mouth. BULLSHIT!

WWE (IMO) only gives pushes to Stars who will generate the most ratings, money, heat etc., but if only the knew how big of an asset Punk is, man...

I agree, how dare they push performers who've proven to make money for the company! Why the fuck would they want someone to draw in a top spot? That's nuts! Why the hell isn't Gene Snitsky the WWE champion? Let's make Sylvan World Champion, Danny Doring for ECW champion. Do you know how stupid you sound after that comment? Not to mention, they know what a fucking asset Punk is, that's why the guy is always on TV.

Well, the story about the Wellness Policy violators now being suspended without pay...is absolutely true. Talent when suspended will be pulled off of House Shows, but still used on TV and PPV so that they can keep storylines going, they are not payed for TV, for PPV, or any merchandising. They get nothing. Randy Orton is currently a part of this club....start taking bets on when his stupid ass is gonna be fired, if Kurt Angle can go, Randy Orton is certainly not immune.

This is a heinous deal by WWE I'd say. Making guys work for nothing is illegal, has to be, it's goddamn slavery. Just utter shite, sit them home, and deal with the consequences of it.

Balls violated the Wellness Program, but he will be available for TV tonight. Rough House Ryan O'Reilly, who has worked the house shows will be sitting home for 30 days.

So if you've been on TV and pushed, be prepared to work for free wrestlers...yeah, I'm gonna be with Dave Scherer in total outrage about this for awhile.

It might be brutal but it could also get the point across that wwe means buisness this time around. True that it is bad, but hey, all the wrestlers have to do is stay clean to avoid such action taken against them. Cause who the hell likes to work for free (unless your a charity/social worker but that doesn't count in this case) when you could be getting paid for your efforts and get the money made from merc sales?

So while I agree that it is an aggressive policy I do have to praise it to some degree to get some of these guys in line. Though the effectivness of it won't be known until much later. It could be a flop and be changed again in a few weeks for all we know.

I knew about Orton but I didn't kow Balls had violated the policy aswell... I agree with you somewhat, yeah its basically legal slavery to work for free, but you can't put the blame squarely on the shoulders of the high-ups in the WWE, some of the blame has to go to the wrestlers. They've been warned before, they saw what happened with RVD and if they're still breaking the policy then that's their fault... At least Orton, I mean come on you just came back from suspension a while back and you just violated the policy again? That right there seems like Orton's fault.

As some of you may or may not know, ECW is being taped tonight at MSG and while I won't post any spoilers I can tell you that the follwing matches will be seen tomorrow on Sci-Fi:

CM Punk vs Shannon Moore
Rob Van Dam vs Hardcore Holly
Sabu vs Big Show

Hm, that was an interesting beginning moment on RAW tonight. Funny how Nitro got painted by Jeff Hardy. Although, that did ruin a nice fur coat, I say fur is murder...just kidding.

Just a question, did they stop having the feature on the website where you can watch RAW while it was on commercial?

I know the guys are big boys, and they really need to just straighten up and fly right instead of trying to cheat the system, but what happens if somebody sustains a serious injury while they work for free here? They've now lost even MORE money because of that. Not to mention, think about this in terms of your job. You're job tells you "ok, you broke our rules, so we're going to suspend you from getting paid for a month, but you're still going to be expected to show up and work" you'd call them crazy and tell them to fuck off wouldn't you? So why should it be different with WWE? Yes, these guys could just stop violating the policy, but this is complete BS that you're asking someone to put themselves at risk for potential permanent injury (and I don't give a shit what you say, everytime somebody steps between those ropes, the potential is there that a guy could be permanently injured). It's just utter self-serving shit for WWE to make people work for nothing, no matter what they did.

RAW has been real enjoyable so far, isn't it nice when they've finalized the PPV card and they can then just spend the show giving us a lot of wrestling and skits that promote all the matches? Hopefully WWE feels the same and continues to do that, they've got to stop acting like the buys are just a given, it's not the attitude era anymore.

Sabu MUST WIN TOMMOROW!!! Maybe, maybe they can get away with a screw job finish...but they've essentially backed this feud into a corner where Sabu must either win, or walk away. It's NY, it's a big moment, and this is something the ECW crowd wants, I think Sabu has paid the penalty for being stupid, and now it's time to do what's right for the brand and give him the belt. I just don't think they can do this match again after tommorow night's show unless it turns from Sabu chasing Show to Show chasing Sabu. I still think this match can headline the December PPV if they want it to, but the best thing to do right now though is get the belt off of Show, and then find a way to keep this fresh till then. Sabu vs. RVD is money...but I would really save that bout for Mania.

RAW was ok, but I'm skipping out on the main event, because I sort of lost interest in anything McMahon becomes directly involved in. That, and watching the show with family members who aren't knowledgable of the industry is pretty annoying.

You can just read the spoilers if you're that desperate to know the results.., But I agree Sabu should get the belt, if nothing else it will offer a change of pace in the title matches (especially against someone like RVD).

(and I don't give a shit what you say, everytime somebody steps between those ropes, the potential is there that a guy could be permanently injured)..

WOW!! I never knew that... I know they're risking injury but the fact remains if you don't want to risk getting hurt (for free anyways) just don't do things that violate the policy. And again I'll agree with you, its selfish of the WWE to jeopardize the careers of certain wrestlers just so they don't have to come up with a new storyline ( I blme the creative team, for not having any ideas)....

Also, Rene Dupree and Balls Mahoney are also scheduled to wrestle on ECW, so we'll finally get to see Dupree in ECW.

Also... Let's go Cena. Cena Sucks... You gotta love the New York crowd.

Haha that was great. That had me laughing for the rest of the night, Jeff needs work on backstage gags though, but I'd love to see him do more.

Was Jeff supposed to botch the jump to the outside of the ring? It seemed like he didn't clear the ropes. I thought Raw was great tonight, high quality matches.

From what I've read the crowd was very active for certain matches like Sabu and Show. I also read that CM Punk was waaaay over with the crowd and that his match with Moore was actually a stiif and hard hitting affair... I guess we'll see for ourselves in a couple of hours.... Ya know what? Screw it - I'm just gonna' comment on D-Lucks' Recap, as it's too late for my segment, really.

At 9/9/06 06:11 AM, TheD-LucksEdition wrote: The D-Lucks Smackdown Recap

Meh, thought I'd do it for a change.

1. Chavo Guerrero w/Vickie Guerrero vs. Tatanka

Another week of Native Americans arguing with referees and WWE refusing to let Eddie's name rest. Chavo won with a Frog Splash.

Fuck Chavo & Vicky - I no longer care what the fuck they do anymore.

2. The Miz vs. Matt Hardy

Matt had it won until Gregory Helms interefered and bounced his head off the rope, allowing Miz to get the pinfall. Looks like it may be Hardy vs. Helms at No Mercy.

GAAH! Matt never catches a break unless he's facing Helms directly...........

3. London, Kendrick & Ashley vs. KC James, Idol Stevens & Michelle McCool

London, Kendrick and Ashley won in the end.

Didn't pay attention to it.

4. Finlay vs. Rey Mysterio

Mysterio was an emotional wreck; he missed most of his signiture moves and got the Celtic Cross from Finlay. Finlay won.

And just when you thought JBL couldn't be any bigger of an ass.........

5. Lashley vs. William Regal

Regal was scheduled to fight Vito again this week, but threatened Teddy Long with a sexual harrassment lawsuit if he faced him. So Teddy put against Lashley instead. Vito was at rigside to help out with commentary. The match wasn't really all that special, Vito flashed his arse at Regal at somepoint and Lashley speared Regal for the win.

Vito tried to get the point across that he wasn't gay, but JBL was still too creeped out to hear any of it, as he sat veeeeeeeeeeeeery far away. LOLZORZ.

6. Mr. Kennedy vs. Some Jobber Who I Think Was Called Danny Something

Kennedy squashed the jobber. Kennedy then made his big announcement, which was basically that he no longer has any mountains to climb on SD!, and that if John Cena ends up coming to Smackdown, then he might go to Raw. Teddy Long then told Kennedy that there was someone on Smackdown he'd never faced. He then made a match between Kennedy and Undertaker for No Mercy. Sounds good to me.

Lawrence Tyler. No Danny; I just looked at LordCooler's recap. He had quite a few crudentials under his belt (pardon the pun, there), as I remember it. Anyway, did anyone see the look on Kennedy's face at the mere mention of The Dead Man? Priceless.

7. King Booker vs. Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship

Batista stopped intereferance from Regal and Sharmell, but failed to stop Finlay, who then hit Batista on the head with the shillalgh (sp?) Booker covered Batista and got the win. Finlay then proceeded to beat down Batista with chairs and the shillalgh, busting him open. Finlay then shouted at Batista, "You have no idea what you have gotten into. I'm your worst nightmare."

It's spelt "shellaligh", as far as I know, so ya' only missed the one 'i'. Anyway, HIS SKULL HAD TO HAVE BEEN CRACKED AFTER ALL THAT. Planned out or not, that still looked like some extreme pain there.

Other stuff that happened

MVP says to Teddy that if Cena comes to SD!, he wants to be signed for one dollar more than Cena will be.

I AM FUCKING SICK & TIRED OF THIS POMPOUS ASSHOLE!!!!!! HE WAS THE ONE MAKING THE BIG MISTAKE, NOT TEDDY.

Another Jimmy Wayne Yang promo where he talks about curves.

Don't remember it too well, but who cares? HE'S JIMMY WAYNE YANG, AND HE'S YER' BOY! GIDDYUP! YEEHAW!

Well, it doesn't sound dumb when he says it........

JBL attacks Tony Chimmel for a couple of minutes with a T-Shirt gun.

I missed that; poor Chimmel gets less respect than Cole does......

Anyway, D-Lucks, I apologize for using your recap to move mine along, but it's late, and the old comp still cuts me off..........only a matter of time, though.............^_^

I'm not happy with the Big Show win, I can see why WWE felt the need to do it, but I just don't know how many times you can do essentially the same old ending for fucking Sabu out of the belt before it starts to become old hat. More on that in the report card tommorow.

I still enjoyed the show overall, but obviously there were things I could easily find wrong with the show.
