If by interesting, you mean horribly painful to watch, then yes, it would be extremely interesting.

Some ECW news bits:

For those of you who have asked, Brian Gewirtz was the one who wrote the really inappropriate line about the late Steve Irwin on Tuesday's ECW show. Of course, it was submitted to Vince McMahon and approved. So if you want to direct your ire at the people responsible, there you go.

We all know HHH gets his share of criticism for his position in the company, but even people in WWE who don't usually bury him to me did so over his "bingo" comment on Tuesday's ECW show. Of course, it was a reference to ECW's original home, the ECW Arena, which also had midnight bingo in it for a time. The criticism was that he said it to throw a dig at ECW and there was no storyline point for doing so. Some people have told me that they think he did it because it's no secret that his wife is not a fan of the ECW project.

I am seriously tired of people who just will not admit that at least some of their success is due to the the innovations of ECW, and what it showed to the business. I kind of doubt Vince Mcmahon would have done and pushed the DX angle if he hadn't been convinced that more adult oriented storylines like that would work, by someone else. Screw H and his overblown ego.

WWE also apologized for the Matt Striker comment, but very tersely, and I kind of doubt it will keep them from doing something like that in the future. I'd happily withdraw this statement if they prove me wrong, but I don't think they will.

I'm surprised it took you this long to mention the bingo comment Avie, I was pissed because HHH could have said something else and its just stupid to take a cheap shot at ECW just because Steph doesn't like it.

As far as the apology to the Striker comment is concerned, it was half-assed and of course they'll do something like this again, we're taling abou the same people who still haven't let Eddie rest in peace.

And last but not least, Boogeyman vs Cena would suck, there's no other way to say it.

So what do you guys think of Trish's retirement from the ring? Do you think they'll give her the title in Canada as a homage to her? Or do you think they'll let her slip unsuccesful, and titleless from the WWE?

I kind of missed the comment and it's intent the first time around. That's why I only mentioned Striker and such. DX is proven to not be a draw though as ECW only did a 2.1 this week, up from last week, but down from the average. Probably in part due to the holiday, but I also think the fanbase is sick of this whole storyline.

Vote for a new Balls Mahoney shirt: http://poll.wwe.com/balls/

I hate how when they do these votes none of the designs are really all that great, so it basically becomes like voting for which shirt sucks the least.

Its a shame because Nick Dinsmore (Eugene) was one of the WWE best prospects in OVW and then he got dtuck with a dumb gimmick and that was the end of that.

As for the Balls Mahoney T-shirt, I voted for the one in the bottom right hand corner (one of the black ones) no of the mare really that good, but I just think wrestling shirts look better when they're black.

The Spirit Squad were also great prospects, then were saddled with a lame gimmick. Carlito almost met the same fate until they dropped the "Caribbean Cool" from his name and his personality more then made up for any defects. Vince seems to be back to thinking unrealistic cartoony gimmicks with sophomore humor and adult language are the way to go. I imagine he is thinking that a marriage between his two most successful periods will yield a third success story...yeah...no.

My problem is that none of them really reflect what Balls is about. You've got either a shirt centering on beer (which is more appropriate to Sandman) or a shirt focusing on Satanic elements (and there's nothing like that prevalent in Balls's past or present character that I've ever seen excentuated). So I'm curious as to what the hell WWE was thinking when they came up with these suggestions.

The same formula doesn't work because its not the same talent that people wee used to seeing, people like The Rock and Stone Cold drew in the casual fans, which is something current talent like John Cena and Edge just don't have. The main problem is that everyone is afraid to tell Vince to change things for fear of losing their jobs, so IVnce just does what Vince likes, even if everyone else hates it.

The cold hard fact is that Vince's mind went to a chaotic mode when he turned Randy Orton face and took the belt from him 1 month after he beat Benoit for the gold. Randy has not been the same since then. From the summer of 2004, I have seen many more unworthy feuds than those good ones. The bottom line is: Vince is too old to be the captain of the ship (WWE) anymore, the later he retires, the more the ship will sink.

Something's been bothering and I have to say it.... Edge is a liar!! He has lost a TLC match, it took place on Smackdwon I remember Benoit and Jericho won it.

Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho defeated The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz
and Edge & Christian to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship.

SmackDown!
May 24, 2001, Anaheim, California

See... Edge has lost a TLC... Liar! Its funny how the WWE just happened to forget about this/

Unfortunately it is true, he was released. The reason, its kind of hard to explain he was having problems at home and with his health and he had a pain to some backstage, not to mention the fact that he seemed to become dependent on pain killers. Let's put it this way, Angle was released for this own good.

LordKooler's TNA iMPACT! review
1.LAX vs Kirby & TJ Mack
LAX's opponents for tonight's iMPACT are AWA Light Heavyweight Champion "Krazy K" Kirby Mack and his brother TJ Mack. Let me tell you who Kirby Mack is, Kirby Mack was trained by the Hardy Boyz, Shannon Moore, C.W. Anderson, and Jeff Hammrick and made his debut on 05/23/2000. Kirby spends most of his time in the independant circuit in the Carolinas. His finisher is the OverDoZe which is a Reverse DDT followed by that Leg Drop pin that Jeff Hardy does. He was involved in the infamous 2003 Death Before Dishonor triple threat match in Ring of Honor involving him, Joey Matthews (Joey Mercury), and Jeff Hardy. Many people consider that match to be one of the worst ROH matches of all time. He recently won the AWA Light Heavyweight Championship in a 30-man tournament in AWA CWF Mid Atlantic last year after defeating Shannon Moore in the finals on 07/30/2005. Why wasn't Kirby Mack wearing the AWA Light Heavyweight Belt on iMPACT? The Mack brothers have myspace profiles. You can check out Kirby's by clicking here and you can check out TJ's by clicking here. After LAX won, Konnan complained about LAX not being on the poster for No Surrender and then AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels come out to attack LAX. Then Styles & Daniels hang the NWA Tag Team Championship belts on the Ultimate X.
2.America's Most Wanted & Matt Bentley & Kazarian vs The James Gang & Shark Boy & Norman Smiley
After AMW & Benzarian won, AMW argued. Will AMW break up?
3.Christian Cage vs Ron Killings
A good match. After Christian won, Christian tried to do the one man conchairto on Killings after the match but Rhino comes out and saves Killings and challenges Christian to a match at No Surrender.
4.Jeff Jarrett polygraph test
Jim Cornette came out with the results of Jeff Jarrett's polygraph test and officially announces Rhino vs Christian Cage for No Surrender. Then Cornette calls out Jarrett and Jarrett comes out with Eric Young. Cornette asks Jarrett the three most important questions on the test. First Cornette asks Jarrett if he was responsible for Christian's heel turn at Hard Justice, Jarrett says no but the polygraph test says yes. Then Cornette asks Jarrett if he was behind Earl Hebner's actions during the King of The Mountain match at Slammiversary, Jarrett says no but the Polygraph test says yes. Then Cornette asks Jarrett the FINAL question, Cornette asks Jarrett whether there was a conspiracy between Larry Zbyszko & Jarrett, Jarrett says no but Jim Cornette says that Jarrett has been lying about all of those things. After Jarrett chased Young out of the ring, Cornette said that Jarrett will have a non title match at No Surrender. The match will be a Fan's Revenge Lumberjack stap match where all the fans are armed with straps. Then Cornette says that Jarrett's opponent at No Surrender is gonna be Samoa Joe! Hey Jarrett! At No Surrender, Joe's Gonna Kill You! I'd like to see Joe kill Umaga after he kills Jarrett at No Surrender.

Why are they even having No Surrender at this point? It's become such a stupid throwaway show. Not to mention this "Fan's Revenge" shite is just that...shite. Because all of the armed fans are gonna be fucking plants, but it'll be interesting to see if anybody decides to try and steal a strap or hope the rail here. TNA is trying to be innovative, but this is just a disaster waiting to happen I think. If Joe dosen't pick up the clean win here, it's just yet another shot to his character and push.

While I'm no wrestler I'm also not retarded. And if he's over so much why is he mostly on Heat along with fellow "fan favorites" such as Val Venis and Snitski (yes they are billing him as a face on heat) to do nothing but either lose to one of the regulars of raw who couldn't be fit in that week, or to team up with Jim Duggan (HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!) to get the occasional victory. Every now and then he and Jim come on Raw.

I'll admit when his gimmick had its initial run he was indeed over and had fan support, but now his gimmick has run dry and most don't give a damn about him. Sure some still cheer for him, but if its a choice between jobber or the SS you would cheer for whatever face was there too.

Hey guys, I have a great idea for a new storyline.
Lashley was in the army right? And people get thrown out of the army for being gay right?
So why don't we have Lashley turn gay, come out dressed in full army attire, and start an on screen relationship with Vito?
