Oh god I would love for that to be true. Too Cool were so fun to watch, plus Scotty 2 Hotty needs something to do.

It is time for me to predict Summer Slam. :)
1. Batista def King Booker via DQ: Although Batista is the huge favorite here, I do not see Booker losing the title so fast, Their feud will contine for a while.
2. Chavo def Rey: I see Vickie turning heel and screwing Rey. This feud will also continue.
3. Cena def Edge via STFU: Vince will certainly kiss Cena's ass in his golden boy's hometown.
4. Randy Orton def Hogan: It will be a disaster if Hogan wins. I am tired of watching the old dinosaur going over for no reason, Orton'd better destroy him.
5. Ric Flair def Foley: I do not care about the match, the face will win.
6. DX def Shane and Vince: I see Umaga standing at the McMahons' corner, but the DX will be too good to lose.
7. Lashley def Finlay and Regal: Didn't you know that Lashley was the real deal?
Thoughts?

You ACTUALLY think they're gonna win after all the tricks that the mcmahons pulled? I can just imagine Umaga sneaking up behind them with that nasty thumb.

Either way I'm routing for them

My Sumer Slam Predictions.

WWE Champion Edge vs. John Cena
Sadly, I think Cena will win. To bad, I would love to see Carlito feud with Edge for the belt.

World Heavyweight Champion King Booker vs. Batista
King Booker, the feud will go on a little longer.

D-Generation X vs. The McMahons
DX, it is time they stop the feud and start getting new members, possibly Jeff Hardy.

Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Orton
Randy Orton via RKO.

Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair ("I Quit" Match)
Flair, I expect this to be the best match.

Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero
Chavo, giving him steam to come out of retirement.

ECW World Champion Big Show vs. Sabu
Sabu, I think the belt should go back to an ECW native.

Yeah, Batista is going to win. This is going to be the match of the night.

McMahons vs DX
Thy fued shall end

DX will win, duh. This story is getting old .

Randy vs Hogan
I think Hogan is getting too old

I hope Randy wins, but they say Hogan is undefeated, but Randy hasn't ever lost Summerslam either, hm.

Foley vs Flair
I even made a little drawing of Foley making Flair say I quit via mandible claw. I wish I can show it to you guys but I don't have a scanner

What are you talking about Flair is awesome. The dirtiest player in the game.

Mysterio vs Chavo

Haha, Chavo is going to waste Rey Mysterio literally. Mysterio is going to lose so bad.

Show vs Sabu
ECW ECW ECW ECW. I hope it's extreme rules

Once again I think Big Show will waste Sabu, no offence but Sabu is not at his peek anymore.

I think adding in the storyline of Edge assaulting Cena's father was a stupid and un-needed move. It's overkill in my mind for a fued that really didn't need anymore to it. This was just a last minute thing to make Cena seem more pissed off.

Not sure if this is true or not but...

At Monday night's triple Impact tapings in Orlando, former NWA champion Ron "The Truth" Killings and Monty Brown requested their releases from TNA. Terry Taylor tried to convince both to remain with the company, and at this point, nothing has been decided reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Brown's contract is set to expire soon, and he works as a personal trainer outside the wrestling business. As noted here before, WWE would certainly be interested if he became a free agent.

Killings would have options as well, as "The Truth" is over in Mexico and is wanted by AAA and Vampiro's new promotion, Revolution X Wrestling. There is also a rumor that WWE may consider bringing back Too Cool (Scotty Too Hotty and Brian Lawler), and would entertain the possibility of Killings joining the group. Killings isn't being pushed in TNA, and is upset that he was asked to job to A1 at a recent television taping.

If its true it would a big blow to TNA especially the loss of Killings, the man has been doing nothing for a while yet he remains a fan favorite..

My name is pepeatumi... But you already knew that!

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-08-20 03:07:17

Killings and Brown have both been used as "talented jobbers" lately for the most part, and I'm sure WWE would love to get their hands on them to give TNA a bit of what TNA has been giving them in terms of acquiring disenfranchised stars and pushing them.

As long as WWE doesn't make him be K-Kwick (or however they spelled it) again I would love to see The Truth in WWE. As for a Too Cool remake... eh. Didn't they fire Grandmaster in under a month last time they brought him back? Still Rikishi being back could be a good thing if used properly.

Frogman's Flections for the SD of 8/18/06 (plus other stuff like Summerslam predictions and thought about ECW)

First of all, let me give my thought about ECW. A long time ago I said...

At 8/6/06 07:53 PM, frogman0123 wrote: Last thought for the day...not Smackdown related. Summerslam as we all know is a joint production of Raw and Smackdown (Cena vs. Edge for the WWE Championship, title changes hands on DQ, Booker vs. Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship) so this is my thought...get ECW also involved in the joint production. That way we can see The Big Show vs. Sabu for the ECW Championship.

Little did I know that it would actually be true. I mean I really haven't paid attention to ECW (since I don't have cable) and I missed the last two shows (Sabu vs. Kurt Angle for the #1 contender spot for the ECW Championship, Sabu vs. RVD vs. Kurt Angle for the #1 contender spot for the ECW Championship only to have Angle pulled at the last minute to have it be Sabu vs. RVD) I picked RVD to win and go to Summerslam to face Big Show, but Sabu won. Wow. How fate stabs me in the back.

Also, I am so f'ing pissed off that Scary Spice won the sluta search. She's f'ing ugly as hell. Allright, now time for Frogman's Flections.

Batista vs. Sylvan. What a jobber match. Batista wins in like what...four...five minutes. ghey. I think Batista should have faced The Great Khali in his home town...(reference to Rey Mysterio there).

Sylvester Terkay vs. Scotty 2 Hotty. This was a pretty decent match. Sylvester won without putting Scotty in that nasty submission, otherwise he put Scotty in a secondary finisher and pinned him. Then afterwards he put him in that nasty submission. Can someone say "riding Chris Masters coattails?"

Mr. Kennedy vs. Tatanka. meh, didn't really care for the match...allthough I found it funny how Tatanka yelled at the ref...again. First week, leg underneath the ropes, this week, tights pulled. I sense Tatanka going heel.

Lashley vs. Finlay. Regal pulls the ref from the ring and then attacked Lashley. This is starting to tick me off. Give me a week where Regal and/or Finlay do not attack Lashley. However I found it funny during the end. Lashley supposedly overcame the triple threat, and when they were walking up the rampway, Lashley tosses a chair toward Finlay...which actually hits him. every time I see that re-play I'm laughing my ass off...because it looks funny as hell.

Undertaker vs. The Great Khali. This match was asounding. I thought there were a couple of times Taker should have been down and Khali should have won the match, but I guess that's what you call suspence. I guess this match was going to happen sooner or later, I just wished that it would have been the Punjabi Prison Match (the one at the GAB) instead of the Last Man Standing Match. How'd the Punjabi Prison match look anyway...with Big Show?

Vito vs. some nut jobber (from D.C.?). Meh. What kind of main event is this? I mean come on, a mid-card guy vs. a jobber for Main Event? you can do better SD. Vito is starting to scare me now with his "nasty" submission. I think eventually Vito is going to lose his gimmick and once he does he's going to go ECW.

Lastly, segments that weren't matches. Another Boogeyman video (saw enough allready), MVP (starting to get sick of him...and he's not even on WWE's roster right now :P) and the King Booker/Batista segment at the end. That segment leads me to Summerslam's PPV picks.

ECW World Champion Big Show vs. Sabu (for the title) I don't think they're constantly going to push Big Show with the title, however there really aren't a lot of heels it seems like. It seems like I can't pick one guy over the other here...however I just bought a Sabu shirt not too long ago and because of that I want Sabu to make me prowd, otherwise if Sabu looses...the next time I see him in person I'm going to invest in one of those shirt cannons and shoot my shirt into his face.

Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero. Firstly, Chavo's been retired for about four months. Rey's been the World Heavyweight Champion in those four months. I sense Chavo is going to beat the crap out of Rey Mysterio. If he doesn't, it's going to be another lengthy story of Rey vs. Chavo matches (reference to Rey vs. Eddie there).

Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair (I Quit Match). The last I Quit Match I ever saw was John Cena vs. JBL at Judgement Day 2005 (saw it live...and I must say...holy shit). This match will not be for the feint of heart. And this match is a dream match from what I read somewhere...can't remember where. (Last Man Standing and I Quit in the same week...w00t). BTW, I picked Foley.

Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Orton. I picked Hogan to win just because he hasn't wrestled since Summerslam of last year it looks like, however I think Orton probably will win. I'm still staying with Hulk though.

D-Generation X vs. The McMahons. I picked DX just because The McMahons really don't wrestle and for them to climb the POWER 25 would just be messed up.

World Heavyweight Champion King Booker vs. Batista (for the title) I say King Booker wins. He's been on a roll...that and Batista is saying he never lost his title...so Booker wins and Batista officially loses his title :P.

WWE Champion Edge vs. John Cena (for the title). People are saying Edge is a interim champ. If this is truly true, then Edge will lose once again to Cena. I say Edge successfully defends...that and the storyline of Edge and Lita being the first couple with a championship can continue for a while.

So in review, Sabu, Chavo Guerrero, Mick Foley, Hulk Hogan (allthough it will probably be Randy Orton), D-Generation X, King Booker, and Edge

Time for my Summerslam predictions...

Edge vs John Cena: I'm taking Edge, I know its in Cena's hometown but Jim Ross has taught me that everytime you're in your hometown something bad happens.

King Booker vs Batista: I'm taking Booker T, he finally won the World heavyweight Title and I doubt he'll lose it so soon.

DX vs The Mcmahons: My upset special.... The Mcmahons wins as this boring feud continues.... Umaga will interferre (Gasp!)

Hulk Hogan vs Randy Orton: I'm taking Orton, I'm rooting for Orton but let's be honest, Hogan doesn't job often.

Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero: My scenario would have Rey winning and finally letting Eddie rest in peace... With that said I'm taking Chavo and this feud will probably continue for a while longer.

Mick Foley vs Ric Flair- I'm taking Foley but I don't really care who wins I just want to see a great match.

Big Show vs Sabu... I really want to pick Sabu.... but I'm taking the Big Show, for now.

Did Kane and Nitro ever wrestle for the IC title? If they didn't it could take place tonight, if it does I'm taking Kane.

Also I'm pissed at the WWE... this is the biggest party of the summer... Where's Carlito and Benjamin and Angle and RVD and Taker.... what kind of shitty party is this?

My name is pepeatumi... But you already knew that!

After last weekend's 4-4 showing with the TNA PPV, I hope for a better outcome with tonight's SummerSlam PPV. Here are my predictions:

WWE Title
Edge (c) vs. John Cena
As much as I'd like Cena to win, Edge will come out on top, since they are already pushing a match-up for next month's UNFORGIVEN PPV.

World Title
King Booker (c) vs. Batista
As others have said, I don't see Booker being a transitional champion. If Batista wins, it will probably be by DQ. I wouldn't mind being wrong on this one though.

ECW Title
Big Show (c) vs. Sabu
Big Show will retain with the help of Paul Heyman.

I Quit Match
Ric Flair vs. Mick Foley
This should be a good match. I have to go with Ric Flair here. WOOO!

Legend vs. Legend Killer
Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Orton
Hulkamania runs wild over Randy Orton

Tag-Team Grudge Match
D-Generation X (HBK & HHH) vs. The McMahon's (Vince & Shane)
No reason necessary here. Because if your not down with that, DX has two words for ya.

Singles Match
Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr.
If I'm not mistaken, this is Chavo's first match back since "retiring" after losing his match for the IC title. Unfortunately, Chavo wins and this whole Eddie storyline continues. It'll probably continue up until the one year anniversary of his death.

Intercontinental Championship
Kane vs. Johnny Nitro (c) (if it takes place)
Kane should become the new IC champ.

I don't know if anyone is going to make a recap but here are the quick results for Summerslam...

Edge def John Cena
Batista def Booker T via DQ... I believe Punisher52 predicted that.
DX def the Mcmahons... Kane came out and he and Umaga fought all the way to the back... my guess is Kane will feud with Umaga, even though Kane still is the number contender for the IC ttile.

Hulk Hogan def Randy Orton... Shocking, I know.
Chavo Guerrero def Rey Mysterio
Ric Falir def Mick foley in the I quit match
Big Show def Sabu.

Yeah, I called that one. It was also the only one I lost, which I said I wouldn't mind. So I finished the night 6-1 and 10-5 for the month. The McMahons threw everything but the kitchen sink at DX. Superstars from RAW, SmackDown! and even ECW champion Big Show, but DX weathered the storm for the win.
