I love Sabu, but I hate watching him squash everyone he steps into the ring with week after week. it's boring. I mean, my god, Sabu vs. Samoa Joe at TNA LockDown '06 is one of my favorite matches of all time, even though my least favorite wrestler (Samoa Joe) won, I still think it was a match Sabu fans will remember for all time.

Every Match Sabu has going forward is anything like his match at lockdown '06,. I will simply go gay for the man.

Yes, The McMahons are owning the spotlight on RAW...doing the same thing over...and over...and over. The Spirit Squad looks inept, and so do the Mcmahons by never getting any heat on DX. I'm not saying I want real wrestlers getting beaten up by the owners of the company, but the one-sided nature of these Looney Tunes type skits is getting old, and certainly hurts whatever ability to draw money the Squad has.

Considering the crowd was mostly dead for the Highlanders match I don't think they are ready for the Tag Titles. But with Raw's lack of teams they don't have as many options as they should.

Advertised for the August 27th ECW house shows are both Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle. Assuming no changes are made, this is great news for the ECW brand and it's fans. It will also quash rumors that Angle would not be a long term part of ECW.

Both should be clear of their 30-day suspensions by this date.

And in other news, apparently the Spirit Squad is breaking up (Hurray). Hopefully they'll just lose the tag titles to the Highlanders, blame each other (Irony: The Spirit Squad /losing/ spirit) and the WWE Creative Team can burn all items related to them. Then just try to forget about one of their crappiests gimmicks this year.

I am fine with an open challenge for Batista at GAB. The reality is that he is heading to the Summer Slam as the challenger againstr Booker T. Therefore, his feud at GAB will be 1 time and 1 time only. Even if Henry did not miss the PPV, it will not change the outcome. The best thing the company can do right now is to have Batista look strong in the open challenge and head into SS with huge momentum instead of making up a feud with Lesnar that comes from nowhere.

A SS breakup huh.. Wonder if all five will stay on Raw or will some go to SD. I'll be glad when this cheerleader crap is done and over with.

He's already given a couple of interviews. His real name is Tom Arson, and he's hoping to maybe get into ECW under his own name. He's also filed a trademark on "The ECWZombie" and will be using it on the indies. Smart man.

Also, Mark Henry is out for eight months. He tore his patilla right off the bone, and split his knee in two. So he shan't be back until about March of next year, I hear some fans were not exactly happy with that announcement...the guy finally begins to get over, and suffers a horrific injury that basically guarantees that by the time he gets back his momentum will be fucked.

Damn that sucks. Hope he recovers well. Given the severity of it, maybe he will retire instead of returning.

On the other hand, I was told that both WWE and Sci Fi management were very happy with this week's 2.2 cable rating, given that the show aired an hour later than usual due to the two hour debut of "Eureka", Sci Fi's new series that preceded it. It's interesting to note in the quarter hours that the Undertaker's match didn't draw as well as you would expect, at least until the overrun. The show started at a 2.2, then dropped to a 2.1. The 10:30 and 10:45 quarters, the latter of which was the Taker vs. Big Show match, both drew a 2.0. The show would have done 2.1, which it did for the hour, except that the 2.3 overrun brought it up a tenth of a point. By comparison, the programming that was airing in ECW's slot before the show debuted was averaging less than a 1.0 so ECW on Sci Fi certainly seems like a success.

1.The Naturals vs Matt Bentley & Frankie Kazarian
Shazarian is back in TNA! But where's Traci? When Kazarian was in WWE last year, He was a mainstay on Velocity and was undefeated there. Kazarian left WWE when they wanted him to get a haircut. But now that he's back in TNA, Kazarian has short hair. Matt Bentley returns to TNA after a long absence. The return of Shazarian expands TNA's Fast-Growing Tag Team division. It was a good match to start off iMPACT! After The Naturals won, Shane Douglas came out and said that he wasn't satisfied with The Natural's performance. I'd like to see Bentley & Kazarian feud with AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels for the NWA World Tag Team Championship.
2.Rhino vs Jobber
Rhino squashed to jobber at the end. Then after the match, Samoa Joe comes out to answer Rhino's extreme challenge and Samoa Joe said that him & Rhino will wrestle on next week's iMPACT! But Rhino couldn't wait and said that he wants to face Joe now. When Samoa Joe ran the the ring, Security got involved and seperated both men from each other.
3.AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels segment
Styles & Daniels came out with contracts with the names of TNA's Tag Teams written on them. Then Konnan says that LAX's name isn't on the contracts. But LAX is on one of the contracts. When Christopher Daniels went to the Spanish announce table to make Konnan sign the contract, Konnan said that he dropped then pen then Homicide & Hernandez came out and started attacking Daniels! Then Homicide came to the ring and gave AJ Styles the COP KILLA!!!! Konnan signs the contract with Daniel's blood. Homicide & Hernandez will face AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels for the NWA Tag Team Titles at Hard Justice. Homicide giving AJ Styles the Cop Killa is one of my biggest mark out moments of 2006.
4.Jeff Jarrett vs Jay Lethal
When Jay Lethal pinned A-1 last week, Lethal was granted a title shot at any title he wanted. This week, Lethal chose to go after the NWA World Heavyweight title. Why didn't he choose to go after the X Division Title? Lethal vs Senshi would'ive been good. But instead we got Lethal vs Jarrett for the NWA Heavyweight Title. Jeff Jarrett won at the end. There are rumors that the Sting vs Jarrett match at Hard Justice will take place in the Six Sides of Steel.

Lesnar's ego was the only thing that was out of control, and when he left, NO ONE saw it coming. Lesnar legitimately did not tell anyone about his plans until the big meeting of all the talent before Mania, he completely destroyed a match they had been building and hyping as one of the main events of the show, and turned it into meaningless shit since the fans knew that both guys were leaving, so the match became total shit, and Steve Austin had to stunner both of those prema donnas (Lesnar and Goldberg) to try and salvage something. I shed no tears over Brock Lesnar's many failures since leaving. The way he did it was unprofessional as hell (why could Brock not keep this information till himself until AFTER the show? He couldn't possibly have been so idiotic that he thought it wouldn't hit the internet), and he cost the WWE a lot of money, both on the backend of what it cost to train and develop him, plus produce his merchandise, but he also cost them future revenues in terms of exploiting his name. Brock is someone who it can legitimately be said Vince start to finish created, promoted, and produced. He owes everything to Vince Mcmahon, and he should have been a lot better about showing his gratitude for that.

I only thought him coming back would be a good idea because it might pop a buyrate on a show that is probably going to be embarrassing from a work standpoint, and even more embarrassing from a buyrate standpoint. I'm starting to think the GAB should be done away with completely, because it is just about always WWE's all around worst show of the year, and the biggest reason for that this year is going to be because of the rotten promotion it's gotten, and the fact that the show reeks to me of being just a setup deal for Summerslam (you can't bitch about the Batista match getting fucked, as that's something totally outside of WWE's realm of control...but who looked forward to him killing Henry anyway?). Meh, I'm not much looking forward to any WWE PPV this year anyway, except the ECW shows. I know a lot of people are pissing all over the brand for being so WWE controlled, but I know a lot of the core guys's attitudes and feelings well enough to know that they want this to work, they want to give people a quality product despite the handicaps, and I think when RVD and Kurt Angle get back, when Sci-Fi commits to the show more, and Vince stops demanding it conform to his ideas and commands, and let's it try and find it's own voice and presentation style. The show is going to get better. Yeah, I dunno, it's getting late, I'm rambling, and I think I'm just tired of being pissy and critical of everything in the wrestling business anymore. I guess I'm looking for something to believe in, not an honest product, because nobody in this fucking business is honest, but I guess just something where the guys seem to really give a shot, and I want to support them. So far I can find that product every Tuesday night. Hope that continues.

1.Batista Segment
Theodore Long comes out and says that Mark Henry got injured at Saturday Night's Main Event. Long says that Batista's opponent at the Great American Bash will be Ken Kennedy. Kennedy cut a promo on Batista which led to Batista coming out and confronting him.
2.Kid Kash vs Brian Kendrick
Kash won after him and Noble double teamed Kendrick.
3.Kristal & Michelle McCool vs Ashley & Jillian Hall
Michelle McCool is no stranger to recycled music. Her old theme was used by Jillian Hall and it is currently being used by Kristal. Michelle's current theme is Torrie Wilson's old "You're Not Enough for Me" heel theme. Jillian & The winner of the 2005 Diva search defeated the 2004 & 2005 Diva Search losers. There will be a rematch at the Great American Bash. But it will be a Bra & Panties tag team match.
4.Punjabi Prison Match segment
Daivari talks about the Punjabi Prison Match. He says that the only way to win is by escaping the Prison. Then a clip about the Undertaker/Khali feud plays.
5.Lashley vs Finlay
Lashley won by DQ. William Regal & The Little Bastard got involved in the match.
6.Diva Search Segment 2: Diva Dance Off
For this year's Diva Search, They're doing the eliminations on RAW and they're doing the segments on SmackDown. The next time Miz appears on RAW, I want to see Umaga give him the Samoan Spike and I also want to see Kane set him on fire. I would mark out hard if any of those happened. I can't remember who won but I think JT won.
7.Super Crazy vs Psicosis
Gregory Helms did commentary during the match. The winner will get a shot at the Cruiserweight Title at The Great American Bash. Super Crazy came out to the old Mexicools theme while Psicosis came out with a new theme. It was a good match. The commentators say the WWE Cruiserweight Championship is the most prestigious Cruiserweight title in Sports entertainment. I'm sorry but the Cruiserweight Title isn't the most pretigious cruiserweight championship in North America. The X Division title is the most prestigious Cruiserweight title in North America. The Cruiserweight Championship lost prestige when WWE made Jacqueline & Chavo Classic hold the title. And the belt is losing more prestige because it's rarely defended. Super Crazy won at the end.
8.Rey Mysterio vs King Booker
Rey won with help from Chavo Guerrero.
