As much as I would like Carlito to have some gold, I don't think its gonna happen. Hopefully Lita will fight her style, not the "pulling hair" crap she has been doing in recent matches.

My predictions for three way tag match:
RVD/Sabu vs. Edge/Mick Foley vs. Jogn Cena/Ric Flair

Brunk and Szatkowski are doing drugs? I didn't know that!

In light of the recent arrests of Robert "RVD" Szatkowski and Terry "Sabu" Brunk, it will be interesting to see how WWE handles the matter now that is has been made public. WWE's Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy clearly states that any Talent arrested for possession of drugs is subject to immediate dismissal.

13. DISCIPLINE FOR VIOLATION OF LAW

Any Talent who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of prohibited drugs will be in material breach of contract and subject to immediate dismissal.

Considering that Szatkowski and Brunk are the two biggest stars on the ECW brand, it should be intriguing to see if these individuals are punished or if WWE will contradict their own drug policy by not terminating their contracts.

Like it says RVD and Sabu are ECW's biggest stars so I don't think they'll get fired but something mght happen to them.

18 grams of week and 14 vicodin pain pills to be exact.

Well that pretty much says that RVD will lost the title but i don't think it will be tonight cause i feel that Kurt Angle will interfer to make it a fatal four way at Saturday's Main Event then RVD will lose it then and will handle all this but i don't think neither RVD or Sabu will be fired but more of a suspension without pay.

... Well RVD did lose the title and Edge is now the new WWE champion. I'm hoping that this was the end of the whole ECW/WWE angle and that from now on RVD will feud with ECW talent for the ECW title.

wait a minute, I thought that triple threat match was going to be for a saturday night show.. And RVD lost the title, which sucks. Oh well at least it wasn't to Cena.

Think RVD will lose his ECW title tuesday? If the drug story proves true no telling what wwe will do.

My guess is that Sabu was scheduled to be RVD's partner and that becaue of the incident there was a change of plans. The WWE wasn't going to fire RVD or Sabu so they did what they could Sabu wasn't a part of Raw and RVD lost the title but like you said at least Cena didn't win it.

No. I think this could ultimately be a blessing in disguise because now ECW can go on their own path without any WWE/ECW angle.

I just saw the clip of Edge winning. I'm a little disapoidted RVD lost, but I'm happy Cena didn't win.

Did anyone see the reaction on that kid's face when Cena lost? Can anyone grab a picture of it? It was so damn funny.

Amen to that. But, I wonder if that had anything to do with that drug story...

rofl to that. I thought that was fucking hilarious. I mean, the kid was like blank-faced. It was like his jaw hit the floor. Sorry, I don't have a picture of that, but...oh man, that was a big relief that Cena didn't win.

Yeah, Edge gets his big push at last. But, I wonder how long it will last...

For those wondering, the story I'm hearing is that the match was indeed changed so that RVD would drop the belt due to the drug charges. The show was heavily re-written today, and I imagine this will change Saturday Night's Main Event a bit, since this was originally going to happen there. With WWE thinking that they could pop a rating for RVD dropping the belt.

The ECW website has not been updated yet to reflect any changes for tommorow's broadcast so I must assume RVD is still set to wrestle Edge for the belt, unless WWE plans to do something to get the ECW title away from Van Dam, but considering how new the brand is, I think WWE saying they are "investigating" the matter is tantamount to them hopeing they can sidestep the problem. Certainly WWE was not unaware of RVD's useage of Marijuana as RVD is very public about such activities. As for the other stuff...I was unaware of it, and frankly I'm a bit pissed off at both he and Sabu because they are the top two guys in ECW right now, with Kurt Angle out, that is an unquestionable fact. They have not only hurt themselves here, but they have hurt the ECW brand possibly, and I'm angry that they would be this stupid. Hopefully this will all blow over.

Well seeing how the match didn't happen it is kind of pointless. I said Flair because Edge would most likely pick Foley for his partner, and Flair would want pay back for getting bloodied up at Vengeance.

I'll keep trying to find a picture of that kid.

It is great that Edge is finally on top. But there is still a great chance that Vince is going to give the title back to Cena and screw Edge like he did last night 3 weeks after NYR. After all, Summer Slam will be Cena's home court.

No Recaps? I missed a lot of the show, I missed the highlanders debut, and everything but Carlito's Match, all DX stunts and Cena vs. Edge vs. RVD, Edge Won! Yay! I really like RVD having the championship, but he' ECW, not WWE anymore, but I'm sure we'll see him back on Raw, does anyone know if his RAW contract expired? And if so, When?

I haven't watched the Do FIxer vs Florida Brothers match yet. As for the other one it was a bit of a comedy match quite frankly I didn;t know what the hell was going on but it was entertaining.

As for ECW... I know things look bad but I'm not ready to put the nail in the coffin just yet. I can't help but feel that ECW still has some gas left in the tank.

.... Or maybe ECW really is done.

The title situation and ECW show tonight is most likely a complete mess. There is no doubt that WWE did not plan on RVD losing his title(s) last night. While he still held onto the ECW Championship, he lost the WWE Championship to Edge. The most telling sign that RVD was not supposed to lose the title last night is on ECW.com where they still have a BIG advertisement that states:

Extreme Rules Match: For the ECW & WWE Championships with a photo of Edge & RVD.

So obviously, with tonight being ECW's one big shot at running solo and in one of their largest markets, WWE had planned on RVD being put over strong. Also, you will notice that there was no mention of Sabu last night on WWE. Just another indication of how WWE has already possibly hit the panic button when it comes to these two. They have however, updated ECW.com with the news of the arrests of both RVD and Sabu and have added a short blob about Edge winning the title last night that reads the following:

During the Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship on RAW, John Cena hit RVD with an FU and appeared to be on his way to winning gold. However, Edge nailed Cena with the WWE Championship belt and then covered the already fallen RVD for the victory.

The Preview for tonight still reads that Edge will face RVD For the WWE & ECW Titles. I guess you could assume that RVD vs Edge is still on for tonight with each one of them putting up their belts - that way WWE doesn't have to backtrack from the Main Event they have been advertising for over a week.

However, with all of this going on, you better believe WWE is being very cautious with both Sabu and RVD. WWE won't be able to accord any special treatment to the two superstars and may have to set an example with the both of them that they are not going to allow drugs into their locker room. It will be interesting to see what happens, but you better believe that ECW is hanging by a lifeline right now with Sabu and RVD's futures in the balance. Without those two, ECW is void of any major superstar while Kurt Angle is away on hiatus. Added to that, ECW would be without any true "ECW Original" leader. In the end, it may not be Vince McMahon that brought ECW down, but two of it's very own for their stupidity this past weekend.

I don't even know what to say about this because unless something incredible happens I have to say that ECW is done... for good.

THE TITLE IS HOME! HOOORAY!

okay, I'm guessing RVD loosing the title is punishment for the charges, but I don't know what will happen to Sabu. I do know that the WWE has always been great at rolling with the punches...

BTW, Highlanders were great last night! I approve!

There is a way they can be punished without being taken off ECW ans that would be... for them to work without pay for a while they continue with storylines and then after a while they'll get paid again. I just don't think that Vince will just pull the plug on ECW but when it comes to Vince who really knows what he may be thinking?

Some ECW news to report...

The last we heard was that a decision as to whether Edge vs. RVD would take place tonight had not been made as of late last night.

We can also confirm that a major meeting was held today on how to proceed with ECW. Sabu and RVD were the two guys the company was being pushed around.

Sabu was pulled from RAW last night.

The marijuana charges, because of the small amount found, are not serious and will probably at most require a small fine in the $100 range.

Its good to know that at least they won't face any jailtime.

And this is more like spoilers for tonight's ECW.... And yes Kelly is going to show up again...

From ECW.com:

Last night on RAW, Edge captured the WWE Championship by defeating Rob Van Dam in a Triple Threat Match. As a result of last night's show, the state of tonight's edition of ECW on Sci Fi is up in the air.

ECW.com has learned that ECW representative Paul Heyman will address the status of the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, which as of this moment is still held by Rob Van Dam.

Also, ECW.com can confirm that vivacious exhibitionist Kelly is promising to provide a special salute to America on this 4th of July.

I pulled this off the WWE website, it's further investigates the charges against RVD and Sabu.

also on WWE.com, It says that this week on Smackdown!, there will be a #1 Contender Battle Royale for Heavyweight tilte match at The Great American Bash. I've heard that the winner of this Battle Royale will be Mark Henry, who will go on to winn the Belt at GAB. Gawd, I hope not.
