When you're done watching the Samoa Joe vs Jack Evans vs Delrious vs Ebessan match, You should watch the Do Fixer vs Florida Brothers match. The Do Fixer vs Florida Brothers match is also on Page 465.

All the matches were great, dont get me wrong. But I really liked the Fans bring there own weapons match the most. I wish I could find a federation that has those type of matches. I'd bring ....hell, I dunno. But I'd bring something. Nothing beats having your favorite wrestler beat the crap outta his opponent with a weapon you gave them.

Reminds me of the old ECW...(sniff, sob) I miss the good ol' days....

I almost went to an indi show where they had a bring your own weapons match, and I would have gone if work hadn't gotten in the way.

The only scheduled match that features John Cena in WWE championship bout would be the one that will take place at Saturday Night's Main Event which would mean he would have to win it at this event. (Thanks to reader Nate for sending that along.)"

Long as RVD dosen't have to get pinned or forced to tap to that stupid hold (though I give Cena credit for getting better with it, because when he slapped it on RVD last monday, it did look like there was no getting out of it), I could care less. I only watch ECW now, as the other shows just don't have characters I care about. Which I think above everything else has been the biggest turn off to me of late in watching the current WWE shows, I just do not have the emotional connection with these people I do with the ECW alums. Granted, that transcends simple character, I mean, hell I'm pretty much at the point where if they give me one or two solid matches a week, I will except anything else on the show as the price to pay for that, and for these guys who worked so damn hard for nothing to entertain me, work a little less hard, and get a lot more money. People can say what they want about me for that, or the guys for that, but if you've really followed them, and you really understand how special the original ECW connection was for us, well, I think you'd see what I'm talking about.

Hopefully RVD clean beats Edge as well on Tuesday, but I doubt it. Also, Doug Basham is apparently in ECW now, as he's being advertised for next week's house shows.

Bashum? Those guys are still with wwe? I thought they were gone by now. Well one apparently isn't, Danny is still nowhere in sight.

There has to be a few on raw or Sd that you still like to watch avie, they just get lost in it all. Take Carlito and Benjamin. Those guys can work like hell and are great characters. It's just that the mid card keeps geting so jumbled and pushed to the side by stupid McMahon ideas like the Spirit Squad.

I had thought they'd have been released awhile ago, but no, apparently they've been working heat and velocity respectively, or just sitting on their asses.

It's also that the wrestling is pushed aside. I like Carlito, I like Shelton, but these guys get to do so little, and there's nothing really in terms of mid-card stories anymore. If you buy a PPV, it's being sold solely on the main events, and when a show is 35, or now 40 bucks, I need to to top to bottom give a damn. That just dosen't happen anymore, so after awhile it feels like "what's the point? They need to change the approach before I get invested again"

It is just sad to see that Vince is about to give the spinning belt back to Cena. Didn't he notice that the fans will boo Cena to heel once he wins the title back and root for him once he does not have it? From the fact that the spinning belt was not destroyed, it was convient to see that it is just a matter of time before winning it back. Oh, plus Summer Slam will be at Boston --- Cena's home court. I am sorry For Edge who got screwed after NYR, he works hard and deserve the title 100000 times more than Cena. Vince is ruining the company.

From what I keep hearing Kali is next to worthless in the ring.

Neither Basham was on heat or velocity in the longest time so maybe they were in OVW.

Its not just people saying that he's horrible its a fact that Khali is worthless if you've seen him beat up on the cruiserweights you've pretty much seen all his moves and you can't forget about his mic skills or lack thereof.

Well the latest ECW house show has come and passed, I've read two reports, and one was very positive, the other was pretty negative, but there were a couple things that were agreed upon:

-Fertig stills sucks, but CM Punk made a good accounting of himself in the bout and got over with the crowd who largely were unsure of who he was. Punk continues to use his ROH music.

-Big Show was very bad against RVD, their styles just don't fricking work together. Big Show got a mixed reaction, as opposed to the overwhelmingly nasty reaction he got at the ECW Arena.

-Doring and Roadkill vs. The FBI continues to be a fun match on the house show circuit, and I think the fans enjoy having something that's so old school ECW. FBI were the faces in this one, and were victorious.

-Sabu continues to be over huge with the crowd, but CW Anderson is also remembered by many of the old school followers. Get that fucking guy on TV WWE!!!!

-Sandman and Credible had a longer bout this time then they did in Philly. Credible didn't get a huge amount of offense, but was said to look better then the jobber we saw against Angle. He also continues to use "Snap your fingers, snap your neck" as his entrance theme.

-Mike Knox is hated, but it sounds more like in a "you don't belong here" sort of way. Lots of "You can't wrestle" chants, but many said the kid looked good here, and I agree I think he's got some decent skills, it's just that nobody likes the new guy at first in a situation like this.

-Test is HUGE, it was capsed like that in both reports. This lead to "Steroids" chants, and Tommy Dreamer at one point during their bout made motions of injecting himself in the ass with a steroid needle.

-Paul E. didn't make his scheduled appearance. Not sure if we should read anything into that or not, and I advise against doing so until we have some further information as to why he may not have showed up.

CM Punk got another great reaction because they can wrestle and he can win fans over with relative ease... meaning we won't see him on ECW TV anytime soon.

Test is huge huh? I wouldn't be all that surprised if he did use steroids, but hey, good for him if he did it the natural way.

Why has CM Punk not hit the big time yet? I've seen his matches on YouTube, he's been wrestling for ages yet he doesn't get an opportunity in the WWE.

today's RAW seems interesting, but I don't feel like doing a THIS WEEK ON RAW! type deal. just expect to see:

~RVD, John Cena, and Edge in a "Pick Your Partner Triple Threat Tag Team Match" (that's a mouthful)

~DX banned from the arena (but I'm positive they'll make their presence know anyway.

~The Debut of Rory and Robbie McAllister; THE HIGHLANDERS!

~ other zaniness, perhaps a sexy diva's match, Carlito being cool and what not.

I don't know if this is true but I have to post it... No one gets higher than RVD or Sabu.

The following is an article from The Ironton Tribune (irontontribune.com)

Wrestling stars busted in Hanging Rock
By Kirsten Stanley/The Ironton Tribune

HANGING ROCK ? Two wrestling superstars from Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment may be tough in the ring, but they didn't have enough muscle to escape drug charges after being stopped Sunday night by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Robert Alex Szatowski, aka WWE and ECW champion Rob Van Dam, and Terry Michael Brunk, aka Sabu, also a former ECW champion, were pulled over on U.S. 52, near Patrick Street in Hanging Rock at about 10:15 p.m. The two were apparently driving from their performances at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena earlier in the evening.

According to the OSHP, Szatowski was initially stopped for speeding. When troopers approached his vehicle, they smelled marijuana and performed a search. Troopers found the wrestler in possession of 18 grams of marijuana and five Vicodin, prescription pain pills. Brunk was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and also had nine pills that were not immediately identifiable, but were known to be controlled substances, according to the OSHP. Both were cited and posted bond at the scene.

Szatowski, of Battle Creek, Mich., has had a long, successful career with both the WWE and ECW. In addition to being the current champion of both, he has been intercontinental champion six times, hardcore champion four times and has been a part of several championship tag team duos.

He is scheduled to wrestle tonight on WWE Raw and is also wrestling Tuesday night to retain his WWE and ECW titles during the "Extreme Rules Match" on the Sci-Fi channel.

Both Brunk and Szatowski are scheduled to appear at 10 a.m. Thursday in Ironton Municipal Court. Both wrestlers won their matches last night in Huntington, W.Va. Van Dam defeated the Big Show and Sabu defeated Justin Credible.

While one could make RVD jokes all day long its not all fun and games.

In light of the recent arrests of Robert "RVD" Szatkowski and Terry "Sabu" Brunk, it will be interesting to see how WWE handles the matter now that is has been made public. WWE's Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy clearly states that any Talent arrested for possession of drugs is subject to immediate dismissal.

13. DISCIPLINE FOR VIOLATION OF LAW

Any Talent who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of prohibited drugs will be in material breach of contract and subject to immediate dismissal.

Considering that Szatkowski and Brunk are the two biggest stars on the ECW brand, it should be intriguing to see if these individuals are punished or if WWE will contradict their own drug policy by not terminating their contracts.

Like it says RVD and Sabu are ECW's biggest stars so I don't think they'll get fired but something mght happen to them.

Sorry for the double post but I forgot to add a couple of things. Sabu and RVD are both eligible to compete tonight and tomorrow. I'm guessing Sabu will be RVD's partner tonight speaking of RAW here's a couple of matches confirmed for tonight.

Tonight on RAW:

Pick Your Partner Triple Threat Match
RVD & ? vs. John Cena & ? vs. Edge & ?

Intercontinental Title:
Johnny Nitro vs. Carlito

That's right... Carlito will actually compete on RAW tonight... Here's hoping he wins the IC title.

Women's Match:
Torrie Wilson vs. Lita

WOW!! This is actually good news. Lita can actually wrestle maybe this means she'll go back to wrestling full-time.

The Highlanders make their debut.

I've liked their promos so far but I have to see them in the ring before I'm completely sold on them

D-X is banned from the building.

Sure.... DX won't show up tonight on RAW.
