As for Henry, hey, SD! is hurting for heels desperately, Henry may not draw money, or be that good...but he's somewhat established, it's also possible Meltzer got his facts wrong, but given the way Henry has been getting pushed of late, I'm not entirely surprised he was re-signed.

Hi Peoples. I’m new here and I was wondering if I could join your gang.

I’m a fairly new fan to wrestling. I’m Huge Rey Mysterio Fan. Well Actually I like all the cruiserweights. I think Bobby Lashley is kicking some serious ass and I hope it continues. I can’t wait to see where the Kane (May 19th) thing is leading. That would be a smackdown show won’t it?

Anyways, Over here in Australia, We don’t get TNA (well not yet) so I’ve never seen any of that, and I’ve never seen any ECW. I’ve only seen WWE so I was wondering what you thought of the others. Which one is better and why? I bet I’m missing out on a lot.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-05-08 10:38:09

TNA has a lot more pure athletes than the WWE does so it's easy to say that watching a match in TNA is normally much more entertaining than watching a match on Raw or SD! However, the storylines in TNA tend to get stale and they are slowly becoming a clone of the old WCW. They seem to keep digging up all of the has-beens such as Lex Luger, Scott and Rick Steiner, and Sting.

ECW has not yet made it's revival but when it does, I have a feeling it will be much better than TNA or WWE. You mentioned that you have never seen ECW. I recommend that you visit youtube.com and search for ECW matches. You really are missing quite a few gems in wrestling history.

While you're at you tube, you should search AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, or Samoa Joe. That might give you an idea of the X-Division.

Ninjara you are # 210. Welcome to the club!

While it's a never say never kind of thing with wwe, it's still seems that way with Jeff. If he couldn't handle TNA's scheduel what makes you think he wants to go back to wwe's hectic one? But hey like I said it can happen. And honestly if Jeff were to come back I would be pretty happy about it. He is damn good that's for sure.

I think Jeff Hardy coming back to the WWE would be good especially if he's put on the new ECW brand.

I just read somewhere that Jimmy Yang is coming back to the WWE, he's signed and will come back when he's finished touring or something.
Good news?

Well for the first time in a while Smackdown maybe be getting some good news.

Batista made an appearance last night for a MCW show in Maryland. Fan reports say he looked great and a return to WWE is just around the corner.

Hopefully Batista's return will help Smackdown because their roster is getting thinner each week.

This is supposedly a major spoiler but it doens't name a source so I don't know if it can be trusted.

The following is a big spoiler. You've been warned.

Mick Foley is expected to turn heel either tonight or in the next week or so. WWE management and Foley himself feel that his current act has grown stale. That is all that is known at this time.

If that is true, I'd welcome it, and not be too surprised. He sounded pretty bad-ass when he was finishing his speech against Edge last week, lol.

Like I said there was no source so I don't know if its true but if it s I think it would be the first time that Foley's a heel since his days as Mankind.

I was at the show. I live in Baltimore, Maryland and got my picture taken with Batista. I talked to him a little bit and asked him when he'd be back. His answer was: "Late July!" I heard it from the man's own mouth. He says that his recovery is on schedule and he is ready to come back and "kick JBL's ass". Those were his words as well which tell me that JBL isn't too far from winning the championship.

Well Raw tonight is shaping up to be pretty good.

Tonight on RAW:

Mick Foley vs. Edge - Hardcore Rules. Expect them to try to top WrestleMania 22 and a possible Foley heel turn.

Rob Van Dam defends the IC title against Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, and Chris Masters.

Maria w/ Trish Stratus (injured an can't work) takes on Mickie James.

Kane vs. The Big Show

Jim Ross returns to RAW full-time.

Expect an ECW announcement.

Maybe RVD will drop the IC title tonight in to order to go with an ECW angle. My only question is why the hell isn't Carlito in the IC title match? That's Not Cool!

I'd like to see Haas win the IC title tonight and begin a feud with Shelton. I wouldn't be suprised if the WWE gives Masters the title to make hs resume seem more impressive.

I am eager to see who the member's of HBK's DX would be. Obviously, my prediction of Cena being a member of the new DX would come true.

P.S. Any body know when Shannon Moore Is Slated to make his WWE (re-)debut?

Carlito is not the IC Champion because he is not cool enough to have it. He lost to freaking Wrinkle Flair. Carlito can't even take down Spike Dudley.

I'm not saying he should win it just that he should be in the match. Anyways some more Raw news?

Dave Scherer is reporting that there is a cage backstage at RAW tonight.

We're not sure where this will be used but it could involve Foley/Edge s these two are expected to go nuts.

Don't know if that's true but that hardcore match is shaping up to be a good one.

Some BIG Raw news.
ECW fans try not to have a heart attack.

Dave Scherer is now reporting that the Hardcore Match featuring Edge and Mick Foley will turn into a three-way match featuring TOMMY DREAMER.

This is likely the start of a Foley heel turn and to further the ECW angle.

why turn foley heel when fans like to love him? And besides he isn't full time anymore so why change it? We'll just have to see what happens.

Sorry for the double post but I have a couple of questions?

1. Did anyone else notice that you could see the blade that Dreamer used to cut himself on the mat?

2, Didn't Dreamer and Foley have feud in ECW? Because if they did it would make sense as to why Foley turned on him.

SmackDown Superstars Batista and Booker T got into a knockdown, drag-out fight Monday afternoon on the set of World Wrestling Entertainment's SummerSlam commercial shoot in Encino, California. Director of WWE Television Promotions, John Gaburick, tells WWE.com the fight broke out during the filming of a scene in the commercial which will be used to promote SummerSlam later this year. "The fight lasted at least five minutes, it was a brutal, bloody, vicious affair," says Gaburick. "It took JBL, Mark Henry, Chris Benoit, Finlay and road agent Ricky Steamboat to finally break things up."

Gaburick says, "Both men were banged up pretty good, both men were bloodied up." After the fight, Booker T and Batista went behind closed doors to try and clear the air. Gaburick says both Booker T and Batista finished their required work on the commercial before leaving the set. When asked what the fight was about, Gaburick would only say "it's a personal issue between two men."

all I can say about that is.... wtf.. I just hope that neither get fired as that would be a big loss for the company.. assuming that this is a real fight and not a gimmick.
