As stands, they're not even sure how TV is going to work yet, it looks like at first they'll probably only have the June shows as PPV, and then everything else will be in a "let's see how it does" sort of deal at first, kind of like how the "brand extension" evolved I would imagine

you don't have too be a baby-face or a nice guy to be a face, just pick on heel wrestlers.

I hope you guys like my speical edition of "Redface Says" with the LockDown reveiw, I hope to do it again, probably with backlash. Who will win the coveted "Redface Best Match Of The Night Award"?

I'll save you some time the best match will be the Shelton Benjamin-RVD match that's a no-brainer.

RVD - Shelton Benjamin will not be the best match at Backlash... McMahons vs God/HBK is going to be match of the night..............but seriously im hopin for hhh vs edge vs. cena to provide some amazing moments

It seems WWE officials have started contacting smaller arenas trying to book house shows for July meaning that will probably be when ECW comes back full-time. The Sandman, Balls Mahoney, Francine, Lance Storm and Justin Credible have talked or been offered contracts by the WWE. I'm pretty sure Balls Mahoney will be signed I saw him on Saturday wrestling in Puerto Rico but he's not under contract so there's a good chance he'll be back with ECW.

HeartbreakHoldout, the reason why Cena is likely to retain is because WWE is likely have RVD winning the belt from him as a set up for him to turn heel. You do not have to believe me, just wait and see.

I believe you, I hope. I still think they should just fire Cena.

Firing him is a bit drastic. He hasn't misbehaved (often) behind the scenes, and he seems to get along pretty well with the rest of the roster. Not to mention that he's a bit of a big draw for the women and children demographic. Only thing wrong with him is holding the main belt, and for a long time, at that. He makes a decent mid-carder.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-04-25 23:39:03

I wouldn't hate Cena nearly as much if he was a heel. I must state my frustration with Orton's suspension, however. He was my favorite wrestler, and I am a huge mark for most good heels. Now, there are no good heels on SD! Fuck JBL. He may be a wrestling god, but he's no Legend Killer. Dominant Heel, where art thou?

Cena still has markettability, and potential down the road, the problem here is that we've got someone that is still very rough in terms of ring work, being pushed as the next huge babyface down our throats. It never works, but WWE seems to think that's a good way to get a guy over. Let Cena drop the belt, turn heel, settle into a more middle of the card position, and see what happens. I think he can eventually get to the point they want him to get to.

WWE has stuck with Cena longer than I thought they would, especially after the fans really started to boo him. Small wonder he still has the belt.

I just hope wwe gets more ecw stars to their name to help out their plan. Wonder if they will contact Mikey Whipwreck.. or get the Blue Meanie, Whom I found out through his blog that he nearly died from some sort of lung infection and had to have part of it removed. You can read about it here

Here's some news about ECW.

Credit: PWInsider.com

A WWE vs. ECW Head to Head special is planned to go ahead on the USA Network during the week of the second ECW One Night Stand PPV. It has been said that the special event will likely be taped on June 7 in Dayton, Ohio, which was scheduled to be a SmackDown taping at one point. No date has been announced for the WWE vs. ECW Head to Head special.

And a bot more ECW news.
- The USA Network has the 6/7 9PM-11PM ET timeslot listed as "To Be Announced" right now. As reported earlier, WWE is scheduled to have a WWE vs. ECW Head to Head Special taping in Dayton, OH that night. The show will air live on 6/7.

- Interestingly enough, the Saturday 2AM replay of AM RAW timeslot is being listed as "To Be Announced" for the entire month of June. Many have speculated that WWE might put an ECW show in that timeslot.

Am Raw is at 9 but the replay is at 2 in the morning and if its ECW I wouldn't be surprised if its shown late.

I'd like to see some Sabu matches, and maybe some early dudley boys.

I'm still on a Sabu High after watching "Sabu vs Samoa Joe", I'm gettin' that DVD, dude.

definatly look for some more sabu matches. He really tears the house down. He and RVD have had some really great matches against each other and also taging with each other as well. There are some really good sabu matches on the blood sport dvd and a few featured on the RVD dvd as well.

JBL definately can talk. Maybe you hate him, but you have to admit that he is good at mic skills. He had his time as the WWE champion already, (10 months) I doubt that he will win a major title again. No need to worry about RO, he is likely to go to the title picture again once his suspension is over. Summer Slam could be his destiny time. (I am still rooting for WWE to give UT a last title run although.)

woozie1 you are # 208 welcome to the club!

JBL fulfills his role as a heel very well in one respect: You really want someone to beat the crap out of him and shut him up.

Cuz they're lighter, Could you imagine The Big Show doing a seated senton off of the top ropes?

If anyone wants to see Sabu matches go to youtube and type Sabu in the searchbar you'll get some good matches incliding the Barbed wire Massacre against Abyss and some classic Sabu matches against RVD and also teaming up with Van Dam.

4-W is speculating on RVD's possible PPV opponent. They believe that it might actually turn out to be JBL. JBL has just started a feud with Rey and Angle, and it might result in JBL winning the WHC from Rey, instead of Kane, which makes me wonder what will become of the U.S. Championship. This goes along with the rumor that JBL is going to lead another feud against ECW, in which case RVD could possibly fight JBL at the PPV. Assuming that the MITB applies to the main titles of both brands, RVD might become the WHC instead of the WWEC.

Of course, this is only 4-W's theory, not mine. I think it's too early to tell, and there are some things that would then be left unexplained.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-04-28 00:36:38

Unless they are willing to unify the belts, it becomes a situation whereby the double champion forfeits the lower title upon winning the higher belt (in this case, JBL would drop the U.S. title either in a match, or via the fact that he simply can't hold the two belts at once for any period of time). It's WWE's discretion on that one.

LordKooler's TNA iMPACT! review
1.Abyss vs Rhino
Abyss comes out with the NWA World Heavyweight Championship altough Chistian Cage is still champion. Abyss defeated Rhino after Bobby Roode attacked Rhino. Christian Cage came out and said that his match against Abyss at Sacrifice will be a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match.
2.Alex Shelley & Sonjay Dutt vs Hirooki Goto & Minoru Tanaka
The first match of the World X Cup. Hirooki Goto & Minoru Tanaka are New Japan Pro Wrestling's hottest Junior Heavyweights. They came out with Black Tiger IV who is also a dominant wrestler in NJPW's Junior Heavyweight division. I'm surprised that Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tiger Mask IV aren't on Team Japan. Rocky Romero is the fourth person to play Black Tiger. The Black Tiger gimmick was created by New Japan in the early 1980's to oppose the man who played Tiger Mask at the time. Black Tiger has always been portrayed by Foreign wrestlers. British wrestler Mark Rocco was the first Black Tiger. Eddie Guerrero was the second Black Tiger, and Silver King was the third Black Tiger. Jushin Liger will be the leader of Team Japan. Dutt & Shelley won at the end and Team USA gets 2 points in the World X Cup.
3.Samoa Joe vs Jay Lethal
Samoa Joe squashed Jay Lethal at the end.
4.Sting segment
A game show segment where Sting tells Jarrett to pick Tunnel No.1 or Tunnel No.2. Buff Bagwell & Lex Luger come out of both tunnels. Who will be Sting's partner at Sacrifice? Buff Bagwell or Lex Luger?

oh god, they brought back luger? I thought (and hoped) he was gone from wrestling. Ugh, just when I thought TNA was getting it's act together they go out and get a has-been like him.
