I like the SS skills, I just don't like the gimmick. Dragging your ass across the ring like a dog is a great way to lose my respect.

It doesn't suprise me people backstage were angry, a lot of wrestlers are born again christians.

I too was surprised by the Edge deal, but if it isn't going to be Rey, Edge would be good to use, I really feel he's the only non-ECW star the fans could accept being there with a WWE belt, without pelting him with crap, or doing a lot of "get the fuck out!" sort of chants. I also don't believe the poll will influence Vince's decisions, I'm just saying it seemed odd to me when you get a poll in a place that (I always assumed anyway) ECW fans were still visiting regularly, that they'd choose to have a WWE guy at that show, when it could be an ECW guy instead.

Also, there's a promotional interview for ONS with Tommy Dreamer at this link: http://www.ecw.com/s..eamer_interview.html
decent way to spend five minutes, nothing revelatory in here, but I always enjoy Tommy's unabased love for ECW.

Oh, and Red? You wanna steal my gimmicks, you pay me the "theft fee" on that...I'll expect a hundred dollars in my unmarked swiss account by this time tommorow. Speaking of "Talking TNA" I really need to try and get back into the groove of that. Mike Johnson did a good recap after the first episode of it, hopefully he continues with them.

I used to do a segment on this thread called "Random Thoughts by COTC", but then I'd usually forget what all of my thoughts were until after submitting a post, so I stopped doing it.

I was watching the best of Raven last night and I noticed something. Whenever you get a dvd from wwe they have an inskippable segment saying don't try this at home, while TNA does not. Sure they said it during the commentary once but I still find that to be a bit odd.

oh give me a break! Vince is getting his own dvd put out... The man's ego is just too freakin much.
go here for the story about it.

The blue and black one with a corny voiceover? We get that here instead of the endless breaks you Americans get on Smackdown. Raw's live though, so we get all the crappy breaks that you do :(

Looks quite interesting, it documents the history of his feuds with WCW and stuff, has an interview with Heyman. I still won't buy it, no point wasting my money.

I think TNA dosen't have the warning because TNA has not, and I highly doubt will ever be attacked in the way Vince has been in the past. Vince runs in prime time, and was running a more violent and raunchy product in that time slot once upon a time. Not to mention he was getting a lot of popularity, so of course the media decided to whip his ass about the violence whenever they had a slow news day (and still will in some cases), so he's merely protecting himself by being able to say "no, I do put warning labels on stuff saying these guys are trained and should not be imitated.

WWE.com have changed the preview for this Monday's episode of Raw. The original preview read...

"Just one week before Backlash, Mr. McMahon has offered his only begotten son Shane as a sacrifice in a Handicap Match this Monday night on RAW when he takes on HBK and his tag team partner - God."

The updated preview reads this...

While flying over the Atlantic Ocean Thursday afternoon, Mr. McMahon had an epiphany. The Chairman will no longer be sacrificing his son Shane in a Handicap Match against HBK and "God" this Monday night. Instead, his son Shane will be facing HBK in one-on-one action on RAW.

When news broke out that Shane McMahon would be sacrificed on Raw, it did cause quite a bit of controversy.

LordKooler's TNA iMPACT review
1.Bobby Roode & A-1 & Eric Young of Team Canada vs Chris Sabin & Sonjay Dutt & Jay Lethal
This match was like a preview of the World X Cup. Team Canada won at the end.
2.Rhino & AJ Styles & Ron Killings vs The Diamonds in the Rough
Rhino, Styles, and Killings won at the end.
3.Christian Cage segment
Christian Cage talks about his match against Abyss at Lockdown. Then Abyss comes out and attacks Christian Cage.
4.Team 3D vs Jeff Jarrett & America's most wanted
Spike Dudley's TNA debut. After the match, Sting's Warriors & Jarrett's Army got involved in a big brawl.

Missed TNA tonight...do they still do Monday replays? Or has the time slot shifted to Saturday nights now?

Maybe they wanted to give him a name of the same calibur as his in ring talent. If so, maybe they should have simply called him Brother Worthless.

I don't mean to piss anyone off. This is just my opinion in the form of a lame joke.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-04-21 19:24:48

Brother Runt? He's still Spike Dudley to me and its still the Dudley Boyz not Team 3D.

My name is pepeatumi... But you already knew that!

"Redface says"- How TNA Can Improve it's self

First of, LET'S MAKE TNA LOOOOONGER.

Making TNA at least a half an hour longer will give it a chance to add more matches to the fight card (making all the blather that much more tolerable) and give it a chanceto show cas ALL of it's talent. (any body here besides me miss Jeff hardy and Lance Hoyt?)

another thing TNA could do is open up another brand (ala Smackdown! and RAW) TNA could profit from the advertisments for both shows, and also, again, open up another oppertunity to give it's entire roster a full workout.

DAMN Khali is huge! You couldn't really grasp how big he was when he was with the Undertaker, since the Undertaker is so big, but compared to Funaki...wow, lol. I hope they use this guy as more than just a battering ram. I'm looking forward to seeing him actually wrestle, as opposed to just hitting his opponents like twice and beating them.
