Funny thing is he didn't qualify for the Olympics. I've watched the strongest man olympics 4 times and he is never on any of the matches. My favorite is where they have to lift 5 poles to the top.

Major Backstage News On Edge-Lita Segment

The "Live Sex Celebration" on RAW last week featuring new WWE Champion Edge and Lita was something that neither were especially comfortable with according to some new reports. It should be noted that there are no indications that they put up any kind of resistance to going forward with the segment.

What might have made things a little uncomfortable however is that Adam "Edge" Copeland recently reconciled with his wife, whom he cheated on with Amy "Lita" Dumas early last year. After a very public breakup between the two took place, including some very powerful words about Copeland from his wife that hit the internet where she accused him of taking steroids, they have since worked to rebuild their relationship in the last few months.

Many people close to the situation both in WWE and close friends have stated that the relationship between Copeland and Dumas never fully continued because of the stress that took place after it was made public all over the internet. The combination of Matt Hardy making the story public, getting released by WWE (which did bother Dumas) and the "whispering" in the workplace every week caused the relationship to not last very long.

It is no secret that Lita has a reputation for being a very private person. Says one WWE source, "She knows she's got a great character who can be a successful heel for a long time to come. The problem is, to cash in she has to play into being a slut, and so she has mixed emotions about it." Based on those around him, Edge appears to be more willing to go along with more "raunchy angles" and do what he is told. However, the segment this past week may have caused some awkwardness for him and his wife. "Adam will do whatever is asked of him," said a close friend of Edge. "He's not the type to put up a stink about it. But he had to limit how far they went with it, so they found a happy medium to keep the company happy." A picture of Lita's exposed left breast during the segment has no doubt made the rounds this week on the internet and probably didn't help matters much either.

A Week In Review: The Most Tumultuous Week Ever!

In a matter of just seven days, the face of WWE changed more than it ever has in the history of the company. And there’s not a man alive today that can say they saw it coming.

Heading into last weekend, John Cena was WWE Champion, Batista was World Heavyweight Champion, sex was reserved for the bedroom, there was no United States Champion, Jillian had a mole… The list goes on and on. But all that changed, and changed quickly in what can only be described as the most tumultuous week ever.

It all started with New Year’s Revolution when John Cena went wire to wire to win the Elimination Chamber. Cena’s victory may not have shocked too many fans, as he has proved on countless occasions that he can overcome almost any obstacle put in front of him. But what happened afterwards shocked the entire sports-entertainment world. Nine months after becoming “Mr. Money in the Bank,” Edge finally cashed in his WWE Championship opportunity. Then, in a matter of just minutes, Cena’s impressive reign as champion was stolen from him after two spears. Edge, a Superstar that was not even involved in the Elimination Chamber at New Year’s Revolution, was then presented with his WWE Championship.

The chaos continued a mere 24 hours later when the Rated R Superstar and his girlfriend, Lita, rang in Edge’s WWE Championship reign with a live sex celebration in the middle of the ring on RAW. WWE has seen some crazy celebrations in the past. In fact, it wasn’t that long ago when Ric Flair celebrated his Intercontinental Championship victory with several beautiful women and some champagne in the back of a limo. But there has never been a celebration like the one Edge and Lita put on, not even by the Nature Boy. Edge waited 14 years for the WWE Championship and there was no stopping him from celebrating the way he wanted to celebrate. After disrobing Lita and getting under the covers, the new WWE Champion even went so far as to pop his head out from under the sheets with Lita’s panties in his mouth. Who knows what else we would have seen if Ric Flair and John Cena never interrupted. One thing’s for certain, we may never see another celebration like that again.

With all that insanity happening on the RAW side of things, at least SmackDown still had the stability of their World Heavyweight Champion. Or did they? Two days after John Cena had the WWE Championship stolen from him at New Year’s Revolution, it was learned that Batista, as a result of injuries sustained at the hands of Mark Henry, had surrendered his World Heavyweight Championship over to General Manager Theodore Long at the SmackDown television taping in Philadelphia.

WWE had been shaken to its foundation. In a matter of just days, both RAW and SmackDown had lost their champions. Prior to Sunday, the Road to WrestleMania seemed so clear – in January, there would be the Royal Rumble. The winner of that match would then choose to face either WWE Champion John Cena or World Heavyweight Champion Batista at WrestleMania. That is no longer the case.

The craziness does not stop there, however. After Batista surrendered his title to Theodore Long, the SmackDown General Manager declared that a new World Heavyweight Champion would be crowned that very night. The new champion would be the winner of a 20-man, over-the-top-rope Battle Royal. You can imagine the excitement running through the SmackDown locker room. Now try to imagine the disappointment of the SmackDown Superstars when RAW’s Kurt Angle not only entered the Battle Royal, but won it and became the new World Heavyweight Champion. That’s right, in a truly unprecedented turn of events, RAW’s Kurt Angle now holds SmackDown’s World Heavyweight Championship.

Another WWE first happened on the very same night when Randy Orton defeated Chris Benoit for the United States Championship in the final match of the thrilling best-of-seven series. The catch is that Orton didn’t win the U.S. Championship for himself. Rather, the Legend Killer was merely a replacement for the injured Booker T. Never before had a replacement won the United States Championship for another Superstar. But when Orton defeated Benoit at SmackDown, it was just another unimaginable event in a week full of unbelievable happenings.

Believe it or not, there was even more chaos that ensued this past week in WWE. However, it didn’t include an Elimination Chamber, the crowning of a new World Champion, live sex in the middle of the ring or any replacement wrestlers. Instead, it had to do with the Boogeyman… and a mole. For weeks, SmackDown fans have seen the creepy Boogeyman chewing on live worms. But what he dined on this past week on SmackDown was even more disgusting, believe it or not. After crashing JBL and Jillian’s appearance on Piper’s Pit, the Boogeyman got a hold of the blonde image consultant. A spooked Jillian had nowhere to run as the Boogeyman looked her up and down. A few seconds later, he had his eye on the prize – Jillian’s mole. First, he licked the hideous growth a few time. Then, with a squeamish audience looking on in awe, the Boogeyman bit Jillian’s mole right off her face. Rather than spitting the disgusting growth out of his mouth, he continued to chew on it until there was nothing left.

Heading into this week, it’ll be interesting to see how both RAW and SmackDown rebound from the insanity of last week. As it stands now, though, it doesn’t appear as though things won’t be slowing down any time soon. In fact, Monday night on RAW both champions will be in action. The new World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle will battle Shawn Michaels in what is sure to be another instant classic. And for the first time ever, the WWE Championship will be defended in a TLC Match when Edge puts his title on the line against the 16-time World Champion Ric Flair. Does the Nature Boy have another reign on top left in the tank? Or will the Rated R Superstar’s experience in TLC Matches propel him to victory?

I think as of right now, wwe is in a state of panic/book as we go type of mode. They don't have a clue on what to do.

I have to agree that RVD would probably be best served to go to SD! right now, and perhaps even be given the title, or if he stays on RAW, he can and should feud with Edge for the top belt. I've heard the company was very surprised by RVD's promo at One Night Stand (I wasn't, every ECW fan knew that when you get RVD in the ring, and he's passionate about what he's saying, and doing, he can deliver like few others), so it looks like he may finally be in line for that main event push, and considering that they need fresh faces, and they may need to de-emphasize Cena a bit for a main event push later, RVD could be a good alternative.

Red, let's do this proper *gets a chorus of ECW fans together* "WELCOME BACK! WELCOME BACK! WELCOME BACK!!!"

Can't nobody do that like ECW fans.

Oh, for the love of God!

On WWE’s website they have recently put up a new video of Tim White. This time in the video, he hangs himself.

The video features Josh Matthews, reading a letter from a fan that asks him not to kill himself when White brings in a chair, puts up a rope and then hangs himself. Josh makes a weak attempt to grab his legs, then runs out of the room to "get help". In the interim, White struggles, then stops, presumably dying.

This bull shit has gone on long enough!

Now, the fans of A.J. Styles are saying, "What about his match against A.J.?" It's in my personal opinion that Daniels is better than Styles overall. He's more technically sound. And of course, that is my personal opinion.

I couldnt agree more about Samoa Joe He is an Umbeliveable talent, I Love watchin him beat up people in the ring. Apparently hes agrueing about his contract with TNA I pray he stays there, if he moves to WWE they would so water his style down which would suck badlly. He is only 26 so hes got such a big future.

I recon they should give Abyss a push In TNA after what he went through recently he deserves it.

Iagree SamoaJoe is by far TNA's best in ring performer and he doens't even look loke he would be any good in the ring but every time he does something that hasn't been seen before forget the X division title he should go for the NWA title. I don't know if anyone here watched Final Resolution last night but in a promo Christian mentioned his "brother" since Christian is in TNA why dies he still refer to Edge as his brother?

Thats strange, since he hasn't refered to Edge as a brother in the longest time. They aren't related either that was just a storyline way back when the brood was going on.

So what are the results for the TNA PPV?

So what are the results for the TNA PPV?

Someone will probably post detailed results but here's a short version.

Alex Shelly Austin Aries & Roderick Strong beat Chris Sabin,Matt bentley& Sonjay Dutt.
The James Gang defeat the Diamonds in the Rough.
Aj Styles beat Tanahashi
Raven lost to Zbysko's mystery opponent (Sean Waltman).
Bobby Roode beat Ron Killings.
Abyss beat Rhyno.
America's Most Wanted beat Team 3D.
Samoa Joe beat Christopher Daniels.. AJ Styles threw in the towel because Samoa Joe was just beating down the Fallen angel.
Sting and Christian Cage beat Jarret and Monty Brown- Sting looked pretty good for an old guy he still has some gas left in the tank.

I have to agree. Last week just seemed like one of the weirdest weeks I can remember. Ever.
Everytihng has happened in such weird circumstances. Edge comes in and screws (saves the title) Cena out of his title. Angle came in and rescued the dwindling Smackdown roster. That Boogeyman thing was disgusting.
I mean, i also saw my first TNA PPV, Turning Point, which weirded me out for some reason.
It was weird seeing Chrisian Cage and The Dudleys again.
Also, something is freaking me out about AMW. I dont know what it is, but everytime I think about them, it just makes me feel odd. I miss when the Wildcat was a face. I saw him once, and I liked him, and now he looks so much different. Like so much taller and darker than before. Like the horseman of the Apocalypse.

Not related, but they are like the LOD in that they grew up together as best friends.

It sucked ass with way too many shit finishes to the fact that reading over the results made me think I was reading about a WCW PPV for a minute there. All the reactions coming in were negative too.

Ten points to whomever spots the refrence!

Triple H. Now gimme my points!!!!! : )

The TLC match looks good on paper, but I really have to question Flair's vitality and durability. Not only is he past his prime, (and his prime rarely consisted of anything the calibur of a TLC match) but theres no way he's mentally into it. I'm not expecting much from the match.

I gotta agree, I give Flair credit for not backing down from something like this, but the fact is that he has physical limitations right now, hell, anybody his age would. Even Terry Funk can't do brutal matches all the time like he used to. Mad respect for Flair, but I'm concerned for his well-being with the way the company has been booking more violent and unprotected spots and bumps for him to be taking.

And of course, Angle/Michaels IV. Really the rubber match, seeing as how the Iron Man Match came to a draw. These guys always have spectacular matches, but I just know the end is going to be terrible. Think about it. Angle's heading to SD! as the World Heavyweight Champion. They're not going to have him lose. Michaels is "feuding: with McMahon, so you know he'll be screwed somehow.

Yeah, the finish is going to be choreographed as hell, and as we all know, you can have a five star classic in the meat of the match, but if your finish is a convoluted screw job, that's all anybody will remember.

Angle is going to win tonight, no doubt about that. Not only because he is the champion now, but also because of the HBK-Vince feud which will lead to a match at RR. (Not at WM22, HBK will get a better opponite there---probably Mr.Kennedy) At least Angle won't have to job to wigger Cena anymore which is a great news.

I hate to spoil shit for you guys, however this Friday night on SmackDown!, it will be Kurt Angle vs Davari. This would likely mean that Davari screws up somehow tonite, and gets ANgle pissed at him. To be honest, I'm expecting an HBK victory tonight. However, I do expect it to be a highly-controversial match that may lead up to Angle vs HBK V for the WHC @ the Royal Rumble. Just one theory.

Angle getting rid of Daivari is the best thing that can happen for him. Daivari makes Angle look weak. Same way that Bob Orton was making Randy Orton look bad.

I hope Angle kicks Edge's ass. That would be neat.

Angle turned face, plain and simple. Didn't you see that at least half of the crowd were cheering for him when he wrestled against HBK? For the RR match, Henry vs Angle would be a bad idea because Henry sucks. But with RO saved for WM22, they don't have too many options, do they?

Angle will probably wrestle Henry simply because WWE would like to try and get one last pay off on Henry. Although there is the possibility that WWE may try to program Lashley against Henry (which would actually work better, since Lashley can then beat Henry and be able to proclaim himself as the new "World's Strongest Man").
