I think you get Smackdown after us now, so I thought i'd warn yous that like surprises before i post, but I would forget about somethngs unless i post them as the night rolls on.
I thought they banned the 450-splash, because Juvi seemed all to happy to use it. Maybe they were giving him a worthy farewell.
Finally, they bring back Kennedy to Smackdown. I love that guy, even though he is just on Colour, but i'm sure he has more announcing skills that Booker T. Its good to hear his voice again.
Isn't he going to be out of action for at least 3 more months after now? That sucks :(

They can just keep using them as a tag team, that was the primary use of Psichosis and Super Crazy anyway.

I just read on Wikipedia that Mark Henry was planned to come back in Coachman's match against Austin some time ago, but Austin walked out. Doesn't it just make you think that things could be so different if just one thing is changed? We would have perhaps had a good storyline right now....who knows.

Thats exactly right. It was supposed to be Coach w/ Goldust & Vadar vs Austin. During the match, Mark Henry would come in and screw Austin out of the win. However, Austin didn't like this idea, so Henry was put aside until now.

I think It was meant to be Hnry to come back and beat up Austin to get Coachman the win, and Austin walked out on WWE becasue they weren't gonna give JR his job back. So thety arranged Batista and Vader and Goldust last minute. It was kind of a half-arsed attempt at a match. But there aint much you can do when someone walks out last minute eh..

Eventhough Austin never came, it made Batista more of a legend. Too bad they put Cena at the top of the list even though he has his head stuck up Vinces butt.

Batista's match at Taboo Tuesday didn't really elevate him much (in my opinion anyway), but it did fuel the whole SD/RAW feud by going "Oh, hey guys, Smackdown superstars are tougher. Whaddaya know."

What it said for me was:
"Hey look, here are two superstars you'll never see here again, and an announcer that has little to no impact on any storyline on Raw or Smackdown, this is an accurate depiction of Raw."
They could have tried a little harder is all.

LordKooler's Friday Night Smackdown review
1.JBL vs Matt Hardy
JBL won the match. Then The Boogeyman comes out and targets JBl again. At the end, Boogeyman puts worms in Jillian Hall's panties! Why is the Boogeyman stalking JBL? And will they have a match at Royal Rumble or No Way Out?
2.Mark Henry vs Jobbers
WWE's worst wrestler wrestles his first match in WWE since 2004 when he wrestled Chris Benoit on RAW. Henry squashes the jobbers at the end.
3.Kid Kash vs Juventud
Juventud was recently released by WWE because of all the backstage heat he caused. When he was in WCW, WCW released him because of an incident during a tour in Australia where he took PCP and took off all of his clothes near a hotel restaurant where all the other WCW wrestlers were eating while screaming that he was going to kill himself. When WWE released Akio, Spike Dudley, Billy Kidman, and Shannon Moore last year, It really hurt the Cruiserweight division. And the release of Juventud did more damage. Kid Kash won. With Juventud gone, Who will feud with Kid Kash for the Cruiserweight Title? And Juventud's release caused the Mexicools to become a tag team consisting of Super Crazy & Psicosis. Juventud would be great for TNA's X Division.
4.Chris Benoit vs Randy Orton
Match 6 in the best of 7 series for the US Title. When Randy Orton was about to help Booker T win back the US Title, Orlando Jordan came out and attacked Benoit, Causing a DQ. The Series is tied 3-3.
5.Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs Gymini
Gymini are Smackdown's newest tag team and Simon Dean's bodyguards. Gymini squashed Kendrick & London at the end.
6.Batista & Rey Mysterio vs MNM
For the first time since 2000 or 1999, The Tag team titles are defended in a steel cage. Mark Henry helped MNM retain the titles.

Lol! Oh my god. Funny stuff. I came in to talk about Bobby Lashley and Batista though. Although it is all fake, Lashley and Batista in a ring together would be cool, there preety dang equal in size and strength. and we all know Benoit is gonna win his little US title. On second thought of that though, maybe Randy will cheat to win the last one. Could go either way. Raw is such a bore these days. Some good story lines though, I mean, triple H is very interesting, big show thing, elimination chamber is what's keeping me watching Raw, SD is better. But, I watch both, I can't live without my wrestling.

The whole Mark Henry, Batista feud is bullshit. I don't want to mention it again since it is worthless. I am not too concerned about Randy Orton losing. As you guys saw already, Benoit did not beat him clean. In fact, he was about to take the RKO when OJ rushed in. Next week, RO will probably beat Benoit clean next week. Remember his deal with Booker? I want to see what the deal will be about as RO told Booker that he would own him something once he beat Benoit. The Boogeyman part was disgusting. He inserted the worms inside Jullian's panties. eeeh!!! The positive part is that The Boogeyman is 41 already so hopefully we will not see him for long. Glad to see Mr.Kennedy back, he is one of the most entertaining wrestlers right now. The way he speaks is always funny. I have a feeling that he will get a big push once he returns in the ring. Other than that, SD! is decent.

WWE Champion John Cena vs. Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Masters vs. Carlito vs. Kane (Elimination Chamber Match)

Got my money on Carlito he needs a BIG PUSH and he has the talent for it!

Big Show vs. Triple H

Knowing WWE HHH well hit Big Show with the Sledge Hammer then hit the Pedigre and Win

Intercontinental Champion Ric Flair vs. Edge
Since Edge hasnt had nothing in over 2 years Edge will take the win

Gregory Helms vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler
Jerry wil take a beating but he will take the win

Ashley vs. Maria vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Victoria vs. Candice Michelle (Bra & Panties Gauntlet Match)
Either Ashley or Victoria.. Maria thinks the answer to 1+1= Blue so theres no way shes going to win Candice wont win and Torrie Wilson is only in WWE cuz she has BIG who hoos

Women's Champion Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James

Mickie

O and Juventud has been released from WWE

I'm pretty excited about how Booker's relationship with Randy Orton is gonna progress, and if Orlando Jordan will get involved in the future. I'm glad that the Best of 7 Series wasn't so straightforward. That would have been boring as hell.

I thought that new tag team that was there.. gymeni or however they spelled it had some inpressive moves. hopefully SD's tag team division in going to get better. It already has more teams than Raw.

and teh Cage match (with the exception of Henry) was damn good too.

A ten year deal? on a guy like henry? geeze.. I wonder how much he was getting paid?

Oh, The Gymini. I forgot about them. Yeah, they had neat moves. Too bad Kendrick and London got laid out, I kinda like them. They got a rad new look, too.

The Gymini are kinda generic-looking, though, despite having cool double teams. Just more bald, white men with black trunks.

At 1/7/06 02:06 AM, Outlaw88 wrote: A ten year deal? on a guy like henry? geeze.. I wonder how much he was getting paid?

The reasoning at the time was the publicity he would bring in. He had been an Olympic weight lifter, so they figured turning him into a wrestler would be a good deal because of that fact. They just didn't realize how limited he would be, or how ineffectual he would be at getting over (Vince loves his big men way too much, and thinks the crowd will too).

The money had to be pretty substantial, since it was enough that they felt like releasing Henry outright would cost them too much. So I imagine it must have been similar to the contracts getting paid out in WCW in terms of language, if not dollar figure (I'd say either a million, or somewhere in that neighborhood, since he was signed at a low point in the companies history, they probably gave him a "low" dollar amount, but because of the length of the deal, that's what sweetned the pot to lure him in), so that if they released Henry, they'd probably still be on the hook for most, or all of his money, provided he didn't work anywhere else. Like I said, when you consider how long Vince married himself into this deal, this has to be considered probably his greatest disaster, or at least his second greatest. I'm curious as to when exactly the deal expires. Guess we'll all find out together, as I can't see them even attempting to renew it unless Henry somehow magically draws a shit load of money for them.

okay.. i think Simon Dean is angry so he got those huge guys Gemini which were impressive... Mark Henry is pissing me off the moron who screwed May Young and she gave birth to a blasted hand, yeah i always hated MNM and thought Melina was a skank... but i thought about a couple matches i would love to see. first Triple H vs. JBL now that would be good... Batista vs. Cena haha, there was one i always thought about an old wrestler named Mordecai who was only there for like 2 months i always wanted to see him wrestle the Undertaker, and finally i would've loved to see Stone Cold vs. Goldberg.... does anybody agree or have any comments?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-01-07 10:37:34

Austin vs Goldberg has been what many have wanted for years and will never get.

I just bought some tickets for Raw on Feb 6th and I got up early enough to get floor seats! I have been to Raw and SD shows several times but I have never sat in the floor section. I can't wait till then.

Current Headlines for January 7th, 2006

Note: This will be a SINGLE POST news clip *crowd cheers* since not much is going on since the main focus is on Juvi's release.

WWE Byte This Once Again Blasted By TNA Callers

A caller named Pat phoned Byte This! earlier tonight and asked Todd what he and Vince McMahon thought about TNA signing Sting. Todd said he didn't think Vince really cared because he was the interim GM of RAW and was having a good time. He then quickly hung up on the caller.

Another caller from Calgary, Canada called in and asked Chris Masters a question and then quickly noted "and be sure to check out TNAWrestling.com". Click. Todd ignored it like it never happened.

Another caller phoned in at the end and said "Hey Todd, I love how you dodge TNA questions like you dodge women". Todd was about to answer him and the caller hung up!

Someone in the chat stated "TNA Sucks" and Todd noted it and said "Wow, that's good".

They also showed a video preview of Heat this week which showed former TNA knockout Trinity.

RAW Magazine: McMahon’s, Lingerie Preview, Steiner, More

The cover of the latest issue of the RAW Magazine features all four McMahons. Basically the cover slightly resembles the same as the Royal Rumble poster except the pose is a little different.

Featured inside the magazine is an article on past Royal Rumble moments. Rick Steiner is also featured in a section called “Where Are They Now?” In the article he talks about is current job with his local school system.

The magazine also features several preview photos from WWE Divas Lingerie magazine. That magazine is set to hit the newsstands on Valentine’s Day. Maria, Trish Stratus, Mickie James, Torrie Wilson, Candice Michelle, Victoria and Ashley are all featured Divas in the magazine.

RAW Advertisement With SmackDown! Stars, Jake Roberts Lawsuit, More

Look for "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan to appear in a movie that features Dennis Rodman and the late Pat Morita.

An advertisement for this upcoming RAW was aired during TSN Sportscenter tonight. What was weird about the advertisement is that it featured SmackDown! brand wrestlers Matt Hardy, Chris Benoit and RAW wrestler Rob Van Dam.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts and the WWE may have some problems up their sleeves soon. Members of Jake Robert’s family especially his farther are not to please with some of the comments made on the recently released DVD of Jake Roberts. Currently the family has not taken any legal action as of yet, but it will most likely happen soon.

SmackDown! Storyline Spoiler, Batista vs. Henry, SmackDown!, More

Please follow this link to view as the story contains possible SPOILERS.

Champion Injured?, Henry, NYR Press Conference, More

There was fear at the Deep South Wrestling tapings on last night that Cruiserweight champion Kid Kash suffered some sort of arm injury after a stiff kick from Tony Santorelli. Some feel he may have broke it although we do not have any further update.

WWE.com has finally posted video footage of the New Years Revolution press conference held in Albany, NY at the Pepsi Arena on Tuesday. To view the footage, visit http://www.wwe.com/c..80386/nyr06pressconf

Mark Henry has been added to the Smackdown Superstars Page.

The Plainview Daily Herald has an article mentioning that Greg Valentine will speak at the 11 a.m. chapel service at Wayland Baptist University on 1/11, returning at 7 that evening for a youth rally in Harral Auditorium.

More On Juvi's Release From WWE, More News Inside

Mike "The Miz" made his last official appearance for Deep South Wrestling last evening. He will now report to OVW where he will start working with Chris Cage as a tag team, which has been in the works for a while.

Michelle McCool returned to Deep South last night after a lengthy absence due to illness. The former Diva Search contestant and current Smackdown interviewer Kristal Marshall was used as a ring announcer for the TV segments as well last evening and former WCW referee Johnny Boone worked the dark matches.

With his release, it is obvious that Juventud will not be in the Triple Threat matches this weekend. Following up on Juvi's release, it appears that he had been warned by management several times about his behavior, so much that Psicosis and Super Crazy distanced themselves and refused to travel with him. What seemed to cause the release is that Juvi and Kid Kash went over their scheduled match time by several minutes on Tuesday's Smackdown tapings. This was expected and should not come as a surprise.

WWE.com are directly linking to ABC.com's Dancing with the Stars online voting page. A "VOTE NOW" headline is the main story on WWE.com. This move will definately give Stacy an advantage over the other contestants as they probably aren't getting assistance from a big popular site such as WWE.com.

Looks like the leader of the Chain Gang is starting to crack:

Several people backstage have been noticing that Cena is getting bothered by the boos he’s been getting from the crowd lately. He’s been trying to just brush it off, saying it’s their choice and they can cheer or boo whoever they want, however it is still getting to him. He’s been working very hard lately between both wrestling and his music, and is home maybe only one day of the week.

There isn’t really anything being said about it right now, but if the company was to turn him heel it would probably be the biggest heel turn since The Rock.
