I'm only a casualy wrestling fan now but I loved my 80's and 90's, anyone know any more on this? Is this true?

Yeah, Ummm... Never mind me, I just looked up Jeremy Irons... looked alot like the Warrior in a movie, but definately not him....

Sorry, I'm retarded.

Good to see that Hardcore Holly's being used more.

Oh, a few notes I should ask about.

There was a sign fairly close to the ring that was censored for the broadcast. What did the sign say?

Cannon said the last names of the guys last week who trampled the Mexicools. I forgot the name, though.

When's Boogeyman gonna wrestle? Chaotic scene, by the way. Midgets running around everywhere, stinking of pork and here comes the Boogeyman doing his poem. I recognized two of his lines though: "All of my children are in heaven. Won't be back 'til June 11." Uh-oh. Something happening, then?

And a comment. The RAW invasion attempt was weak. Two people, and Edge attacked the wrong fucking guy. Seriously, guys.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-10-22 08:53:31

not if he wanted JBL to lose. So technically speaking, Rey won the match via DQ, but thats really not the point anymore as a rey/edge fued seems to be on teh horizon.

Ok it is time for ryo to share the words of wisdom. SD sucks ass. the reason why they are having raw jump in is to build up some ratings cause SD is really tanking on UPN. This is a very bad idea people I mean we all know that this is just a stunt, not to mention a very shitty one at that. Plus they will use this and it will run into the survivor series in november where 2 things will happen. the new SD vs RAW game will hit stores and sticking to the game so that it is free promo's for it this years survivor series will be SD vs RAW. so that they can "prove" which brand is better. You know this is very sad and mark my words people it will happen. already at taboo tuesday they will have 2 SD vs RAW matches. shit like this can be seen from a mile away and it is like throwing perfume on shit. no matter who much you try to make it better, it is still shit. Well that is Ryo's 2 cents. you all have a good day and don't forget TNA is tonight

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-10-22 13:32:45

I do agree that the idea of the "brands" at war is weak because they've never really been competitive, at least not since Paul E. left as SD! GM, I know some of you will disregard anything I say about Paul's tenure on the screen as GM as me just being a Heyman mark, and that's fine, I don't care. The fact is though, Paul E. did a great job of making it seem like the brands were in competition, not just at the PPV's where they would interact, but he just made it a big deal any time SD! was on to be like "oh yeah, this'll be better then anything RAW offers up" he really tried to make it seem seperate, and play the idea that RAW was an enemy show. Something that WWE erodes and hasn't really pushed since then, unless it's to book a match like the SS fight upcoming.

So, Cade and Murdoch are gonna defend the Championships against whoever doesn't get voted into the WWE Triple Threat. I really can't see them successfully defending the championships against any combination of Big Show, HBK, or Kane.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-10-22 14:19:29

Perfect timing with the new game, (SD vs. RAW 2006) as I suspect the rivalry to be at its absoulute PEAK in November. Anyone else getting it? I HAD SD vs. Raw, but it melted (TOO MUCH... PLAYING!), and, when I went for a replacement, they had none left... :(

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-10-22 14:27:34

you melted it? Jeeze, how long were you playing for it to do that?

As the Masterpiece and Edge interfered yesterday's SD! match, there will be a tag team match between Edge, Masters and two SD! superstars who get the highest votes from the fans. It will be awesome to see JBL and Rey who are foes work together as a team. Nevertheless, I think that Edge and Masters will have the edge and pull up the victory.

Agreed. I guess that he will lose at Taboo Tuesday at the hands of Kurt Angle. I will be pissed off if Cena wins again. There is bno way that WWE should allow Cena the wigger to have the belt until WM22.

It wasn't that melted, just this INCESENT white spot on the top, that wouldn't allow it to get past the opening credits. But ya, I played it a lot, and is probably left on accidently one too many times....

Hah, they'll have "the edge." Cuz, like, he's called Edge... yeah. I, too, will vote for JBL and Mysterio to team up. JBL is a must-have. I simply want Smackdown to win. JBL is a great wrestler, he'll find some way to win.

As for the Triple Threat, I really really really wanna see Big Show win this one. But first I must hope that he gets voted in.

Missed the very beginning of TNA, but I'm watching ot npw. Seems the Americas Most Wanted (A tag team for those of you who don't know) won the tag titles.

man i hate Billy Gunn.. or whatever his name is now..

Well, TNA is still going, but I'm not going to finish watching it.

But yeah, JBL might be a jackass, but I'd still really like to see him and Rey team up for Taboo Tuesday. JBL would have to win, he'd have the anger from "his" show being invaded to back him up. I just wanna see Smackdown win.

Randle Keith Orton is a great character on Smack Down. I love his arrogance.

Well its was a heel night. missed the first five minutes of the first match. Looks like somoa joe dominated. Dont let that match fool you Elix Skipper is a great xdivision wrestler. Hes the one you see in the cage give leg scissors to an amw member.

Well we knew amw would pick up the victory this time. Now petey has to get the x-title.

Ron Killings had a good match agian we see kip james the outlaw billy gunn confront bgjames damn I never knew he was road dogg that explians alot to me. Did you notice the lets go canada and u-s-a chants

Awesome main event from totally different styles(pun intended) Double JJ sets up for stroke Poooooouuuunce Aj goes flying. Then Fallen angel puts him in some submission I never seen. Then everyone comes out. Nash with a redwings jersey ok it ends

I guess Bound for Glory is their WM. Its been a year so this might be their last newest monthly payperview, if road wild/turningpoint is in november / december.

I picked up three tna ppv dvds for $20 Road wild 04 turning point 04 and lockdown 05.

Yes I think suicide is funny and I am sick of pretending its not.

LordKooler's TNA Impact review
1.Samoa Joe vs Elix Skipper
Samoa Joe, Who held the Ring of Honor championship for 21 months and is one of the greatest indy wrestlers of all time, and is also the winner of TNA's Super X cup 2005, makes his Spike TV debut against Elix Skipper. Samoa Joe won with the Muscle Buster. Even though Samoa Joe works for TNA, He still continues to wrestle in Indy promotions when he's not wrestling in TNA. It seems like every wrestler in TNA also wrestle in Indy promotions. How can a wrestler who works for a Major promotion wrestle in an Indy promotion at the same time?
2.America's Most Wanted vs The Naturals
The first TNA championship match on Spike TV. America's Most Wanted won their Sixth straight NWA Tag Team Titles with help from Gail Kim and Jeff Jarrett. There will be a rematch between AMW and The Naturals at Bound for Glory.
3.Ron Killings vs Bobby Roode
During the match, Kip James came out and had an argument with BG James & Konnan. Then Kip James, BG James, and Konnan are carried away by security. Will Kip James cause 3LK to break up? Bobby Roode won at the end after hitting Ron Killings with a hockey stick.
4.Jeff Jarrett & Abyss & Monty Brown vs AJ Styles & Jeff Hardy & Lance Hoyt
A good six man tag match to end Impact. Brown, Abyss, and Jarrett won at the end when Christopher Daniels attacked Styles and when Monty Brown gave Styles the pounce. During the match, Cassidy Reily said that Raven will return at Bound for Glory.
Then after the match all the wrestlers involved in the Six man tag man and Christopher Daniels, Rhino, and Sabu attack each other in the ring. Then Kevin Nash comes out and then the show ends. What did Kevin Nash do in the fight?

TNA never had a ppv named road wild. That was a WCW ppv. You must be talking about TNA's first monthly ppv in November 2004 Victory road, TNA's november ppv this year will be called Genesis. And TNA will have Turning Point this december.

Randy Orton is also my favourite wrestler along with The Undertaker. But I doubt that SD! will give Orton his shot too soon because Eddie is still very gai toward Batista. We may have to wait until WM22 to see Randy Orton wrestling against Batista.

Simple, the company lets him. While I'm sure TNA has in the actual wording of their contracts that the wrestler is exclusive to them (so that they can have a piece of paper saying he is required to make his bookings, and also to keep him from negotiating with Vince, and/or trying to hold the promotion up), they have agreements probably with each of them as to what, and how many, outside bookings they may take. There are WWE performers such as Nunzio and Tommy Dreamer who also work the occassional indy shot.

I want to see Batista and R.O in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match in No Way Out, when it comes around. No interference by his father then. He keeps fucking the matches up.

WWE's Power25 made a reference to Bob Orton. They ranked Randy Orton fairly low because they said he "Needs to start winning without daddy."

It's a new weekly feature on the main site. Batista is #1 right now. Orton is 7 so I guess that's not all that low. Not sure if he'd be any higher up without daddy, either. He hasn't done anything exciting too recently.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-10-23 20:11:52

I dunno about you guys, but i really miss the big time wrestlers like Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. Lesnar was a BAD ASS and a good one too. But it's cool when Steve Austin comes out and everyone listens so intently to him..."WHAT??!" And then call back when he says "Why? 'Cuz Stone Cold sez so!!" Fucking awesome... :P
I just wish that they didn't cancel the lingerie match a couple weeks back because "it wasn't what the demographic wanted to see." Absolute bullshit! That's just because the FAA got in on the action and forced USA or whoever the hell the broadcaster (was) is to put a stop to it.
Anyways, I think that why Randy and Bob Orton work together all the time is to go and make Randy look more like a bad guy and to get ppl to hate him more. That's kinda cool how everyone just acts like such assholes on TV and in the ring, but are all nice and great people when you see them out on the street. That's just my 2 cents.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-10-23 20:35:03

I don't miss goldberg much, but i was kinda sad to see lesnar go.

I'm gonna see if there were any good matches from heat. Velocity had a good match with juv/london
