I think the time to have done midget wrestling was maybe 94 or 95 when they were using Doink and Dink a lot, and Dink was over pretty big, and they had guys like Max Mini around. Plus, there were no real issues with political correctness and standards and practices, not to mention I trusted THAT booking structure to treat them right. Today? I think they'll be a comedic division getting ridicule and adding nothing of value, and just another lame attempt to "grab ratings by pissing off the general public, and appealing to the lowest common denominator"
Ok, now I recognize Bently, I was more familiar with his other name of Michael Shane, and I remembered when they demanded it be changed.
I liked the mock funeral segment, it went over pretty well, and made AMW total scumbag heels, I see them taking the Naturals next week, so that they can have that dream match with The Dud....er, Team 3D (wouldn't want to get sued now would I?) be a title match on top of it. They are looking at Bound for Glory as their Wrestlemania.
I think that about covers everything I wanted to respond to. Oh, one other thing, I actually like Batista as champ, I also have a tremendous amount of respect for him as a person after an interview he just gave about his career so far, as he did not toe the company line, and said he still believes there are performers on both rosters which are lazy and not earning their spot, and that Lashley is being pushed way too fast. I give a lot of credit to a man in his position for going out and speaking his mind when it is politically damaging to do so. I also like his character, and the way he's been booked as a very dominant, and yet smart champion. Here's a guy that to me is a guy who the sky is the limit, and he will be very useful in the future. Whereas Cena reminds me of The Rock in that I feel he's all sizzle with no steak, Batista is definitely the steak, and building his sizzle. The inevitable feud with Orton will I think bear that point out. I always said Batista had real limitless potential, and he's proving it now.
