actually you would be surprised. As long as it's not a floor seat, most tickets are under that amount.

Can't wait for raw tonight, cause otherwise mondays suck.

Got to check out TNA's Unbreakable show last night and I have to say...this is where the ECW fans migrated too, felt like I was watching an ECW show all night with the crowd reaction. The main event triple threat was maybe the best wrestling I've seen all year, the show top to bottom sucked me in, and I'd certainly be willing to get another (especially with it being cheaper then Vince), I think they've got a real chance to make a go of it on Spike, my only criticism is that I think they need some guys who can also do some more technical ground based wrestling, since from what I saw, the big draws for them are flyers, and hardcore guys, and I think they need some folks who can slow it down a bit more, and tell more of a story rather then a spot festival which many of the bouts were.

Still though, I'd recommend everyone at least check out the show on Spike when it debuts, especially if you miss hard hitting, high flying work. Very good show.

I'll start watching TNA when it starts, too. I'm not entirely sure what to expect of it.

Well, lots of stuff happened in RAW tonight. The show seemed to take a lot longer than it actually did.

It started with Big Show vs. Edge. Big Show technically won after Snitsky interfered for a disqualification. With Edge and Snitsky double-teaming Big Show, Matt Hardy came to lighten the attack by attacking Edge. With RAW off to a bad start, Eric Bischoff showed up and immediately turned the event into a Hardy & Big Show vs. Snitsky and Edge tag team match. Though Show and Hardy seemed to perform better, Snitsky scored a pin on Matt Hardy, and Edge even gave Lita the pleasure of performing a twist of fate on him.

In light of Kerwin White's abject racism and aiding Rob Conway against Shelton Benjamin, Benjamin was itching to face White in the ring. Shelton won by disqualification after White bent his 4-iron golf club on Shelton's back.

Victoria, Torrie Wilson, and Candice Michelle invited Ashley to the ring once again. Ashley knew, as did everyone else, that she would have been triple-teamed had Ashely not brought Trish Stratus as a special guest. With Stratus and Ashley getting the better of the 3, a new match for Unforgiven was announced, with Ashley and Trish in tag team action against Victoria and Torrie Wilson.

Cade and Murdoch defeated Tajiri and Eugene in a tag-team match, showing more impressive teamwork than they did in last week's match against the Champions. The announcers noted Murdoch's funny face.

John Cena, to nobody's surprise, survived and won the Handicap Match after Tomko stupidly gave one of his powerful kicks to his own teammate, allowing Cena to finish Tomko without Angle's interference.

Highlights: The announcers were funny tonight, and Kurt Angle did a tremendous German Suplex on Cena while he was hoisting Tomko for the F-U. Whoa.

I have a feeling that I forgot to mention an event... oh well.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-09-12 23:24:45

My SINCEREST apologies for the triple post, but I just remembered the event I forgot to mention.

Ric Flair beat Chris Masters by disqualification (Jesus, 3 disqualifications in one night) after Carlito ran in to hit Flair with his IC belt. HBK came in to aid Flair, and succeeded, though at his own expense, as Masters ran HBK into the turnstile pole twice and applied a Master Lock.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-09-13 00:04:14

well, it is the raw right before a PPV, so you can't expect a hell of a lot.

But Velocity's on Spike, isn't it?

Speaking of Velocity, Booker T got fucked. They demoted him to a Velocity star. Fuckers.

Unforgiven matches predictions:
1. Kurt Angel def Cena: Cena has no wresting skills, he is just a street fighter.
2. Ric Flair def Carlito: Ric needs the belt before he retires so that he can say that he got all kinds of championships
3. Matt Hardy def Edge: I personally think that Edge should focus more on becoming the WWE champion rather than defending a slut (Lita). Apparently, the feud will be over until Matt Hardy wins. So here is the time.
4. Chris Masters def HBK: Like it or not, RAW is making Mastersthe next Mr. Perfect.
5. Big Show def Snisky: It is just like a bully punishing a small kid.
6. The Cowboys (forgot their names) def Hurricane and Rosey: They are the RAW version of MNM.
7. Trish and Ashley def Victoria and Torrie: I would assume that it is Ashley's first victory on RAW.

And I mean, it's exactly the same scenario from the go home edition before Summerslam. I mean, how can Vince NOT be going down to the creative department and going "what the fuck is the matter with you?" I know everything in wrestling at this point is pretty much recycled from something else, but to recycle a plot line, the EXACT same plotline from only a MONTH ago is inexcusable...TNA can't get on Spike fast enough.

Avie's Unforgiven matches predictions:

1. Kurt Angel def Cena: I think Cena will finally lose here to keep the feud going, and to give Bischoff the temporary "victory". I look for Cena to either regain the belt at Taboo Tuesday, or Survivor Series. He's definitely wrestling Angle at Taboo Tuesday,

2. Ric Flair loses to Carlito: This match is to establish Carlito as a player, too bad the booking leading into it has done nothing to help that, and I'm sure the booking of the match as well won't help either, unless they have Carlito cheat and wisely have him claiming to be the "new dirtiest player in the game".

3. Matt Hardy loses to Edge: This is what? Part 4 of a five part feud according to Hardy? Hardy MIGHT win the blow off, but I'm not sure. Seems to me Vince just has Hardy there to destroy his value and keep him away from ever reuniting with Jeff. This feud is all about Edge, and making Edge the dispicabble heel challenger for Cena down the line.

4. Chris Masters def HBK: Masters is in the middle of a huge push, and HBK is just here to help Masters hit that "next level" that he will eventually fall from.

5. Big Show vs. Snisky: I don't care about this match...AT ALL, they could knock each other out in the first 30 seconds and I'm happy. There's no way this can be a good or interesting bout. I guess Shitsky will win so as to help keep him on his role as a "monster".

6. The Cowboys def Hurricane and Rosey: They're the new deal, Hurricane and Rosey were just guys to put the belts on after La Resistance held the belts too many times to continue winning them.

\7. Trish and Ashley def Victoria and Torrie: Ashley's revenge, look for Trish and Victoria to dominate most of this one though, and Ashley to just slip in and get the pin.

That and it's trish's first match since her back injury.

Velocity isn't that bad of a show. you get a lot of good mathces on it, especially since thats where all the cruisers seem to end up.

They do have a good amount of talent, but time will tell if they can pose a threat to WWE. I'm positive that once Vince feels like they are a threat, they will kick up all their programming.

TNA, at least judging by Unbreakable, is offering a different product then Vince is at this point. TNA is offering hard hitting, high flying, ECW-like action, where WWE is more engrossed in their story lines, slowing their bouts down, and keeping the big impact spots to a minimum.

My Unforgiven Predictions:

Kurt Angle def. Cena - This is a tough match to call, but I'm not about to bet against Angle here. Whether he wins or not, it's not going to be the end of Cena's storyline.

Ric Flair def. Carlito - I like Carlito. He is funny. The reason I like him is because he never gets away with being a dickhead. Getting his ass kicked is what he's best used for. Flair all the way.

HBK def. Masterpiece - The Master Lock is all Chris Masters has going for him. If he needs to use a chair (illegal in their next match) to make the Master Lock work on HBK, then HBK has more than a good chance of getting back at Masters.

Trish and Ashley def. Victoria and Torrie - Trish is seroius business. Serious. Business.

Cade and Murdoch def. Rosey and The Hurricane - Rosey and Hurricane have been performing terribly lately, and the Cowboys are fresh. And I want to see Murdoch's funny face more.

Edge def. Matt Hardy - Hardy's trying his best, but he's just not talented enough to beat Edge.

Big Show def. Snitsky - He's beaten Snitsky twice in one-on-one matches, and once in a tag team match (teamed with Kane). Big Show has been untouchable since the draft, and I don't see anything changing here.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-09-14 00:14:37

Whoops! As soon as I posted that, I looked at the site and saw that Shelton Benjamin will be facing Kerwin White as the newest match added to the Unforgiven event. I'm going with Benjy on this one. The only thing that brought him down last night was the golf club.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-09-14 10:41:33

I guess I'll throw in my predictions, though it will actually be more of a who I want to win type deal:

Angel vs. Cena: I hate cena and angel can out-wrestle him any given night even if he had only one arm, blindfolded, drunk, ect. He cuts a better promo too. Angel would be a much better champ. Go Kurt!

HBK vs. Masters: HBK had better win. Masters just sucks.

Ric Flair vs. Carlito: This one is kinda hard to chooes for me since i like both of them. But I would have to go for Carlito since they are getting him over.

Womans match: I see Trish's team geting the win here. I really don't care, but it is good to have trish back.

Edge vs. Matt Hardy: I really would like to see a Hardy win here, but WWE has made it clear that Edge is their priority.

Hurricane and Rosey vs. Cade and Murdoch: I am not really keen on haveing a brand new team get teh belts but maybe they can get the tag team division rolling again. I like the Hurricane but they were pretty much place-holders.

Big Show vs. Snitsky: Does anyone really care about this one? Big Show, just cause he is better.

Benjamin vs. White: This one was just thrown in not too long ago so I'm not expecting much. lets just hope this gimmick for chavo goes away sooner than later. I see Banjamin winning here.

I have to disagree with you at some predictions. First of all, Masters will defeat HBK. Yea, I like HBK, and he is a much better wrestler than Masters. However, don't forget that it is Masters' first PPV. How can the new version of "Mr. Perfect" lose his PPV debut? So I am almost sure that they will scrifice HBK. Secondly, Ric Flair are likely to defeat Carlito. As we known, the Int. championship belt is the only thing that Ric hasn't got in his career. So I guess that they will make him finish the dream there. :)
