The SD taping last night was really fun. I had a decent seat and the crowd for the most part was good. It was kinda funny actually, they started booing the lod and cheering for eddie in what was a great cage match. The mexicools got the most cheers up until Batista and the Undertaker came out.

Kid Kash and Spanky(no he's not using that name anymore but I forgot his real name) worked a dark match. Spanky has been re-signed I belive ans it looks like a good chance they may sign up Kid as well.

on an interesting side note, I picked up a program, which really just has pictures of the wwe's current roster in it and it featured the B.w.O. I thought it might be out of date but it did have Matt Hardy in there as well as current gimmicks for rob conway and a few others. The only fwe things out of date in it is that stacy is still "Super Stacy " on teh Raw side of it, and Hassan is still on the SD roster, though I don't know what they eventualy plan to do with him. Also, they had elimiated all the hardcore title records. So guys who at one point held that title did not get credit for it in the book. Though other past titles, from WCW as well as ECW were mentioned when it applied.

Hey Aveiw, you said that at one time Stevie Richards had the ECW TV title right? Why is it that he gets no credit for it? What I mean is, they don't list it on WWE.com, or this book, so what was the circumstance in that title reign? What did it last for 2 seconds or something?

i think for one night only there should be a tlc match between dudley boyz edge and christian and the hardy boyz that would be amazing

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-09-07 17:45:42

do u know the stretcher match between edge and kane a while back i thought it was rubbish stretcher matchs should only be once every couple of years and only at pay per views like the one before this one with rey and the big show when brock lesnar came and put the bigshow on the folklift truck that was awesome and where is triple h because if he goes back to raw he wont fit in because all the big names are on smackdown

Sd will suck on fridays just like it sucks on thursdays. it is all about just counting down to when TNA will show up on spike. hey does anyone know who they announcers are in TNA?

Yes, he is. Shame he's on RAW, though. I'd like to see Eddie tear him up about the change.

Question for anyone: The first hour of Smackdown is gonna be played through the website. What software would I need to view it?

Kash has been signed since before One Night Stand I believe.

Nope, Stevie never held any major singles belt, he held the tag titles twice with Raven, the initial reign began 6/20/95 when they beat The Public Enemy (R.I.P Rocco Rock, we all miss you buddy), ending on 9/16/95 when they were beaten in a brutal dog collar match by the Pitbulls (R.I.P Pitbull #2). They're second regin began on 10/7/95 and lasted only a few minutes as they were beaten by P.E.

Stevie was briefly involved in the World title picture when he was the leader of the b.W.O and lost a three way dance at Barely Legal for the shot. He was then to get a shot about a month later against Terry Funk at wrestlepalooza 97, but sadly injured his neck beforehand, and was unable to compete, and he left ECW shortly after this. A real shame, as I think there was a good possibility they would have put the belt on him as the whole "Stevie becomes a man" storyline was very well done, and the company seemed behind it.

Just a reminder to anyone who gets the New York UPN affiliate (WWOR) that SD! will be completely pre-empted Friday due to the Red Sox vs. Yankees game. The Katrina special airs Saturday at 8 and then SD's second hour at 9.

I don't know if this effects other markets, but I heard there could be some other markets effected by their local baseball games. This will get worse next year when UPN is able to exercise these game deals from the start of the season until the close of the season. This is why WWE is thinking about SD's future somewhere else.

Smackdown will be moving to fridays on UPN in the United states starting tomorrow. But in here in Canada on The score, Smackdown will still be shown on Thursdays but with a new time, 8:00pm to 10:00pm. Should I still do my Smackdown reviews on Thursdays? Or should I do them on Fridays?

well if you did them thursdays it would be a like a spoiler for the US viewers. So I would suggest fridays to keep those who liek to see it spoiler free happy. If you want to tell us if you think it was a good SD or not thats totally fine however.

I put the best two pics from yesterday here: Pictures

Fridays, just to avoid spoilers.

Sorry for double-post.

It looks as though WWE is forming and introducing some interesting new tag teams lately. On SD! you have the British guys William Regal and Paul Burchill (who really looks like wrestling material) and on RAW you've got Cade and Murdoch and the Love Machine/Porn Star tag team of Viscera and Val Venis.

I hope it won't stop there. The tag team division is coming back to life.

Some people still watch it, yourself included, so don't give me that it dosen't matter. I'm curious to see if the addition of Dusty Rhodes on creative will be any help to the product, it is good to see someone with real wrestling knowledge added to the team.

There is definatly room for improvement for SD, and hopefully Dusty can give it the kick in the ass it needs to get going.

More tag teams is defiantly a good thing.

Los Angeles I hope that's what you had too. I only get Smack Down because it's on my local channel. I got UPN as local. Raw however is on spike tv which requires cable or whatever.

hmm, maybe dusty rhodes can be the thing that saves them. Iknow why I watch SD, for the bad factor. I watch it to see how bad they can make it then come here to rant. What sucks ass? the FCC is going all out on everyone including cable and sattilite TV. which means raw and SD are going to really have to water itdown, even more then now cause they are on the warpath. So any good ideas that dusty could have to make the show better, if they were any way to extream to the bible belt the fines would flood in and raw would have to go back to being for babies.

It seems that the most extreme ideas have come from this shitty creative. If anything, the addition of Dusty will make Raw and SmackDown less outragous. Not all good ideas have to be shocking DuMa, is just you seem to have become accustomed to the crappy creative's way of being creative, which is, the more it is like a soap opera, and the more they exploit sterotypes, the better.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-09-09 11:36:44

he does have a point. But it is very clear the the creative team has been in need of some help and new ideas.

well tonight is SD, I am not gonna watch it cause I am going out but odds are their are spoliers out their. I am hoping with everything in me that the WWE does beter storylines in the future. something that can make me say "hey that was that bad, hell I am gonna keep watching" see I have some faith that when TNA hits TV that is when they will kick start the good shit to keep their fans watching instead of jumping ship to TNA

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-09-09 14:52:39
