He makes a good point, I hate the hell out of what they did too. Especially since it's my favorite tag team that got cut...but I can't honestly say I won't tape SD! tommorow, or watch the shows when I'm at home. Fact is, they've turned me off a huge amount lately, to the point that I only buy big PPV's I have interest in, and I don't normally tape the shows, I wind up reading reports, but I'm still watching it when I can. I think I might cut back a bit more still, but I can't say I honestly won't watch, I always find some reason to, no matter how bad it gets.

All these firings are pretty intense...but do you notice that alot of this is from SD!? WWE in my mind are expecting SD! to fold...so they are getting rid of the guys that just have no room on the RAW roster.

lol

Visera-I'm gonna butter your bread
guy-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

here are some WWE tidbits:
As noted earlier this week by PWInsider, Triple H was at RAW on Monday. WWE management knows that he has been overexposed the last few weeks and have opted to keep him off WWE RAW for the next several weeks. We don't have any confirmation on when exactly he'll make his return.

WWE writer Larry Mollin has left WWE and depending on who you ask, he got fired or left on his own. There were three new writers at RAW who were described by sources as very green and new to the business.

The Coach actually ran the obstacle course at RAW Monday prior to the show and went right through it. Vince McMahon told him to mess-up while doing the obstacle live so it looked somewhat difficult. The joke was backstage that even goofing his way through it, he still did better than some of the divas.

So this means WWE hav new creative? This could be good or bad, depending on whether they bring original ideas, or are so amateur that they have to copy old storylines.

Did the coach have any training as a wrestler? He has wrestled a few times, so he should be more athletic than those untrained divas

Well for those who care. lesner is at his meeting with Vince. you knoww hat that really is, vince cut all those superstars so that he can pay brock a shit load of money and brock wnats tocome back cause that whole idea of playing football died when they saw that he sucks.

In my opinion.....turning HBK heel was genious....and what better way to get the fans to hate you bu Super-kick Hogan's skull off....Everyone is acustomed to HBK being such a huge baby face, its a huge shock to see something you are so used to backfire like that....it will draw alot of viewers and interest for that feud.

Lesnar arrives at WWE headquarters (part 2 of 2)
July 7, 2005

Just hours before his meeting with Vince McMahon, an optimistic Brock Lesnar sat down with WWE.com to talk about his departure last year, possible upcoming return and more.

“I’ve had some contractual disagreements with WWE, as well as a lawsuit. But I’m ready now to see if we can do some business together.

“It wasn’t easy for me to leave,” claimed Lesnar in regards to his 2004 departure from WWE. “I struggled with the decision for a while. I realize people have their opinions about me leaving, and they’re entitled to those opinions. That’s why they live in America.”

After making the decision to leave WWE, Lesnar set his sights on becoming an NFL star. His unsuccessful pursuit to the gridiron was highly publicized, but it was one he still looks upon fondly. “I’m glad I did it. I didn’t want to look back years from now and regret not taking that chance,” said Brock on his decision to try football. “I’m done with football now, though. Like I said yesterday, professional wrestling is in my blood. This is what I want to do. You only get one life to live, and I’ll be damned if I’m not going to live my life to the fullest.”

If all goes well between Lesnar and McMahon today, the former WWE Champion still has to consider how he will be received by the WWE Superstars. “I have to take into consideration that this is a business,” replied Lesnar regarding any ill feelings toward him. “Hopefully, a return is what everybody wants to see. I can tell you that I will commit myself to be the guy I was in the ring before I left. If there’s problems from the boys, that’s not my problem. I never had a problem with them. They’ve been nothing but great to me in the past.

“If I do come back, though, people should be aware that they need to be on their toes,” Lesnar continued. “There ain’t nobody that can hold a candle to me.”

Stay tuned to WWE.com as more on Brock Lesnar and his meeting with Vince McMahon becomes available.

Seriously though, thats a great thing to say considering that he was concerned about not being accepted by the roster.

He's just really good as a commentator/staff member, so why move him?

WWE needs at least one heel Commentator. Ive noticed he has been the third announcer on Raw for the past couple of weeks, sitting with JR and the King. Is that just to advertise the Diva Search, or to piss JR off?

LordKooler's Smackdown review
1.JBL segment
JBL says that Theodore long not giving him the Smackdown championship last week after winning the six-man battle royal was a screwjob just like 1997's Montreal Screwjob at Survivor series 1997. Then JBL's music plays and his limo comes out, And when the driver opens the doors, ECW's bWo exit the limo. The bWo come out dressed up as JBL's former cabinet, Stevie richards is dressed up like Orlando jordan, Blue Meanie is dressed up like JBL, and Nova is dressed up like the Bashams . It's cool to see steven richards change his name back to Stevie richards and Mike Bucci getting rid of the Simon Dean gimmick and bringing back Nova, The name he used when he wrestled in ECW. Stevie richards talks about the incident between JBL and Blue meanie at the ECW one night stand PPV. Then Blue meanie challenges JBL to a match. After that, The bWo spray paint JBL's limo with the letters "bWo."
2.Chris benoit vs Booker T
The winner of the match faces Orlando jordan for the US title at Great american bash. Ever since winning the title from former Smackdown wrestler John cena a few months ago, Orlando jordan has been a boring US champion, He defends his title on Velocity but most of his matches on Smackdown as US champion are non-title matches. It reminds me of Big show's reign as US champion from October 2003 to March 2004. Chris benoit won at the end.
3.Blue Meanie vs JBL
Will Blue meanie's return to WWE last longer than his previous stint with WWE? During the match, Orlando jordan interfered and distracted the bWo. Then JBL does the clothesline from hell on Blue meanie and then Batista comes out and gives JBL the Spinebuster helping Blue meanie win the match.
4.Eddie guerrero & Rey mysterio vs MNM
Who would imagine Eddie guerrero and rey mysterio teaming with each other in a tag team match? These guys are fueding! During the match, Eddie guerrero left the ring and sat on a steel chair near the announcers table. When rey does the 619, Eddie attacks him and watches MNM pin rey mysterio to win the match. After that, Eddie talks about the "Secret" between Eddie & rey and says something about cutting the ropes.
5.Mexicools segment
This was originally supposed to be William regal's first match on Smackdown and Matt morgan's final match on Smackdown because matt morgan was released a few days ago. But the Mexicools interrupted and attacked Matt morgan while William regal was watching matt morgan get beat up. The Mexicools said that they will interrupt any Smackdown match every week. I think when the Mexicools interrupted Chavo guerrero's matches against Paul london, That caused Chavo to get rid of his latino heritage and change his name to Kerin White on his first appearance on RAW.
6.Undertaker vs Daivari
Undertaker easily won this match. But after Undertaker pinned Daivari, Five masked men who looked like terrorists attacked Undertaker. After those men attacked Undertaker, Muhammad Hassan gave Undertaker the Camel clutch and the five masked men carried daivari. Who were those guys?
7.Batista vs Christian
Batista won at the end. After that, JBL and Orlando jordan come out and JBL pushes Orlando jordan in front of Batista and Batista gives Orlando jordan the Batista bomb.

Oh yeah, Lesnar has probably had a deal since just before they went on WWE.com with this, they wouldn't acknowledge this stuff on WWE.com unless they had his ass, and want to try and drive some traffic into the site with it. He's signed, and what Brock said about the roster is a work that they'll incorporate into his character I'm sure when he gets back on TV.

For those curious about what happened with Meanie and JBL backstage, and the current and future plans for the bWo:

WHAT HAPPENED WHEN BLUE MEANIE SAW JBL BACKSTAGE AT SMACKDOWN, MEANIE'S WWE STATUS, AND WHY THE BWO IS BACK TOGETHER
by Mike Johnson @ 9:01:00 PM on 7/7/2005

As noted earlier this week on the PWInsider.com Elite section, WWE contacted Blue Meanie a week ago asking him to come to the Smackdown taping in Anaheim, California. Prior to the show, Meanie met with several WWE officials including Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis, who assured him there would be no problems with John Bradshaw Layfield.

When Layfield arrived at the taping, he and Meanie went into a side room privately and discussed their issues. The word going around among the wrestlers was that Bradshaw told Meanie that he didn't deny what happened at the ECW PPV, but that they could put their past issues behind them and do business, or they could take them into the ring that night and see what happened. Meanie obviously agreed to leave it in the past as he's not a fighter. There were a number of wrestlers who watched the match on the monitors waiting to see if JBL would take advantage of Meanie in the ring, but noted that instead he went far and beyond the call of duty to take care of Meanie and not do anything that could be construed as bullying him.

Reuniting the Blue World Order was a creative decision as they saw the reaction the trio got at ECW One Night Stand. The plan is to try and make a go of it with the characters and if it takes off, it's a positive. If the BWO doesn't translate to WWE and fails to get over, it will be seen as an experiment that didn't work but was worth attempting.

Meanie has yet to sign a deal but is expected to sign at least a short term agreement shortly. He's booked to appear at next Tuesday's Smackdown taping in Worcester, MA. Obviously all of this completely nullifies any talk of a potential lawsuit stemming from the ECW One Night Stand situation.

Your right. This is the third time HBK has turn his back on the fans. The 1st one was when he was no longer with Marty, the 2nd was the Montreal Screw Job with Bert Hart and now this with Hogan. This will be great, the Immortal against the Heart Break Kid.

At 7/7/05 01:29 AM, Dobio wrote: I'm just gonna comment on each person who got dropped, quickly, just to show it's not a big deal, and Vince really doesn't deserve to 'go to hell'.

Joy Giovanni

With the diva search contestants, they can bring in hotter people who don't have children, AND pay them less. Smart move.

Kenzo Suzuki and his wife

Has done nothing notable, jobbed out to basically everyone who they feuded with. The only memorable thing he's done was a rap face-off with him and John Cena, and that's BAD.

Matt Morgan

He had potential....his best asset was his mic work, and they saddled him with a stutter gimmick, not really his fault, but hey, without Carlito, there was really no need to keep him around, story wise. Plus, as avie mentioned, he was the Lesnar replacement, and with Lesnar coming back, well, no need for him anyway.

Charlie Haas

Everytime the guy wrestles, you can hear a pin drop, he has zero in ring charisma, whatsoever. You could argue that he wasn't pushed, but hey, shit happens, and I think the Hardcore Holly/Charlie Haas team was over because of Hardcore, not cause of Haas.

Jackie Gayda

See Joy Giovanni. Great honeymoon present, btw.

Marty Jannetty

He beat up his spouse, it was inevitable. Has no one to blame but himself. Plus, with an HBK heel turn, he's no longer useful.

Dawn Marie

She's pregnant, and she probably has a much bigger contract than someone like, as someone else mentioned, Melina, so she is no longer necessary.

Mark Jindrak

Absolutely useless, only reason he lasted this long is because of his friendship with Orton. Honestly, probably one of the worst wrestlers on the roster, before he was fired. His finisher was a fucking PUNCH for God's sake.

Maven

He didn't even get a FINISHER in three years! Good riddance.

Shannon Moore
Billy Kidman
James Yun (Akio)

I grouped these three together, cause they are all cruiserweights. And I am hoping that Kidman being fired means that Torrie Wilson is going to be cut too. Akio was the only one with any talent, whatsoever, so I'm sorry to see him go, but he had no gimmick, no charisma, and was expendable. They traded these three for Juvi, Super Crazy and Pischosis...not bad, if you ask me.

David Heath (Gangrel)

Awwww! No more Brood! Although, I really don't see why they signed him back if they weren't gonna use him.

Spike Dudley

All he did was take bumps and job, useless.

Kevin Fertig

Oh Mordeceai, we will miss you. Not.

ok i have to agree with some of what you said, but alot of it was just Bullshit.

Fireing Matt Morgan for one, this to me made no sense as he was on the verge of a major push. and could have easily snuck into Raw with Carlito as Davari did with MH. He is probably one of the more talented big guy's on the roster and was starting to get over.

Charlie Haas was very talented in the ring and pretty much carried the Haas and Holly team, listen to the crowd pop whenever he got a hot tag, he got the team over not Holly. Holly has never been over and if stories on the web are accurate at all he is a complete dick backstage, plus he has shot on other wrestlers in matches more than 3 times. Haas also had a built in feud if you think about it, and it's blindingly obvious to. They could have traded him to Raw and had him feud with Benjamin for the IC title, or they could have teamed up again to help a seriously ailing tag division.

Dawn Marie was just a sad heartless move, she's pregnant and now she is out of a job. What was vinces line of thinking here? "Hmm....she's pregnant that means she will no longer be able to strut around in her underwear....fired!" Dawn could have been a good valet like she was to Lance Storm in ECW, or they could have used her as the mouthpiece for someone who's mic skills arent that great.

The dudleyz had gotten stale and no they really havent done anything in awhile, but that's because the tag division is in shambles. And putting these two outta work does not help that situation in any way. Come on these guy's are legends bonified fucking legends period end of story. You would think that with all the recent popularity of ECW Vince would want to keep ECW's most remebered tag team. ECW ONS had alot of success and the dudleyz were a part of that, plus they looked to be in the best shape of their wwe careers.

Spike Dudley getting fired does not make much sense either, look at how popular ECW is becoming lately, he could have been used somewhere.

Kidman, Akio, and Moore.

Alright i will give you that Kidman can be boring in the ring sometimes but at other times he is phenominal. Look at his feud last year with London. When they kicked Heyman off creative they basicly took off that feuds legs and gave Kidman nothing to do.

Akio was great in the ring, they just never did anything with him after they traded Tajiri to Raw last draft.

I disagree with you 100% about Moore if you look at any of his matches where he wasent squashed in under 2 minutes you will see that he really does shine in the ring and he could have been used easily as he is decent on the mic and does not lack charisma.

Now I do understand why many of these people were fired but it is still sad to see them go and even sadder to see them getting critisized when they really dont deserve it.

Oh i forgot about Suzuki, all i have to say is they had weeks of promo's for him then jobbed him out to everyone on the roster, so much hype for nothing.
