They finally explained what the chain match will be. There's going to be a chain tied to a pole and whoever gets it first gets to use it.

My name is pepeatumi... But you already knew that!

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-10-12 19:01:05

then why say it's a chain match when it's a (Incert something here) on a pole match..

Yeah Stevie does keep it alive...wish they would give him a decent push.

Maybe they should bring Sean O'Haire to RAW and team him with Stevie Richards and push both as a tag team. O'Haire and Richards seem to have similar images, and I think O'Haire looks more suited to the RAW type of superstar (ie. freaks). I just really want both men to get a push, and you know a O'Haire/Richards tandem could take the Dudleys.
Rodney Mack probably won't be on RAW after. He's going to see just how great the extent of his injury is. The tagteam match will either be scrapped or Henry will get a new partner.
Finally, alot of people think Rene Dupree has a bright future, but Sylvan Grenier will go nowhere fast. What do you think? (i personally couldn't even tell them apart until maybe a week ago.)

well then what would you guys put in the main event? What to do with the three people left?

I'd ditch Henry. He had his shot and blew. Then I'd make it HBK vs.Goldberg. Michaels owes Goldberg for that Spear, and I think it would make RAW more interesting if evryone went after Goldberg for the money, not just heels. Like have the Dudleys jump him during a match and try to put him through a table. Or how about Rosey. That could also add an interesting element to his current angle. How does Hurricane deal with a sidekick who is willing to attack an innocent person for cash? or, better yet, Booker T is back tomorrow. I'm sure he'd like not only the cash, but another shot at the Heavyweight title.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-10-12 21:18:12

Booker T going after Goldberg would make sense..but some of the faces going after him for the money doesn't sound right...They could have Hurricane try and defend him..he is a super hero right?

I know it doesn't sound right, but it would sure grab you're attention of suddenly Goldust or RVD ran down to the ring and called him out. Plus, if you did that, you could give Goldberg a heel turn by having him become paranoid and start beating down anyone who even makes him remotely suspicious. Hell, you could even have people posing as audience members for Goldberg to attack. Maybe this just sounds better than it actually would be.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-10-12 21:32:13

Actually I think they are going to have "normal" people attack him, like some of the 24/7 hardcore title skits.

Nice new BBS pic BTW

For those of you who like smackdown your not going to like this: Because of the lower than expected ratings from the Iron man match, Vince came to the conclusion that a pure wrestling show does not sell. Smackdown may become more like Raw is now..

hoooboy..not good.

Thanks. The new sig is courtesy of -Z-
As for the ratings garbage, first thing is that most people probably don't want to watch an hour long match, and only tune in for maybe the last five minutes in order to see the winner (besides, all the highlights would only be played the following week)
Secondly, Vince blames Spike TV for RAWs low ratings, because since the station changed names "People can't find it" Thats crap. TNN advertised for about two monthes the name change, plus it was in the news the legal battle against Spike Lee.
Finally, Vince is an idiot with regards to who gets pushes. I can easily think of roughly 20+ superstars who would be better off jumping ship to NWA-TNA. I hope they sign Hogan. That might generate enough cash so they can become cable show as well. I can't afford PPV, and NWA seems like the superior fed. Also, the head writer (i can't remember his name) is a no talent hack.

Want the answer to all these problems and more? Its simple:

Bring back Paul Heyman.

He doesnt even have to be on TV just give him a creative role and WWE will dominate again......

Yeah, that'd be cool. As I've said before, when Heyman was in his corner, Big Show was my favorite Smackdown superstar. Now he's midcard at best. Now thats impressive, considering Big Show really doesn't have any arsenal whatsoever besides his chokeslam. Vince needs to just sit back and let Heyman handle Smackdown and Bischoff handle RAW. (I know someone will mention that WCW last years were shit, but Bischoff is still the man who came closest to putting WWE out of business)

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-10-13 11:34:17

i have to agree Paul Heyman would make the WWE a hell of a lot more interesting.

I can't say I miss him that much, but I do think he needs to go out with a bang. I mean, in his last run, he got beat by Rock, then a WRESTLEMANIA match against MCMAHON?! That was lame. Then he was Mr.America, with that tardesque "Who is Mr.America" tripe. Don't insult my intelligence. Then, when he unmasks, all we get is "You're fired." Hogan wasn't even there. No fanfare, no going out in a blaze of glory, nothing. Its like Hogan last run was simply a gimmick to launch the worst thing in sports entertainment, Zack Gowan.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-10-13 12:16:43

Hogan needs to go out in style..His years in wresrtling are up I think.

NWA on cable..that would be nice, then I might be able to see it!

Hogan's last match EVER should be at WMXX against either Rock, Stone Cold, Roddy Piper or Ric Flair (Flair should also retire after WMXX)

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-10-13 12:51:53

The problem was that Hogan was too much of a crybaby things had to be done his way.

and how vince acts about everything.

It turns out that is was Test's fault that he got injured. Officials say that while Shane was in mid air, Test moved his foot in the wrong place, causing it to be broken.

Did you guys hear in a recent interview Jericho said that he may retire in about two years. He also said that he doesn't care about winning titles only about entertaining the fans more proof that Jericho is one of the top superstars in wwe.

or how Undertaker refuses to put people over.

and did we really need more proof that Jericho is the greatest? I think thats an irrefutable fact.

Rook's RAW Review
Tonight's show seemed to have the theme "Squeeze in as many people as possible." Once again we start with Jericho's Austin bashing, and makes alot of good points about Shane. Its sort of a shame that Shane is a McMahon and not a superstar. Then I might like him. Rosey was at some crazy SHiT (okay, that was corny, like SHiT). Again with "Who tried to run over Goldberg?" I'm surprised no one implicated Storm. KANE LIVES!!! OMFG!!! And Jericho saved Trish from a brutish Steven Richards. To quote Hurricane: Wats up wit dat? Don't tread that road, Chris. The fella to go down Trish road was Jeff Hardy, and you know what happened to him.
RVD def. Scott Steiner - Not a bad match, but once again, Steiner logic breaks down. If you intend to use the chair, why even go after the IC title? You know you'll be disqualified. Anyway, I'm glad they didn't have Steiner back down. He's one of the only three guys I can picture having the cajones to strike Austin (the others being Goldberg and Kane) Still, it was too onesided. Steiner should've got in a few punches. And the Texas Rattlesnake is finally back. The man who cares for no one. Poor little Stacy. Shoulda drunk your beer.
Maven def. Rico - well, this didn't totally suck, but I was dissappointed about no Flair/Maven match, so that ruined it a bit for me. At least Rico wasn't flaming tonight. Hopefully though, Flair's deception will help build up Flair/Maven to be tremendous.
The Dudleys, Shane McMahon & Booker T def. Chris Jericho, Christian, Rene Dupree & Rob Conway - Best match of the night. Bookman is back! Still, a tables match? Oooo, how surprising. Spike came out and did stuff for no real reason. And wouldn't it have made more sense for Booker to put Christian through the table for the win? Use continuity. Rob Conway and Booker have no history. And don't manhandle Coach. The man was Employee of the Month!
Trish, Ivory & Lita def. Victoria, Molly & Gail Kim - I didn't watch it all. Why are they hyping Trish/Victoria over the Womens Championship? The belt should be more important than a silly fucking bitch fight.
Goldberg & Shawn Michaels def. Mark Henry, Ric Flair and Randy Orton - They cancelled Flair/Maven for this garbage. Lets take it step by step. First off, we have a Goldberg/Michaels standoff interrupted by Tommy Dreamer, who gets the fucking shaft again. Michaels grabs the kendo stick, but doesn't whack Goldberg. Flair rants like a fucking idiot and for no real reason, Theodore Long comes out. Bischoff makes an idiotic match. Wait, where did Dreamer go? Why couldn't he have been Henry's partner? The Flair/Maven could've still gone ahead. Dreamer fucking owns Henry and Goldberg. Put him in a main event (And not a Heat main event). We get a bullshit main event that not even Michaels could save, Goldberg did fuck all the whole time, but still gets to have the win. The only justice in any of this was Goldberg being on the receiving end of a little sweet chin music. If Michaels doesn't win the title next week, I hope Gershwitz, or whatever that untalented hacks name is has a heart attack.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-10-14 07:54:18

but heart attacks are bad...lol i didn't get to watch Raw but the -rook- review is always good on a early tuesday morning.

I think Rosey should turn on the Hurricane and become a super villian. Can't have two hero's and no super villins to fight.

Do you suppose theres a direct correlation between RAW being exceptionally good, and HHH not being there in any way, shape or form? The only thing that would've made last night perfect was if we could've taken the Maven match seriously (Give Rico a good gimmick. He's a great athlete and needs to be able to show it. Hell, lose the gay gimmick, and he'd be a first rate contender for the IC title!) and Mark Henry ruined the main event. If Goldberg had been more active and Henry was gone, It would've been perfect. And JR sucked last night. Why did act like he couldn't believe Goldberg could lift Henry? He did it last week, you idiot. I think the perfect announce team would be The Coach and The Rock as color commentator.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-10-14 12:50:52

Coach and Rock?? eh..

If the show was great with no HHH..them maybe managment will see that it does not need to revolve around him..and they could concentrate on making the storys better and...whoa!

Yeah, I mean, Rock's got great mic skills, and if he did come back, I personally wouldn't accept him as a wrestler again. I f Rock was a color commentator, ANYONE could be a suitable partner (accept King). JR is ok, but his day is done. Give Coach a shot. He's pretty good. (not the greatest, but definitely up there)
