With injuries on TV though, you basically have to assume their fake unless you hear different, most times if somebody gets hurt in the ring, they don't put huge amounts of focus on it, you can also try watching the ref when it looks like a guy is hurt, because if he's REALLY hurt, the ref is going to make an X with his arms so that everyone in the back knows a legit injury occured. The only way to really know though is to go to a reputable site, because WWE dosen't feel the need to tell you when somebody gets legit hurt or something, they like to make up such genius angles as the guy getting stabbed in a night club or something.

Whoa,
I never took notice of the refs doing that.
Great Post.

Yup i knew that, i soon as seen HBK do the elbow and grab his knee right after, i was watching the ref, he looked towards JR and The King had made some sort of symbol, the match ended in a roll up and HBK was attented to right after the match.

This led to him being injured at Taboo Tuesday and not getting a descent title shot, when he won the poll voting *&^%&*%%$$!!!!!!!!!

I started watching WWE again right after WrestleMania and I stopped watching it last year when Brock Lesnar left. So I have a few questions:

1. What happened to Scott Steiner?
2. What happened to Goldberg?
3. What happened to Kevin Nash?

Steiner developed "drop foot syndrome" I believe, and was out for quite some time, however when he was medically cleared, WWE decided to let his contract run out, rather then try using him on TV again. They really did nothing with him, and I have to wonder if the only reason he was brought in was just to wreck another WCW star, and feed him to Vince's handpicked "greatest champion of all time" in Triple H.

2. What happened to Goldberg?

Goldberg had his last match at Wrestlemania 20, severely unhappy with the way the company used and treated him, he's in every interview since trashed every aspect of the company from creative, right on down to how the Mcmahons run the company. I also have to wonder if they didn't just sign him hoping for a temporary ratings pop, and then to feed him to Triple H.

3. What happened to Kevin Nash?

Nash got injured...a lot, and ultimately, WWE just didn't feel it was worth the money to keep him on the roster since he was getting major injuries that were keeping him at home so much, and they really didn't have anything meaningful to do with him.

Apparently, they're all inactive right now as well. That sucks.
Anyway, wont Randy RKOing Taker fuck up his shoulder or something. i thought it needed a few months to heal

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-06-16 16:04:21

Scott Steiner is now fucked up with a muscle disease due to steroids.
Goldberg left because he hated HHH and WWE didn't have a good angle for him.
Kevin Nash is on TNA and is trying to leave TNA.

The_Hurricane checked the spoilers for tonights episode, and somebody else checked online to see the draft pick. They do it before the show, i think. Do they draw it at one of the house shows or in private?

Woaah you guys....Smackdown is taped on Tuesdays...did you know that? then it is edited and aired on Thursdays. I have a website that i go to, which hires people to attend the SD! taping then report back and give the spoilers, thats all there is to it. SD! is not live, if anyone did not know. once again, it is taped on Tuesday, then aired on Thursday.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-06-16 18:34:45

Are the Pay-Per-Views taped(dumb question)?

Ya, PPV's are live and RAW is live. But yes, like you said, the reason somethings on SD! are bleeped are because it is edited, and on RAW, anything goes, but most of the wrestlers are tame and none cross the line.

Brock Lesnar is gonna try-out for the Minnisota Vikings this year. He did last year too.

Heh, Brock will try-out again, but last year he didn't even make the practice squad, it was kind of said, big mistake of his life leaving the company in my opinion, i never did him tho.

He'll come back once he finds out Matt Morgan is doing his F-5.

heh I don't think so. the f-5 was something brock learned from WWE trainers so he really has no say if they use the move with somebody else.

LordKooler's Smackdown review
1.Chris Benoit vs Doug Basham
JBL and his Cabinet start off Smackdown by talking about ECW One night stand and Chris Benoit. Then Chris benoit comes out and his match with Doug basham starts. After Benoit won, JBL and his Cabinet attack him until The Undertaker comes out and saves Benoit. The Bashams quit The cabinet later in the show.
2.Eddie guerrero vs Paul London
Paul London wants revenge on Eddie guerrero for interrupting his match against Akio last week. After Eddie won by submission, Rey mysterio came out and attacked Eddie.
These two will wrestle each other next week on Smackdown live from Tucson, Arizona.
3.Carlito's Cabana
Carlito's guests for tonight's cabana are Booker T & his wife Sharmell. They talk about Kurt angle getting drafted to RAW and Booker T said that he wanted Angle to go to RAW in the first place so he can leave Booker T's wife alone. Then Sharmell said if Her or Booker T get drafted to RAW, They would give Carlito some thing to remember. Booker T attacked Carlito in the end.
4.Matt Morgan vs Big Show
Two years ago, Matt morgan & Big show were members of Brock lesnar's team in Survivor Series 2003. Now both men are feuding because of Carlito's feud with Big show. The match ended in a DQ and Matt attempts to put Big show through the announcer's table with an F-5, But Big show puts matt through the table with a chokeslam.
5.Orlando Jordan vs Hardcore Holly
Not much to say about this one. But Orlando jordan won at the end.
6.Heidenreich segment
Heidenreich comes out with a giant Hershey chocolate bar because he's in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Home of Hershey's, The company that makes Chocolate. Heidenreich talks about chocolate until the Smackdown divas come out and hand out chocolate to the crowd. One of them give Heidenreich a Hershey Kiss and then MNM come out and Melina says that the divas and Heidenreich are getting fat by eating chocolate. Then one of the divas attack Melina while Heidenreich attacks Mercury & Nitro. But Mercury & Nitro manage to get revenge on Heidenreich by attacking him in the end.
7.JBL vs Undertaker
Before the match, Chris Benoit came out and attacked Orlando jordan and their fight went backstage. Leaving JBL all alone in the ring. During the match, When the Undertaker about to finish off JBL, Randy Orton came out and gave Undertaker the RKO! Resulting in JBL's win. Then Randy Orton said that he is Smackdown's 2nd pick in the draft.

This is true, but even on the live shows there is about a 30-second delay, which means that while the show is live, they are showing it on tv about 30 seconds behind the actual event, this way if someone were to screw up and say one of the seven words you can't say on television, or they catch someone's body part being exposed that they don't want exposed, the censors can get the bleep, or the blur, in where required.

PPV's are as far as I know pretty much live, they don't do the delay, but censors are on hand just in case, but they are NOT required because of the nature of PPV. Still pissed they censored so much of the ECW PPV, they should have just rated it TV-MA, and been done with it. Hopefully the bleeps will get removed for DVD. I also hear the botched Doring and Roadkill segment is probably going back in, which is good, but JBL is doing alternate commentary, which is bad, REAL bad, since he dosen't deserve the check, and because I think he'll just run the product down.

It was one of the best SD! I had seen for a long while. The Undertaker returned after two months' absence. And Randy Orton was also drafted to SD! which is awesome because Triple H is just a stupid ass on Raw and has every chance to challenge Batista. If Orton still wants to win the tittle, SD! would be a good place. By the way, as Orton costed Undertaker's game, their feud will probably get burned up again. Next week's SD! will be awesome as I expect a "Legend vs Legend Killer" rematch.

Pretty much :\

Orton compared to Angle is like comparing dog shit to a steak dinner. X_X

Smackdown can make Orton better if they just put him in better matches and try and make him champ again. But there is no belt on smackdown, so yeah, orton sucks right now

My favorite would have to be Kurt Angle, then Batista, and then HHH. :)
