Your mom.

The thing I like about Batista is that he's the same deal as Snitsky, Tomko, Heidenriech, but he doesn't act like a total moron. He's actually quite calm and collected, not some berseker animal like the examples.

Tomko = fail
Heidenriech = to imcompitent
Snitsky = power hungry superhero
Batista = the next big thing
This is how they go in order, from Batista up.

I'm looking foreward to the SD review tonight, seeing I have no TV. I hope something honorable happens tonight. I'm just getting sick of tricks. >:(

LordKooler's Smackdown review
1.Eddie Guerrero & Booker T vs The Bashams rating:****
Before the match, Smackdown GM Theodore long came out and says that Kurt angle must apologize to Joy Giovanni for what happened last week. But if he doesn't apologize, He will be taken out of the Triple threat match for the WWE Championship at the Royal rumble and will never get another title shot in 2005. But the tag team match was great. Great double team moves from Eddie & Booker T. While Orlando Jordan was distracting the referee & Eddie, The bashams didn't do a switcharoo, Danny attempted to knock out eddie with a tag team title belt but eddie countered and hit Danny with the title. But at the end, Eddie got disqualified and the Bashams are still Tag team champions. Booker T got attacked at the end but eddie saved him.
2.Akio vs Scotty 2 Hotty rating:***1/2
This is the type of match you would see on Velocity. But during the commercial break, I saw the world premiere of the trailer for the new John Travolta movie Be Cool. The trailer has The Rock playing a bodyguard with an afro. Anyway, Back to the match. It was cool to see Scotty 2 Hotty return and get a spot in the royal rumble. And for Akio, Why don't they give him a push?
3.Heidenreich segment rating:***1/2
A decent segment. Carlito comes out and several people sign his petition. Then he says he doesn't like Montreal. What's to hate about Montreal? It has lots of minorities, It's Canada's second largest city, It's the home of McGill university, It's also the home of the NHL's Montreal Candiens that won 24 Stanley cups and were the Toronto maple leafs' rivals during the Original 6 era. Then Heidenreich comes out and signs the petition and says he doesn't like theodore long. Then the lights go out and Undertaker appears talking about the casket match. And opens a coffin with a man who looks like heidenreich inside.
4.John cena vs Rene dupree rating:***1/2
A decent match. Cena came out wearing a montreal canadiens jersey beofre the match. Rene dupree got a mixed reaction. Getting cheers & boos. When La Resistance won the RAW tag team titles last year in Montreal, Everybody cheered them. After John cena won, Kenzo suzuki attacked him.
5.rey mysterio vs chavo guerrero rating:***
A good match. Rey won at the end to get a spot in the royal rumble.
6.Kurt angle segment rating:**1/2
A very boring segment to start off Smackdown. Angle apologizes to Joy and says he kidnapped Joy last week. Then Big show & JBL & his cabinet come out. JBL & Angle team up to attack Big show at the end.

yo, thanks for the summary. it wasn't great but it was good enough. I HAD NO IDEA SCOTTY TOO HOTTY WAS STILL ON THE ROSTER!! i just started watching wrestling again after over four years of not watching and DAMN there's a lot of shit different... i knew about the whole smackdown and raw separation, but the hardys are gone (or matt's on the DL?) and the rock and steve austin are missing and there's a shitload of new guys... it's cool, but we need more guys like the rock and steve austin.

i also agree with some people up there about batista. he's going places. a dude of his stature AND his level-headedness is someone you don't want to fuck with. HE LIFTED VISCERA!!! another person i thought was gone.... the more things change, the more they stay the same...

so yeah... this is a crucial thread, good lookin out. i'm probly gonna show my face here sometimes.

p.s. the girls are better now too. i'll leave it at that.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-01-21 08:08:46

Hey, at least akio was on SD this time. The best match of the night was the chavo/mysterio match. Poor eddie, this is like 3 weeks in a row that he has lost a match.

welp, with the RR in the not to distant future, we need some rumble predictions! If Batista is in it I think he will either win or have one hell of a major impact.

I wonder if I can find a list of who is actually in the rumble..

So, what's this all about?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-01-21 18:38:18

Dude, you guys have made me not like cena so much >:(. lol, i found myself laughing as cena got that face grip slam (wtf?) by Kenzo. I dont see whats so special with akio, though, so i guess you havent converted me fully yet. Im still a sucka for the faces.
Can anyone see eddie or booker turning heel soon enough, like an eddie losing streak and him attacking rey or Book. And did S2H actually have cancer in the "lower extremities"?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-01-21 23:59:18

I'm not real sure on the cancer thing.

Akio is just one of those guys who is extremly talented but not being used. That seems to happen to much.

whats this all about? Pro Wrestling, WWE mostly since it's really the most dominating.

I really don't get how Cooler didn't give the Cruiser match four stars, or at least 3 and a half, that match had all the action and high flying spots of cruisers, but also great psychology and timing. It was one of the best television matches I've seen in awhile, and actually beat out some stuff I've seen on PPV of late. The tag title match was also great, and really makes me scratch my head that Eddie and Booker are not being used in higher positions, it's insane to me that they push lumps like JBL and Suzuki as top attractions, then allow Eddie and Booker to form a tag team out of lack of anything else to do with them.

At 1/22/05 01:36 PM, The_Redangleprince wrote: Kraidle and I have been discussing this, what are you guy's thought on Rey Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero, and how they compare to one another?

I think they're both incredible, although I feel because Rey is more over, he's restrained more in the ring then Chavo is (because Rey has to hit the "619 into some damn move off the rope") Rey has a lot of high flying, there's no doubt Rey is probably the best flyer active right now, and while he has a good grasp of match psychology I feel, he's mostly doing a lot of "spot work". With Chavo, I think because there isn't as much pressure on him, he can pretty much show his whole arsenal. Chavo has a great mat based game I feel, and is horribly underrated in this area because of his size, and the fact that he's a "Cruiser" and most people just expect Cruisers to be flyers. Chavo also can take to the air with the best of them. I think Chavo is probably the more balanced of the two, and probably the better wrestler (although I feel like Rey is restrained by the company and the fans because he's developed an act that works, and people want him to stick to that act).

Well...yeah, not always. The really interesting thing about TNA is their X-Division. But when it comes to the Heavyweights. It reall y seems that they act so fake.

I think Chavo is the more blanced wrestler, but rey has more crazy moves going for him that make the crowd go nuts.

Chavo has had a few bad ones, but they were usually not his fault, it would be the person he's trying to have a match with.

what don't you like about carlito? I really can't judge on his wrestling skills yet since he got hurt so early on.

Have you noticed that a lot of wrestlers new to the WWE get hurt rather quickly? I think their ring is too hard. Mick Foley has said that the WWE rings are a lot harder than most to get the best sound out of it. So When rookies and new talent comes to WWE expecting what they are used to they find that the matt has no give and get hurt. This is my theory anyway.. What do you think?

I hate his attitude, and the way he's trying to get Teddy removed. Teddy is doing a fine job as GM right now.

Yeah, I've noticed it over the years too. :/

I think their ring is too hard. Mick Foley has said that the WWE rings are a lot harder than most to get the best sound out of it.

Well, they are playing to a large stadium. I'm guessing they want the fans in the nose bleed section to hear all the slams too.

So When rookies and new talent comes to WWE expecting what they are used to they find that the matt has no give and get hurt.

I think you're right on man. But all's they need are a few easy matches to toughen up a bit, and they should familiarize themselves with the ring that way they can get a better feel of it when they are wrestling.

......this isn't making any sence is it?

Isnt the carlito trying to get teddy out just a storyline? or does he actually not like teddy. Im getting bored of Teddy now, hes been GM for too long, faces get boring after a while. We want someone like bischoff who can be heel and kind of face sometimes

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-01-24 13:19:26

he's doing it storyline wise so he can still be seen on tv while he is hurt. That way we don't forget about him while he is recovering. So basicly it's just a way WWE keeps him fresh in our minds.

Also on the subject of the ring it is actually a tad bigger than most rings, with the exception of TNA's ring since that thing is just huge. I remember when RVD had a ladder match with Jeff Hardy. Hardy was hanging onto the cable where the belt is and rvd tried to spin kick him from teh top rope and missed since he was used to a smaller ring.

I think it really dosen't have much to do with the rings, I know Mic also said that WWE had changed the rings around 98 or 99 because the old rings were too hard, had almost no give, and people got hurt on them left and right. So they went to something softer that had more give and spring to it. I think the injuries happening lately is a combination of just unfortunate accidents (Eugene, Carlito), risks not paying off (Lita), and guys coming up too quickly, and then paying the price because of it. Bad things happen in wrestling, and I'm honestly surprised more people aren't getting hurt with all the green moron's they keep bringing up who look sloppy and terrible in that ring.

On Carlito: You think it'll take a year for him to turn face Red? I think it'll be about 3 to 4 months after he's healed and working regularly.

He has a really good heel gimmick, but so did The Rock, and people turned him face. That's what I see happening with Carlito, it's not that they're going to want to turn him face, I think it's going to be a situation where fans turn him face.

Besides, I want to see him spit in the face of People who aren't cool. Like JBL :O

Typing this crap up again... I want to kill my cats right now.

Kraidle's RAW IS... REVIEW! Pissed Edition
******
Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit vs. Christian, Tyson Tomko & Edge: 3.5/5
Hey, not a bad way to start off RAW, as 6-man tags are usually pretty good, and this one didn't go out of the usual. Anyway, Benoit rolled up Tomko after Michaels did a little Sweet Chin Music on his goatee.

JR Day:
Basically, it went down like this: JR Day declared in Oklahoma, JR, fossil and Stacy go down. Hunter and Flair crash the celebration, hit JR, fossil hits Hunter, gets taken out for his troubles, and Stacy is just about to get Pedigreed, but Randy comes to the rescue. Yep, that's it in a nutshell.

Evolution I:
Well, Hunter and Flair wanted to tell Batista what they had done (and do), but Batista tells them that he has decided to accept Bischoff's offer, so that the World Heavyweight Championship would stay in EVOLUTION, like Hunter said last week.

Batista Segment:
Well, let me note what happened here. Coach got a spot in The Rumble instead of Regal (what a fucking waste), and a match was made. If Batista won against BOTH La Resistance, he would get his spot at The Rumble, if not La Resistance would get 2 spots.

Tajiri vs. Viscera: 0/5
An OVER-THE-FUCKING-TOP-ROPE match. Obviously Viscera won. Waste of air time? Absolutely. I mean, seriously...

Getting Back:
Well, Tajiri was going to get interviewed by Maria, but then Regal came up and wanted Tajiri's help to "get back" at Bischoff, whatever the fuck that means.

Batista vs. La Resistance: 2.6/5
Meh, not the best match these individuals could've made, in my opinion. It ended with a double spinebuster. I don't think I need to say WHO won, now do I?

Val Venis vs. Muhammad Hassan: 2.8/5
AH! Daivari would not shut the fuck up! But the match was a tad better than the one the preceded it. Hassan won, earning him a spot in The Royal Rumble. I actually like that finisher Hassan has been using. I think I'm gonna steal it from him.

Evolution II:
Hunter comes in, and explains that he has now covered all the bases for this Sunday, as he has landed a spot for Ric Flair in The Royal Rumble. And they are so happy about it that they huddle up! Yay! Oh, wait...

Maven vs. Kane vs. Gene Snitsky: 1.8/5
Ugh, Maven said that whomever already had a spot, could go down and wrestle him for it, but Kane and Snitsky come down, all bandaged up and shit, and everything that they do "makes them hurt". Meh. Kane chokeslammed Maven for an easy win.

Stone Cold Update:
Steve Austin made a deal with WWE Films to make 3 of them. Damn, they're bored.

Edge Interview:
Edge bitches about Michaels, what else? Step up in the Pay-Per-View, you whiny Canadian assclown.

Randy Orton vs. Ric Flair: 3.7/5
Oh, and finally we get a good match after a night of mostly crap! Randy gets cut early on in the match, and Batista gets ejected from ringside because of something Hunter did. Anyway, Randy won the match all bloodied up, and also saved his leg, which was going to get belted on (by Hunter) before the ending of the match.
******

One last question... WHO IN THE BLUE FUCKING HELL BELOW OUR NOBLE EARTH IS CHRIS MASTERS?!?!?!?!

Okay, I'm off. Later, mortals!
