youo never can tell whose side HBK is on, and you know he's going to be looking for reenge on at least two of them, 3 if you count batista just being a part of Evolution. So It's really up in the air. I would really shake things up if jericho won.. since everybody here thinks he won't.

At 1/9/05 03:08 AM, Kraidle wrote: Here are my predictions for New Year's Revolution:

And because I never know the card and like to sponge off others, I shall predict too!!!!

Lita vs. Trish Stratus:
I doubt that Lita is ready to drop the title just yet, even less so to Trish, so I think that she will defend it succesfully.

Yeah, I see this as yet another "Lita goes crazy and all beats the shit out of her opponent" type thing since I guess they want to make Lita the hardcore chick in the women's division.

Kane vs. Gene Snitsky:
Who the hell knows what will happen here? Most of us got fucked over at Taboo Tuesday, so it may repeat itself. I HOPE Kane wins. Even though his wrestling sucks, his character is goon, unlike Test-clone Snitsky.

I see Kane winning this since he's just coming back, and is out for revenge, besides, I think like Heidenreich, WWE realizes Snitsky won't really be around long. I figure they'll have a brutal bout with a lot of hard shots, slow movement, and maybe some plunder, and then Kane comes out on top.

Jerry Lawler vs. Muhammad Hassan:
Hassan, SHUT THE FUCK UP! OUR people (Latin-Americans) suffered for hundreds of years before we even knew about the Arabs, so you have NO room to speak in Puerto Rico! Anywho, I think he'll get the rub on The King, like Isca said, with the help of the manager.

Hassan MUST WIN HERE! There is no two ways about it, Hassan has to beat Lawler or he has absolutely no future left. Just having his first feud be with Jerry Lawler is already a strike against him (not knocking Lawler or what he's accomplished, but he ain't a full-time wrestler, and when you fight Lawler, you're usually not going anywhere). Hassan will probably win after interference from Davairi I agree with that prediction.

Shelton Benjamin vs. Maven:
Maven sucks. Next fight.

I think Maven could use the win, or could at least do with this feud continueing, I see him winning by count out, or being disqualified so that the feud can continue, but the belt dosen't change hands.

William Regal & Eugene vs. Christian & Tyson Tomko:
Hmm... I think that the champions will retain. I feel like Christian and Tomko are ready for the championship, but I think it's too early for the champions to lose.

WWE dosen't give much of a crap about the tag belts of either brand, I think they'll keep it on Regal and Eugene since the fans like them, and I don't see them really having plans for Christian and Tomko in this division.

Elimination Chamber w/Shawn Michaels as referee:
There's no way I'm going to write all those names. Here's the order I think they'll all be eliminated in:
Jericho: I would love him to win, but he's there as the extra, as he's always a contender for the title.
Edge: There's no way Shawn will let him win after Taboo Tuesday, so he goes next.
Randy Orton: I don't see him winning, plain and simple.
Chris Benoit: The only reason I see him losing is because he will likely feud with Edge.
Triple H: There's ABSOLUTELY no way Shawn will let him win after 7 years of rivalry.
So the winner is... Batista! Yay! Evolution is going to crumble from the foundation! Go Batista!

I think that is a good way to go at this point since Triple H would be obviously jealous of Batista, and you can head into Mania with that so long as Batista and H didn't fight in the Chamber (but ESPECIALLY if Batista cost H the victory). There's also the scenario where Batista costs H the victory yet dosen't win the title, thus H and Batista can have a grudge match at Mania, and Randy Orton headline with someone like maybe HBK in the title match. They have a few other options too, but those are probably they're two best to make sure that this allows them to set up the RAW main event for Mania, we all know that as bad as SD has been, RAW is going to have to carry the show unless some major changes are made on SD

And damn it, I'm not just watching... I'm going. I'm gonna see those bastards massacre each other today, live!

I'm going to sleep now.
Bye!

and I do read jour review kraidle but not look in the profile but speaking devil I probably will.

On to create a belt it says to play online with friends. So you both have belts and if you win you take your friends belt I assume or you get a win lose record I dont know. Maybe you get 3000 if you win it would suck if you lost your $180,000 belt when your so-called friend was risking a plastic $10,OOO belt. Anyways it says also the creat a belt can be compete on the create a ppv with friends online or 2-6 players I offline.

Yeah, but judging by what the wwe is doing things latley. Doing something this cool is just beyond their comprehension.

If they let people on Newgrounds write for the wwe it would be so cool, but sense that's not the case...

You know something? I think I would've been pissed at the PPV had I watched it from my home. But tame my word for it, as dissapointing as the results were, I didn't give a rat's ass. Just being there, calling Maven a faggot, feeling the heat from Kane's and Jericho's pyrotechnics (and I was seated pretty high), and just feeding off of the energy. I can say I had the best time of my life.

And I think Batista will realize his mistake tomorrow, and screw over Evolution, because the man got the best ovation I've ever seen. We were chanting "Batista!" after the cameras went off the air, and he even came out, just because of that.

AND they sold DVDs and shirts dirt-cheap. :)

Some backstage news:
WWE made the decision to run Benjamin vs. Maven as a quick "gimmick" type match after extremely negative house show reviews came in for their preliminary matches. WWE clearly did not believe the two were ready to work a strong match on the PPV, and it is believed that the negative feeling had much more to do with Maven than Benjamin.

I thought this wa a brutal waste of time.

- As reported, WWE definitely rushed to an ending in the Lita-Trish match due to Lita's injury after a botched Lou Thesz press.

Which sucked.
- WWE was generally not too proud of the Puerto Rican PPV, with the feeling that the Elimination Chamber was the only somewhat decent match.

yeah it kinda was, but the opening match was fairly entertaining. To me this PPV was more dissapointing than anything else. After all that HHH still gets the title. wtf.... I know WWE wants it to be HHH vs. orton at WM so thats something to look forward to.

First of all...let me just say...is it just me or have I been away from this crew too damn much?

Well...once again I have to make belated PPV predictions...but since I went to wwe.com and saw that Trish Stratus won and Triple H won, I can't make predictions for them, otherwise I would cheat on my ppv record for New Year's Revolution.

Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Muhammad Hassan. Muhammad Hassan. It's the premiere of this guy, not to mention The King hasn't wrestled in a long time.

William Regal and Eugene vs. Christian and Tyson Tomko, World Tag-Team Championship. WWE can't let Eugene keep a title for long...otherwise the WWE is messed up...oh wait, I forgot, the WWE allready is messed up via JBL's lengthy title reign. Oh well...Christian and Tyson Tomko.

Shelton Benjamin vs. Maven, Intercontinental Championship. With Maven now as a heel, I predict Maven wins and adds the Intercontinental Championship to the other titles he's won (Hardcore and Tag-Team. I know he's won Hardcore...I'm not sure about Tag-Team)

Kane vs. Gene Snitsky. last time they met, Gene won. This is the return of Kane, and I see a huge win for Kane.

results

Muhammad Hassan wins

Christian and Tyson Tomko lost

Maven lost...twice

Kane wins.

So even if I would've said Trish and HHH won, I would've ended up 4-2, not perfect. And also if I would've said Trish and HHH lost, I wouldv'e ended up 2-4, not perfect loss. I had a feeling HHH would've won anyway. I mean think about it. on January 3rd, Triple H lost to Randy Orton, Chris Jericho lost to Edge, and Chris Benoit lost to Batista, so they have high hopes of winning the title. and the week before that, Chris Jericho had the slowest time to beat (10:47), so technically Chris Jericho should've won...right? The way I see it, there are three heels in the Elimination Chamber match, Batista, Edge and HHH, and since HHH was losing a lot, it's only given that he'd get the title back.

To answer your question, yeah it has been a while since we saw you last but it's always good to see you back.

I was kinda hoping for a jericho win. They have made the point that it has been 3 years since he last had the title and his last title run with the IC belt was horribly short.

Anyone interested in reading my rant on HHH's win
(It may look familiar if any of you frequent WZForums. I posted this over there under the name PandaMan :p)

I don't care about all the alledged backstage politicing, I don't care about who he's married to, and I sure as hell don't give a fuck about his wrestling talent, his mic skills or his drawing power. All I know is that I am just plain sick and tired of seeing Triple H in the heavyweight title scene, same reason why I began to hate Rey Mysterio in the CW division. And it isn't in the good heel heat way, like JBL has. This is the "I don't want to see this fucker on my screen anymore." And I don't blame Triple H, not completely. I blame the godawful writers and Vince McMahon, since they obviously don't have a fucking clue as to how to write new and compelling story lines.
People will make excuses like "oh, but Jericho or Edge wouldn't have drawing power..." Well, fuck that shit. That's why they are a CREATIVE department. They have to MAKE us give a fuck about the two wrestlers going into a match, regardless of who they are. Now I'm no professional writer, but any writer that's worth there salt should be able to get ANYONE over. Of course, I acknowledge that there are limitations as to what people can do, but when you have guys like Benoit, Jericho, Edge, Orton, Batista and even non maineventers with mainevent potential such as Matt Hardy or Kane, then there is no fucking excuse to redoing the same old bullshit over and over. After all, lets say Edge won. He's gonna feud with HBK. HBK has drawing power, and as previously stated, any good writer should be able to get Edge over at a mainevent level. And even IF they need to add a little something, they can always toss in a third man or a good stipulation. But no, the WWE decides that they want to keep Triple H perpetually in the limelight, because they know and we know that they are too stupid to do anything even remotely new, so they keep giving us the same old tired out Triple H vs. the Plucky Underdog Face ad nauseum. This has been going on for what? Two or three years? Enough is E-Fucking-Nough.
That's really all I can think of to say at the moment.

I was at Raw last night! Damn it was a good show to see live. Trish and Molly Holly had a Dark match where trish won at the end.

When HBK came out and the canadian fans started chanting and he said stay in your own country the entire place just went crazy with laughter... and speaking of that, after the show "Ended" all the participents of the elimination chamber came out and had a six-man tag.. cept it was really funny! They were doing weird antics, one of my favorits being Benoit would chop one of the heels.. oh yeah the teams are HHH/Batista/Edge vs. Jericho/Benoit/Orton and they would jump out of the ring holding their chest and go up the ramp. He eventually did this to all three and when they all got on the ramp Edge pretended to faint and HHH pretended to gave him CPR. It was just a hilarious match. The crowd was literally in stiches, they didn't do much moves wise but no one cared. The heels won at the end after Batista hit his finisher on Benoit.

I sat by where they do commentary. Picture this: The ramp, King and J.R, where I was sitting. During the breaks my friends and I cheered at king and J.R and got some chants going and they were waving and saying hello.
The entire arena was chanting Batista after both matches.. man this guy is over. As you may have noticed everyone cept HHH had already competed, orton and batista came right back out after their match for that last one.

Biggest Heat:
HHH
Mahammad
Simon Dean
Coach
Edge

Biggest Pops:
HBK
Orton
Batista
Jericho

Yeah I had fun, but I didn't get very good pictures.

Word has it that Lita and Eugene are indeed injurec. Lita has a torn ACL (ouch) and will require sergery and a few months of rehab. No word yet on how bad Eugene is hurt.

For those of you who saw the promo for "The Masterpiece" we saw him on the pre-taping of heat.. We were all chanting "Who are you!" as he beat up a local worker. His finisher looks ok though. He comes off as a Rando Orton wannabe though..

Heat stuff:
Local guy vs. The Masterpiece-see above

Steven Richards vs. Tajiri
Crowd was really into this one and a huge pop for the buzzsaw. Tajiri won at the end with said move. As Stevie was leaving up the ramp he taunted by pointing at his crotch. Funny stuff

Val vs. La' Resistance guy (they didn't say his name and I couldn't get a good look at his face and they wore identicla tights)
La 'resistance won but teh crowd was dead for this one.

Coach got huge heat just by walking out. He gave this bald drunk guy a dirty look and we all gave him the bird. again, funny stuff.
