alright listen up! wwe is all good and well for entertainment but it is not real wrestling and i would know because i am on the team at my school and its not all jumpy punchy bouncy drop-kicks it requires a lot of strength and should never be compared to wwe.

The day I see that icon on these forums is the day I quit the internet forever.

Has anyone here ever done that? Or anyone with half a brain done that? We recognize it's two different things.

As for the Triple H quesion, Hunter did miss some time, remember the bounty on Golderg? That was so the storyline could continue while H shot his part in Blade Trinity. Rock stars in movies, Hunter does not, that's one of the reasons why their time missed is different. Rock really isn't even a wrestler anymore, so it's impossible to really say he's "missing time".

you made the team eh? Good job, I did the same damn thing when I went to high school, I know the difference. I went to practice every day, worked my ass off, competed and fought to get some wins. I'm still a pro wrestling fan, my experience didn't change that, so what is your problem? Kurt is a legit gold medalist and look what he's doing.

Yeah ol bob needs to be canned. Long overdue in my eyes.

All right, people. I'm sorry like crap it's late, but school was a bitch to me this week. Making 6 projects in 3 days just doesn't leave you with a lot of free time. But anywho, here it is.

DARVEL'S (formerly Kraidle) RAW IS... REVIEW!
******
NFL Spoof:
I don't watch the NFL, but I do watch Best Week Ever. THAT was a pretty good McMahon moment, if there ever was one. If you want to see it, go to WWE.com. It should still be there.

Benoit Segment:
Yeah, the Rabid Wolverine was in charge for this RAW. He came out to talk about the matches for the night, namely the one for the title. Which would be in a steel cage, OH MAH GAWHD! Then he ordered the first match to start.

Maven vs. Gene Snitsky: 1.9/5
If I begin to tell you how boring this match was, I will fall to sleep. Watching Snitsky with that pink-eye was more entertaining than the match per se. But alas, Snitsky easily overcame Maven, taking both of Test's finishers into account.

Evolution Segment:
Tempers were boiling inside the ranks of Evolution, as Triple H and Batista were going at it. Triple H went so far as bet against Batista in his match against Y2J. Not good for a union like Evolution.

Stacy & Simon:
Stacy was using one of those guns that they use to throw shirts at the audience. Then, she started to ask who wanted the new ECW DVD, when all of a sudden, Simon comes out to be a jackass. Just because I'm sick of what's going on with this fuck, here's basically what happened: Simon threatens Stacy, Hurricane comes out, they fight, Rosey breaks it up and Simon runs. I swear, if this guy pulls something like infomercials or this in Revolution, I will jump over the barrier and kick his ass, even if I get thrown out.

Batista Segment:
2 whores were taking backstage about how Hunter and Batista were fighting, when Batista comes out, walking with a rage. I don't remember anything else happening here.

Chris Jericho vs. Batista: 2.4/5
This was not a real match, but more of a tool to drive down the fact that Batista was pissed. Still, it was better than the crap match between Gene and Maven. Batista gets DQ'ed by a choke count (the only time I've ever seen the ref get to 5), and attacks Jericho afterwards with a clothesline from behind.

Triple H Segment:
Triple H gets in Batista's face after reminding him of the bet he made earlier. He starts to insult Batista brutally, basically threatening him to throw him out of Evolution.

Edge Interview:
Todd interviews Edge about why he kicked the crap out of Christian. Edge says that he's not a tag competitor any longer, and that he deserves the title. He then interviews a few people backstage and after the last one says that he's not championship material, by saying that he voted for HBK, he was going to beat him up. Benoit then comes out and breaks up the fight.

Coach vs. Rhyno: N/A
J. R. means JUST RHYNO, huh? W. O. T. means WASTE OF TIME. Rhyno simply gored the shit out of Coach to end the match. Oh well.

Lita vs. Molly Holly vs. Trish: 2.7/5
Pretty good match. The women's division has been looking up lately, IMO. But damn, that FDDBBFTBH won the damn title again. I guess that Trish is about as "political" as Hunter, huh? Oh well, at least the Molly Go Round was seen here.

Batista and Flair:
Finally Flair comes between the exploding Evolutionists. He says that he should apologize to Triple H, because he made Batista what he was now. Batista leaves, enraged.

Benjamin, Regal & Eugene vs. Christian & La Resistance: 2.6/5
Hmm... I can't really tell what happened here. I went out to get food when I finished hearing Christian's song, so I only got to see half or so of the match, I think. And what I saw was not too impressive. Hell, most of the score was just because of Christian's theme.

Chris Benoit vs. Triple H: N/A
It was time for the Cage Match, but Triple H was a no show, due to Batista kicking Triple H's ass backstage. The medics and everyone came over to see if the champ could compete, but a doctor said he couldn't. Edge then gets up to Benoit's face, so Benoit decides to get Edge in the cage instead.

Edge vs. Chris Benoit: 3.4/5
The best match of the night, they did pretty good inside of the cage. But again, something crucial happened during the commercial, Benoit getting busted open. So, this match gets that score. In the end, Edge spears Benoit out the door of the cage, costing Edge the match.

We Fooled You!:
For the people that saw RAW. Seriously, if you people did not see this coming... Well, I'd rather not quote Reginold. But yeah, Evolution exploding was nothing but a fraud to get Hunter out of the shot. Even the doctor was in on the hoax. But this cost Hunter, as Orton came out and told Hunter that he had to defend the title in a roster-wide battle royal, since he turned down the option of lifting the title restriction on Randy. Good Luck, Jericho!
******

And that's it from me, G-Bye!

I'm just a guy who likes to come in and make some chit chat with other wrestling fans. I did use to be ECWMark...but that was a LOOOOOOOOOONG time ago.

>Canned hardore holly hes no use. NO hardcore title no Hardcore.

It's not just that there's no Hardcore Title, I mean, that hurt Tommy Dreamer's career to not be able to have that, but Holly in general is just a bad attitude with no return. Here's a guy who works Velocity unless you need a place holder guy in a title program, the thing that this really points out about WWE to me is how much of a contradiction Vince really is. Here's a guy that loves to go out and say he's an entertainment company owner, and that he took all the sleeze and bullshit out of the business, he's got it traded on wall street, and just generally acts like an innovator. But then he has idiots like Holly on the roster who go out and beat on people they don't like, or haze people in like a frat house (anybody remember that scandal?), and he still sends out guys whose sole heat getting ability is to say "America sucks!". Yep, you just have to love the amount of bullshit you get from Vince Mcmahon...well, unless it's put into the television product, which it so often is.

Well, a week or 2 ago, he wrestled in a match with a jobber on HeaT. Quite frankly, the jobber was better than him.

Here would be an interesting match: Viscera vs. Mark Henry. Now, how the fuck would that match work?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-11-25 12:46:33

Visera vs. Mark Henry has been done.. Visera won both times.

Vince in control just makes things hard. He has the final say on all storylines, and pretty much anything to do with his product. It sucks really...

It's amazing to me how they can fire a talented guy like Rico, and then turn around and hire a sack of crap like Viscera back. I mean, jesus, they put it on the ECW DVD about how in 95 the fans in the Spectrum were throwing crap, chanting ECW, and in general booing his coronation as King of the Ring. I was in the audience that night, and I can tell you it was a damn near riot, people were PISSED. This guy has never drawn a dime, never will, and dosen't even really work as an enhancement talent. Just keep flushing your stock holders money Vince.

Yeh, Viscera still has the same music. Gets me every time, because i dont know who it is at first. Then i see that blob hobbling down to the ring. I kind of laugh at the announcers sometimes: "Viscera's quite agile for a guy of that size". My arse is he, anyone can run across half of a ring and trip over on top of someone. But omg, hes even heavier than the big show now, i cant believe, he is about 597 pounds apparently, while big show lost 30 or so pounds.
Rico the superhero? dont you mean Hurricane, who didnt get fired? Rico was the gay act one, unless you count as a superhero towards gay rights...anyway, yeh, Rico shouldnt have gotten fired, he was cool in a weird way, but hurricane and rosey need to change persona or they will get forgotten like so many other people

LordKooler's smackdown review
1.Rey mysterio vs Rene dupree rating:***
A good match to start off smackdown. Rey mysterio won at the end.
2.Tough enough segment rating:***1/2
A decent segment. Dan Rodimer was eliminated. And all the other guys had the wrestle each other.
3.RVD vs Kenzo suzuki rating:***
It was just like the Rey mysterio vs Rene dupree match. Torrie wilson did ring announcing. RVD won by dq.
4.Big show's thanksgiving rating:***1/2
A decent segment. Big show prepares for a thanksgiving feast until Luther reigns comes out. He says he hates thanksgiving. Then a food fight happend at the end!
5.Kurt angle vs Cody steele rating:**
It was just like last week when Angle wrestled that guy from Dayton Ohio. Kurt angle won at the end.
6.Dawn marie vs miss jackie rating:**1/2
It was boring. The match ended in a no contest and Charlie haas had to break up the fight.
7.Eddie guerrero & Booker T vs JBL & Orlando jordan rating:***
A good match to end Smackdown. JBL & Orlando won at the end after the Basham brothers attacked eddie & booker T from the crowd.

yeah i heard when J.R. said that vis was quite agile for his size, i was shocked because he said it as vis jumped on somebody. It doesent take a hell of alot of agility to jump on somebody. the only person in viscera's wait range that was even remotely agile was Rikishi, Rikishi was actualy quite fast and agile for someone of his body type, keep in mind viscera has about two hundred pounds on Rikishi. I would say Big Show is agile but that would be a lie. the thing about Show though is he really doesent need to be all that agile he has alot of in ring ability and he plays his gimmick very well.

on the other hand Viscera is just a slightly mobile refrigerator.

It's weird to watch the WWE without The Rock and Stone Cold... where did those guys go?

And.. the women are always looking hot when they wrestle.. they sure seem much more entertaining to me.

As you can see, i've haven't watched WWE in so long... heh

If you know about Stone Cold, you know about his neck injury. It just got the best of him, and he left; in good terms, of course. As for The Rock, he's semi-retired. He'll pop up once in a while to kick some poor sap's ass, but the most we ever get of him these days is a yearly WrestleMania match.

The ONLY thing I like about Viscera is his name. That's it. He IS just a black garbage bag, and as such, he should be thrown away. Even his theme song sucks balls and beyond.

HOW IN THE HELL DID VISCERA AND MARK HENRY MOVE EACH OTHER AROUND THE RING?!?! Did they use forklifts or something? Because, damn! And how didn't that ring collapse being under so much pressure?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-11-27 10:15:08

The match I remember best of mark vs vis was something called a "Gorrila Press Slam" match. First person to do that move wins. It was a horrible slow match and several times mark tried to pick Vis up but couldn't seem to do it. Vis won when mark went to the second rope and vis threw him off. This was about the time when D'Lo and Henry were a tag team and so was X-pac and Kane.

I think the WWE needs more evil people like Vicera... remember the brood? and the ministry that undertake was apart of? Those were awesome... and then there's Kane but he doesn't seem to be around much. Evil characters make WWE much more exciting.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-11-27 18:27:25

Well, the undertaker is an excellent talent. He is evil, but he is a face. The atmosphere when his music hits, and the lights go out, it looks awesome. I wish i could go to a live event and see him there. It'd send chills up my spine. Wasn't SmackDown in one of you guys home towns last week when the undertaker showed up? Must've been kool. Anyway i wish there were more evil wrestlers around. Even Kane has gone face now hasn't he? Snitski just isnt a good replacement for Kane.
Dupree was funny. OMG, fifi did that to dupree's eye? suuure. Im kind of glad i know what really happened, or i would have been confused

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-11-28 11:54:53

but to be fair, they'd make viscera jump out of the ring if it looked like he was gonna win or the the others were tired. Trip will, of course, win. But there will be tense moments where Batista contemplated going for it. Maybe. Well, we can only hope, eh?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-11-29 17:50:05

Hey guys, finally level 10. Technically, no longer a "noob". It's bout time, but yeah, anyways. I rented Smackdown! vs. RAW, it is the greatest WWE game on the PS2! It has a few glitches, but it's really cool. But the create a wrestler should have some more clothes, like a sweatshirt, or hoodie. Other than that, it ain't half bad! It's much better than the other games, I recommend buying this game.
