HHH was due to lose and should have lost it to booker t at wrestlemania. Goldberg is the worst thing to happen to the WWE EVER! Like I said before I would rather see HHH hold the title for 10 years than goldberg for 10 seconds..... What do they do now with a guy who refuses to work house shows????? There is a lineup of guys who would make amazing champs on the raw side but they dont get the time of day (hbk, y2j, rvd, randy orton, etc...etc...). Who will get the next shot? Kane? thats the worst idea ive ever heard..... two lumbering idiots who havent shown flashes of brilliance in the past 5 years..... Kane sucks ( he lost to xpac about 36 consecutive times) and goldberg is worse... Id give reasons but I would be banned for making my posts to long..... WWE is headed back to the shitter, although its not like they ever climbed out..... PS if the rock truly says hes done with wrestling, then the WWE is done with him.......

Right on. I mean, Rock has said that he wants to concentrate on being an actor, so why does WWE stil give him air time to showcase his crappy movies? I also say, if you aren't a wrestler, you don't deserve your wrestling moniker. He should have to be billed as Duane Johnson(?) instead of The Rock. The Rock is gone.
Anyway, I just watched Sundaynight Heat, and i was thinking, should I add Heat to my RAW review? I mean, it is still a RAW brand show...

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-09-28 21:39:56

I say give the title to Booker T , RVD or Y2J. They really deserve it and work house shows like they are supposed to.

As for Rock...He can come and go from wrestling all he likes and WWE will let him. He may come back for a while until his next movie, which from the looks of thing may be soon, as he's getting planty of good reviews.

I watch velocity every saturday. So i'm thinking about adding velocity to my smackdown review. Cause
velocity is a smackdown brand show

guys there is no need to add velocity or heat to your reports. I mean I dont need to know that orlando jordan lost to whoever. Or that val venis beat rico. Those matches dont matter otherwise they would be on the main shows..... Also goldberg sucks.....

I have to disagree with you..I think it would be good to review those shows. I watched heat yesterday and it wasn't bad at all..in fact the Stevie/Val match was pretty good. Plus we get to see jobbers...thats always fun!

So yeah..i say go for it, review Velocity and Heat!

well, i won't add Heat to the review, but i will say this: Steiner fought a guy named Crowbar, who they said was a superstar in the old WCW. Now, if he's an established wrestler, didn't he deserve better then being treated like a jobber? I really hate squash matches.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-09-29 11:49:10

me 2.....You don't have to have heat and Raw in the same review...I thought crowbar was a good wrestler? I didn't see much of the old WCW so some of their wreslters are unfamiliar to me. Was he any good?

I saw crowbar wrestling sean o haire on velocity.
But I wonder, will crowbar join raw? Or will he join smackdown?

The thing with Heat/Velocity matches is that half of the guys on there are not on a written contract with the WWE and are working on the independant scene and are paid to do just one or two shows. It's in a few cases that WWE might then be impressed by them and offer them a full contract. This has worked with such people as Spanky, Paul London and Jimmy Yang who are now signed with the WWE in the past few months. Crowbar (who I think is also working for NWATNA) as far as I'm known is not signed and so he won't be "drafted".

i don't know if he was good. I never really saw WCW either, but my point was, if your an established wrestler, you deserve better than being treated as a jobber. Especially when you're an actual Superstar (Dreamer, Richards and Funaki come to mind)

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-09-29 15:35:37

you drive a good point. But I think Heat/Velocity can be inportant because we get to se the wrestlers that didn't show up on the main program. Rodney Mack and Billy Kidman go on their respective weekend shows and they are bigger names. Getting to see some indi wrestlers is good to in way..even if they are there to job.

how tajiri uses the green mist is he uses packs like they do for blood. my guess is that he holds it in his mouth verry carefully. i also know the secret ingredents to the mist lol but i do! anyways crowbar is james storm and also used to wrestle in NWA-TNA. oh what number can I be? oh and can i also be tajiri as my wrestler? of if not ultimo dragon cause hes the worlds greatese high flyer. why? HE HELD TEN TITLES IN JAPAN AT ONE TIME!!! oh and also held the wcw cruserweight championship alon with it and i also think he held the TV championship as well as holding the other 11 titles if not then he just held the TV title at one time. and tem titles is usally more than a wrestler holds in a life time! and i mean alot of wrestlers

Ok. Correct me if im incorrect, but is mark henry getting a match with goldberg? Thats about the stupidest thing ive ever heard...... I wont even start about how bad that is..... but it is the downfall of WWE..... an OVW reject vs an untalented loser champ. That has ratings all over it.....

I have to wait for the Rook review before I make my comments. i only saw the last hour but I know what heppened. jeeze...not a Henry push..thats just what we don't need right now..

Just to clarify what I'm gonna do.

Sometime this week I will make and post the list of people who are in the club and give them numbers based on when they joined. I will also include picked wrestlers for that person so we can see who has what. Hopefully this will help get us a little organized. so once I'm done we wil have offical numbers, wrestlers, leaders and jobs(reviews, news ect.)

I should be done by this weekend or a little before depending on how busy my week at school will be.
Thank you for your patience. If I make an error or you think something is not right let me know.

Some people who joined at the beginning have yet to come back but I'm gonna list then anyway. Once done you cnatell me if there needes to be adjustments due this.

Rook's RAW Review!!!
I always love when a show starts off with the Highlight Reel. Especially a Highlight Reel featuring Eric Bischoff. I know not many people like him, but I think he's greatest. But thats enough Bischoff worship for one review. Of course, Stone Cold ruined it. I could see that stunner coming from a mile away. Can you say "Washed Up?" I knew that you could.
Anyway, to the matches:
The Dudley Boyz def. Test and Scott Steiner - ok the match was nothing special, so I'm just gonna talk about the aftermath. The whole Test/Keibler/Steiner angle seems to be getting a bit more interesting. I think, if they play their cards right, they can breathe new life into it and make it a cool angle again. My only complaints are that the chairshot Stacy gave was way to weak and phoney looking, and whoever wrote the match must have been a no talent hack. I mean, Steiner tells Stacy "You just cost me the TagTeam Championship.." Ok, if he was concerned about winning, why did he pull Test out of the ring when he covered D-Von, and why did he refuse to be tagged in? Someone needs to fire the guy who coreographed that.
Jindrak, Cade and Maven def. La Resistance and Rob Conway - This was a pretty decent match. I hope the fact that Jindrak and crew won is a foreshadow that these three will finally get a push. One thing made me laugh though: Before the match, Cade said some stuff about WW2. Okay, now, if things are like that, doesn't that make him and his pals Nazis? Think about it...
JR def The Coach - this match sucked. Where did JR learn to hit? From Stacy (see above)? At least when Coach whipped JR, it looked real. Also JR's "Stunner" looked so fucking wussy. Hey WWE, try to at least make commitments to your angles. One show with Al and Coach. Only one. Come on now. And a fucking ticket does not give a person the right to climb into the ring and drink beer! Whet the fuck was security doing? God, I hated this match on so many levels. JR is a great commentator, but a lousy actor.
Women Stuff - "Puppies are back!" Those three words filled me with so much anger. Fuck you King! Juust die, and never come back. Why didn't they do this segment before JR/Coach? I hate King so very very much. If you only knew the depth of my hatred for Jerry Lawler. Anyway, Victoria is hot, so its all good :D
Kane def. The Hurricane - finally, the Hurricane did somthing resembling heroic. To bad he didn't wait. I was curious as to what Kane would do to the kid (i'm a bad bad man.) When the match came, it was almost a squash match. After all, we all knew Hurricane didn't stand a chance.
Goldberg and Shawn Michaels def. Ric Flair and Randy Orton - ok, I'm going to cover HHH's offer in this too, because they sot of overlap. I hope his offer can lead to something good. Anyway, when they had the match, it was pretty good, because Michaels did most of the work. Thats about it for the match. Okay, so they use cool guys like Stevie Richards and Rodney Mack as cannon fodder, and give Mark Henry a push? Okay, first problem is if he wanted Goldberg, why not go for it? Why bloody up Shawn Michaels? And why have they recently taken to giving Michaels the shitty end if the stick? Anyway, i hope Mark wins. He needs that money for...(wait for it)...METAMUCIL! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I r so funneeeeee! I know both Goldberg and Mark Henry suck, but the WWE actually has a chance to do something good with this, so I hope they don't fuck up (which I know they will)
Rob Van Dam def Christian - this match was the best of the night. Both men put on one hell of a performance. The best moment was the Frogsplash off the top of the ladder, and when Christian moved, causing RVD to strike the ladder. Two world class athletes in a world class match. And of course, in the end, the right man one. Kudos. This one match almost made up for an otherwise god awful show!

ok, i'd like to retract that statement. When i look back, it really was a good show, i just let teh Announcer match and Stone cold piss me off too much.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-09-30 13:47:54

Thats ok I've been wanting to comment on that. Coach/Al got to do one show...what happened to the plan where they had if for a few weeks? That was the original plan but no they lost it almost as soon as they got it.

I still don't care about Stiner...nice job WWE

if They were real intent on making a bounty, wouldnt Stevie, a former hardcore champ, have used a chair? It was a blind-side attack and the perfect opportunity to really do some damage but thats life I guess.

ok how he makes the myst is....

food coloring and water :P yeah i know its not that much of a secet (yeah cant spell) but if you want it to sting the eyes just add salt oh and the writers of WWE just need incentive because when the storylines were the best, they were battling with WCW and when they had the hardcore title the storylines were the best because they would go and battle in the back and more wrestlers would fight for the title because of 24/7 and also they would show clips of the hardcore champion arriving (in the airport) and someone would attack him, pin him, and bacome the new champ npw that was SWEET! they should bring back the hardcore title with 24/7 rules :(

yeah, that would be awesome.
Anyway, i just read two things that pissed me off:
1) Stephanie McMahon is rumored to have called an end to the Stevie Night Heat angle. She wasn't even aware it was happening because she doesn't even watch heat, but as soon as she heard of it, she immediately called for it to end. This angers Heat wrestlers, because this shows that one of the top decision makers doesn't even watch the shows she makes decisions on. Now let that sink in.
2) I have learned that the problems with WWE aren't really the wrestlers, or the writers, or even the McMahons...its the fans! You heard me. I was just checking out the poll at wwe.com, and fans ranked the JR/Coach match 3rd out of last nights six matches! It beat out Kane/Hurricane, Dudleys/Test and Steiner and, worst of all, Jindrak,Cade,Maven/La Resistance! Thats bullshit. The TagTeam match had a cool resolution which will probably lead to interesting developments (here's hoping) and the sixman match was awesome, with six young, talented superstars who I feel have great futures ahead of them. What makes it worse was that the sixman was the lowest rated! C'mon, after the Ladder match, it was the best match of the night! WWE fans (mostly) suck...

I am tired of seeing commentators and others taking up air time but lets face it, As much as coach/jr suck, the dudleys suck waaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse, Kane is just as bad And steiner is just blah...... (I dont even know what to say about him anymore)...... the Jindrak,Cade,Maven/La Resistance match should have been higher but keep in mind that jindrak and cade are still unknown and unapreciated by many. Also dont take any stock into any "poll" on WWE website.... I get the feeling its as rigged as the matches...... Do you really think the fans decide diva or babe of the year? I doubt it. Its better for business if trish, torrie or stacy wins. If we all voted for jazz its bad for business because she is unmarketable...... Anything on that site should be taken with a grain of salt......

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2003-09-30 22:32:50

I really don't pay attention to polls..

So Steph called an end to Stevie Night Heat? Damn her! Why can't they let Stevie have a push? Just what don't they like?

I also agree that storys that revolve around announcers and other stupid stuff is such a waste of air time. We could fit in at least 2 more decent matches and make a more entertaining WRESTLING show..

maybe, but at least steiner and the dudleys can put on a match that at least looks a bit authentic. I find it really hard to believe that JR's pissweak stunner could lay out Coach, or anyone for that matter. When a dudley puts a guy through a table, at least its believable that they can't get up.

a good point. I suppose it was a tad hasty of me to automatically assume that it was right. I mean, there can't be that many stupid people out there for an announcer match to rank so highly, right?

well, i don't know if that's 100% confirmed. Its just what i heard. The next couple of weeks should verify it.
Also, I don't know about you, but stevie night heat was the only reeason i started regularly watching. I loved those Al Snow interviews, for some reason...but now, i really have no reason to keep watching, cause i sure as hell don't wanna see jobbers.

No im sorry I must disagree again. Steiner cant get into a ring without slipping on the entrance ramp or on the apron. Then once inside the ring he still manages to blow the 2 moves he knows..... As for dudleys, well its getting old. Nay, it was old 2 years ago now its boring....oooohhhhhh a table didnt see that coming...... Tag team wrestling is done. I have no problem with stable fighting but teams like the dudleys have got to go. The only cool tag teams are odd couples. Like when HBK and Austin had to team up when they were rivals, stuff like that is interesting. PS EDGE better get the strap upon his return!!!!!!
