Oh, and I'm at the final boss in Vesperia, and I have a few mixed feelings about him. One, why does every final boss in a Tales game have to levitate? And why do they have to glow brightly? That said, he is about as punishing as I would expect.

That's in the Museum of History, right? I got there, but had to turn back when I came to a locked cell door and had no lockpicks. There were two cell doors, actually, both leading into what I thought was the same room. I tried to force one of the doors with a 40% chance of opening it. It didn't work, so I turned back.

Yeah, it was in the upper level of the area beyond the cell doors. There's an Average terminal you can hack on that floor to open them that way. That, or get more bobby-pins, they're usually in most med-kits :p

Thanks. I honestly don't know what happened to all my bobby pins, I always thought I had plenty.
But anyways, I probably wont go back there for a while, seeing as how I have to get through more feral ghouls. I've always never been able to deal with zombies well, ever since I played Resident Evil when I was 3.

Going through Vesperia again? Personally I'm trying to find side quests, grinding here and there, and trying to save enough Gald to watch the bathhouse scenes. All before I end it when I fight Duke.

Although the first one was a serious waste of 300,000 gald.

What's your Small Guns and Sneak at, and how well do you conserve ammo? Usually by the time I'm able to -safely- travel to The Mall - let alone the Museum of History - I'm able to take out Feral Ghoul Roamers in one sneak-attack head shot, and normal Ferals in one normal head shot. I think my Sneak is around 40 and my S.G. is around 55. As for my level.... I dunno, maybe 6-8? Waited 'till 10 on one character, but only because i wanted to see what was to the North and West, since I had really only ever gone right for D.C. :p

Yeah, I don't ever seem to run out of pins, either. Then again, I do tend to lose only one pin every 4-5 locks, and that's only on average and it's getting better.

And they aren't Zombies, they're GHOULS. Ghouls are people too, yanno? They've just been exposed to an ungodly amount of radiation and haven't had the good fortune to die is all :p
Although, those Feral ones pretty much ARE mindless killing machines, so kill as many as you damn well please!

Thats ironically true, because most of us were members of the ToS crew (Tales of Symphonia), and we just migrated here to widen our base of discussion, which really went down to more Tales games.

I have no idea. I just know that SG is somewhere around 60 and I never spend any points on sneak.

Who doesn't? I find it consistantly funny that you can have GNR on and still sneak up on some hapless enemy. All that radiation must have deafened them or something.

We've discussed older RPGs like Earthbound and SMRPG too, but we've currently moved on to the Tales series/ Star Ocean due to their recent release.

Also, I'm looking forward to Madworld... the Wii really needs a boost right now and Madworld looks like its going to do the trick.
