In any case, sorry about kind of ditching you guys out here for the past month. Check back. It's been a month and a day since I've posted here last, but things have been kind of busy, even with the Christmas break from school. My dad's overseas so I need to take care of more stuff around the house, I need to start applying for any universities or colleges that I might want to go to and of course, I've been spending more time with my new girlfriend. Yeah, things worked out in the end. The ones who actually took the time to read my blog already know the full story so I'm not going to bother typing it out again, but things are going well. I'm actually taking her out tonight to Stanley Park for a ridiculously-overpriced Christmas dinner. Factoring in transportation, the presents I got her and the cost of the dinner itself, I'm blowing $200.00 tonight. You only live once. And besides, this is going to be the first Christmas of my life where I actually have someone to share it with. Might as well go all out. I'll probably give a short synopsis of tonight in my blog sometime in the next few days. Whenever I find the time.

In other news, my old screenplay's been put on a mild hiatus. I've started a second one, this time revolving it completely around a small coffee shop. (That should come as no surprise to anyone.) The only real reason I'm mentioning it though, is that I've decided to name one of the main characters after you, Mal. Just because I've based the character loosely on myself and don't feel like using my own name. Not only that, but since we're so much alike and since I think Malachy's a sweet-sounding name anyways, it felt only right. So, if I ever get around to actually making this independent film I have set out in my head and it gets big, you can claim credit for the character's namesake. And naturally, you'll be invited to the premiere.

Now, for the next two weeks or so, I'll likely be dropping by more often than usual, so you might be seeing a few more posts from me. Hopefully enough to get me to 10,900 Posts anyways. But just for the hell of it, what are all you guys doing for Christmas? I'm taking Oriana out tonight and on Christmas Day, I'll be spending it with her family and her somewhere in Vancouver having a dinner party of sorts. Kind of sad that I feel more at home with her family than mine, huh? Oh well. Merry Christmas, ya crazy slackers. I'll be getting back to you all in a week.

i went to school today, we had a mass, 'breakfast' which was free cookies and hot chocolate, and then we watched the bands perform for a little bit. i got out around 11 am and wandered about until i went to see 'meet the fockers' at 2: 30 or so. it was so-so. the first one was better. they definitely dumbed down the jokes since the first movie. then i got something to eat and am sitting here bored.

I pulled an all-nighter just to stand in line on boxing day. And although the newspaper said the store would open at 6:00am, my bro (who works there) said it would open at 5:00 because of the competition. Then I went straight to the cashier to check this stuff out - Error! As I expected, I didn't have enough money to pay for all that, and had to decide fast what to drop. After some hard thinking I decided to keep the CD-RW and the RAM (which seemed unusually expensive for some reason). So I pack the two items into the car. But just before leaving I decide to get my bro to help me buy the rest of the shit. So I march back in there and pick up those other two items I left behind at the cashier, then I go to the home theatre secton where my bro works. Luckily enough he bought it for me through an oldschool computer terminal. So after I pack those I drive straight home to see if everything's in order. Well, after a few minutes I find that the RAM I got was actually the notebook version (no wonder it was so expensive and didn't have a rebate!). So I drive my ass back there and go straight to customer service ("Cable Run" ring a bell?). Unfortunately, I couldn't get a refund oday. But hey, at least there was still some of that cheap RAM left, so it was all good.

im sure ive ranted here about how far away i am from civilization, as i ahve in al the internet things i go on, but i left here at 8:30 am this morning and was shopping- early. whch sucks cause i didnt sleep till late last night- 5? but that doenst matter too much, i am an insomniac ( does that explain my behavior a little more?) anyways, i was out much earliwr than i thought as i was supposed to meet jason and steve at 1, so by the time i met them i was all fucking tired out from being trampled by old ladies and blonde bitches. some preppy bitch actually hit me in between te legs with a purse, as if that would hurt me. what a bitch. i glared at her and she backed off- i didnt even buy it. al ibought was jason present- a swing, uhh, yeah another dirty gift, a cd player, a kurt kobain poster and some aromatharapy oil. w00t. all that trampling for practically nothing.
jason slept outside in the cold just cause steve told him to, and didnt buy a thing. steve got a whole home theatre pack for $60. dick. after i met up with jason tho, we went back to his house and slept. so id say it was a damn good day. im back in the middle of nowhere for the night again though...
