Love them, a lot more than I do Metallica.

Metallica and Megadeth...they're almost the same.

No wai!
Metallica are more progressive - and shit in their newer days.
Megadeth are more old school Thrash, and they're far more technical.
Deths riffs own Metallica's too.

Easy as piss.

Does anyone here like Megadeth?

I like Megadeth more than Metallica (Megadeth fanclub was already made hehe) but Megadeth is basically Dave Mustaine and some muso's. The lineup constantly changes, with Mustaine writing all the songs as well as the lyrics.

Metallica and Megadeth...they're almost the same.

Well, they had strong debuts, then a follow up which expanded them. They had a hit album, for Metallica it was Master of Puppets, for Megadeth it was Rust in Peace. Then, they had a bigger hit when they sold out, Metallica with the black album, Megadeth with Countdown to Extinction. But, Metallica continued making crap albums, where as Megadeth's work was still good. This is because of MUSTAINE. It doesn't matter if he changes his musical direction, because he'll always be the riff master. So, they started similar, but seeing as Metallica was more of a band because they worked together with suggestions and co-writing, they continued getting worse. Megadeth kept it together, because Mustaine is god.

GOD I tell you!

Mustaine was the original guitarist of Metallica (as probably all of you know), so what I meant was that they play similar styles. Lars Ulrich once said, "...meh, I think Megadeth's okay, but I don't think they take enough risks." Well, if "risks" means making shit albums like Metallica did, then they wouldn't want to take risks, would they?

Mustaine also owns some royalties to Seek & Destroy.

I thought he had royalties on all his writing credits.

I was looking at my records today and say Kill 'em all. Time to start her up again! Then I noticed something, on the record in the middle it had the track listing. Then I found that "Jump in the Fire" was labled "Jump in the air".

I laughed. I laughed alot.

Oh, Bob Rock (is that the name?) was the bassist? I thought Trujillo was on that album. They both suck.

Yeah Bob Rock did the bass parts on St. Anger... why James didn't do them I have no idea, being probably the best rhythm guitarist in Metal and all.

And Trujillo is brilliant.

According to Wayne's World 2, housewifes don't like Megadeth.

Garth - "You got any Megadeth?'

And she didn't, she carried on playing that terrible happy jazz crap.

That's a great movie. Have you seen that episode of The Drew Carey Show where they start a band and audition Dave?

'Dave belts out a rad solo'

Drew - "Whoah, whoah!"

Dave - "What?"

The skinny dude - "It's okay to be nervous just sloooow dooown"

Dave - "It's ment to be played like that"

Drew - "Pffft whatever. NEXT!"

I'll comment on Trujillo's bass performance when Metallica release their new album or I listen to stuff that Robert used to play for.

Linkage.

Oh, and if you want proof of Rob's bass playing watch Some Kind of Monster.... Battery... played with fingers.... fucking hard!

And apparently his best work is with Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves. I've never listened myself... I'll check some GuitarPro tabs now though....
