Sorry. I keep the Mustaine closeness in my heart. But when I go to shows, I think it was only Crue that we didn't stand at the actual bars or one person behind the bars, but that was due to a sitted show. Nothing ever feels the same in a concert if you aren't literally smack in the front.
But maybe one of my friends will take pics, but I doubt it again. Being that up close is impossible to take pics, and is usually so tight half the time I'm not sure if I'm touching the ground. Shit would break.

Oh wow. I was there on sunday, it was awesome. Unfortunately I wasn't on the floor, but I loved it nonetheless. Personally I think Megadeth grossly outshined Dio/Heaven & Hell -- I would've been much happier if their time slots were reversed, but what can you do. They did a great performance of Children of the Sea and Heaven and Hell at least. Plus Dio is a crazy little fucker when he's creeping around on the stage, almost made me outright laugh a few times.

Anyway I have to say, Megadeth really blew me away. I'm not sure how I feel about the new material at this point, but the classics really got everyone going. Songs like Holy Wars sound so much better live. Definitely cool that someone else from newgrounds was there though, don't hear from many Manitobans on the interwebs :o

I didnt say they werent. I said they did groundwork. But that was a time where heavy metal was splitting into more specific genres, and a power metal did have thanks to pay to Dio as it did for other bands at the time. Genre that grow out suddenly have to get their influences from a lot of places, and to say Dio didn't help would be gaaaaay.
