I can't rely on CN to quench my thirst for anime. Anything aired prime time, or even mid-day, is usually aimed toward a younger audience. The licensed shows aired on adult swim are of much higher quality, because the show isn't rescripted, edited, and butchered from its original and wholesome form to appeal to children.

I believe you won't find the absolute best anime on American television.
Go online, and find quality fansubs.

A few US licensed ones are decent, but nothing can beat the original. :|

Today I rented Volume 1 of Ghost And The Shell: Stand Alone Complex! It was pretty awsome for the first 4 episodes! I also own the first movie!

I just recently saw Ghost in the shell 2, innocence at the film festival (New Zealand doesn't get that many Animes in normal cinema) And it confused the hell out of me, there was this one scene which i still don't get, can someone explain it to me?

The two main cops are walking into a building and pass a person playing some thing, they then procede to walk up into a room where they see a robot who looks dead on a chair with some writing in the air, the robo cop throws him on the floor and he wakes up and talks to them and gives them coffe, then the scene repeats again, only with a different dead robot, and then it repeats again!!!!

What is up with that?

Well Saturday sucked. It seems that Samurai Champloo is done airing new episodes until October. Meh. Guess I'll have to just watch my Slayers, Mai-HiMe, Those Who Hunt Elves, and Elfen Lied until then.

First of all, you don't "Draw" Anime. You animate it.

Anime = Animated Cartoons
Manga = Comics

Yeah, I saw that too without seeing GITS part one. :P It was pretty weird. I still don't get it. I think the "dead robot" hacked into the main guy or something.

By the way, I've picked up the FullMetal Alchemist manga. It's better than the anime methinks. So far I'm up to volume 5. Bunny is weird. o.O

Well we usually require your top 5 animes, but if you only know those two, then it should be fine. If you saw those on Adult Swim, then there should be Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha, FLCL, Paranoia Agent, and Cowboy Bebop

Yes i did see Samurai Champloo on Adult Swim, but i dont have cable where i live so i really havent seen the others (i saw a bit of Inu Yasha but i didnt really like it, and some other anime but i wasnt sure what it was but i didnt really like it either)...
