I think that the correct one is Hyuuga. Naruto-Kun has it spelled with only one u in the profiles, but all pictures with Neji or Hinata have uu in the filenames.

Naruto-kun was actually one of the websites I was reffering to in my post.
The English fansubs have it Hyuga I believe, and I would hope that the fansub commandos would get it right, so I'll rely on their spelling for now.

Bleh. One U doesn't make much of a difference anyhow. :s

I think I know why that extra U is thrown in; often the meaning of a word depends on if the vowel is short or long. For example, I've heard that the name Yoko Ono (pronounced Ohno, with a short O) means big field, whereas Yoko Ouno (with a long O) means little field or vice versa.

I hear Pokemon in Japan is less kiddy than the one in America and Canada!

There's a place here where you can get Animes/Mangas! There are a lot of Animes they sell that I've never seen before!

That is true.
This is because 4Kids, the company responsible for the dubbing of the cartoon, has made edits, cut-outs, script revisions and any other changes to the original with a really young and kiddy viewer expectation.

And yes; people HATE them for ruining potentially good TV Shows such as One Piece and the like.

If anyone here is an OS-tan fan, you might want to watch (and interactively click around during the flash) this anime flash, "Troubled Windows".

http://www.ngsilver...troubled_windows.swf

http://www.putfile.c..p?n=troubled_windows
(Backup link)

Troubled Windows comes from 2ch.net (Pronounced "2 - Channel"), which is a HUGE Japanese internet forum. Probably the biggest forum on the net, I guess; the membership is measured in millions. In terms of the style of the forum, people say it's very similar to the Something Awful forums, but several orders of magnitude bigger.

People from that forum like to draw mascot characters and make Flash animations, and the whole OS-Tans / Troubled Windows thing is just one example of that.

Also, here is a translation, it's not interactive though.

That is correct.

It's certainly considered Lewd (And Tasteful for some) when a thin young girl with long hair poses in Black Lingerie.

okay can we please change the subject? what's everyone's take on Cardcaptors?

PSYKOLORD'S LATE-NIGHT REVIEW TIME!
Anime in question: Those Who Hunt Elves (both 1 and 2)

***SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HUNT ELVES 1 AND 2****

There was much potential in this anime for it to be turned into a hentai; however, the creators took the, as some would say, "high road" and made it into a comedy, albeit with a less-than kid-friendly storyline. I find the relationship between Celcia and Junpei to be extremely hilarious, especially near the end of the first TWHE. "I feel it too, but you MUST go back" "No, you idiot! For the spell to work, don'tcha have to be naked?" The hilarity....I roffled too much when watching these series. My waffles were all destroyed.
Moving on, I would have to say that my favorite character was Ritsuko, not only because she had all the damned guns, but because she's the girl you want to see at school everyday, driving up in that damned tank. I wonder if there's a law against that?
What irritated me was that Celcia never used her authority over the elves until the last episode of the second series. If she had used it before then, she coulda made things a lot easier. Of course, if she had, we wouldn't have had much of a series, would we?
I find the way Arie managed to continuously manipluate Junpei to be both cruel and brilliant. She truly is a great actress...or should I say, the scriptwriter was a genius.
Perhaps my favorite episode was the one when the elf in the armor wanted them to strip her naked, and her grandfather had a way all along. That demonic look they gave him when they found out what the potion of Naked Elves did....priceless.
Honestly, if I had come into this anime without any prior knowledge of what was in it, I would have expected Ritsuko to be shooting at Elves, instead of trying to strip them.
"FORGIVE ME FOR STRIPPING YOUR CLOTHES OFF!"
***END SPOILERS***

I really do hate them, whenever I get the chance I watch those sorts of shows in Japanese

I read a pokemon Manga once and the pokemon, when they fought, killed each other, instead of making them 'faint' it was really bloody, I guess they wouldn't release that on TV for many people would think it much more similar to cock fighting than it already is

I think I know which chapter you're referring to.

In the cartoon, "Ash's" Lizardon was known to be disobedient and fell asleep in the League battles causing him to Forefeit.

In the comic, "Satoshi's" Lizardon was known to be brutal and violent like all Lizardon. Satoshi, while in the near finals against one of his friends, decided to surrender and withdraw before his Lizardon can crush the neck of the opponent's Lizardon.

And the art and deisgns... MUCH better than their cartoon equivalents.

Same here but imagine how powerful you could be with those cards at yourdisposal/command you could probably take overe a 3rd world country and if anyone tries to invade or stop you ........ well you probably understand although if i were to run a 3rd world country i would actually try to make it a better place.

The female Naruto, known as "Naruko" to fans, is Naruto's well known technique used during his pranking times.

The move is known as "Oiroke no Jutsu", which roughly translates to "Techique of Sexiness". In which the user transforms into to a lady of perfect proportions (Also used by Kakashi and Sasuke in the Games).

The "Harem no Jutsu", translating to "Harem Technique" is done by first performing the technique of replication and technique of sexiness (Performed in Episode 2). This was only used in this episode and the games as far as I know.

Blech it's pretty poor IMO. All I've been seeing are sprite based Naruto submissions. I mean they are okay, but there should be more drawn Naruto flashes, the sprites get old after a while. :/

The Correct way to di Harem no Jutsu is to first use Oiroke no Jutsu, than quickly use the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu to replicate yourself. Also talking about Naruto, the 2nd Naruto movie just relased in Japan, and kicking the box-offices' ass all up and down that island. I assume its a good movie.

On to the Ecchi business. Echhi is basically referring to partially nude or scantily clad women. An examples of this is the Mahoromatic OVA in which Mahoro discovers her owners "Ecchi" magazines and he had to find a place to stash them before she threw them out. If you paid attention, the magazine covers only had girls who exposed thier breasts. It wasn't full on Porno mag. Also, if you want a classic Hentai, I suggest going with La Blue Girl, Slight Fever Syndrome, Venus 5, and Urosutodiji, which is known as pretty much the greatest Hentai series of all time. Don't ask how I nkow this. I just do.

WRONG
It's the "Kage Buunshin", THEN "Henge" (Oiroke).

Isn't it always wierd to hear the same voices in different animes. I just heard Inuyasha's voice, and maybe one of the Thunder Brother's voices in Gundam Seed and I hear Spike's voice every now and then.

Oh, is there a reason why Ed claps before he uses Alchemy?

Too bad the Anime Girls thread has been deleted. :*( Wade deleted all of Josh's posts and banned him till '09 for insulting his family. :/

And yes, congratulations to Sir Dekathos for being UOTD.

Now I have to catch up in my Naruto manga, and speaking of. In this months issue of Shonen Jump there is a manga preview for a manga called ' Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo ' , what a goofy title eh? I don't plan on reading either, just too silly.

Yep, that's american VAs for you, limited actors. Probably because they only want shitty VAs. :/

I figure it's to focus his alchemy or something, his power that allows him to use alchemy without a trasmutaion circle.
