My friend already has his Dosu costume planned, and he says he wants me to be Gaara, and he's planning that costume for me. There's a slight problem with me being Gaara though, Gaara has short spikey hair, I have shoulder length curly hair. I haven't cut my hair in a year (literally) and I don't intend to start now.

The fact that you two even bother to continue an argument from another thread into this one shows that you would both be sad. I would assume that Wonko_the_sane would chew you out in his way if not I to gently nudge you to silence myself, in my own way.
However I do like that squirrel picture and shall save that.

Nah, Wonko stepped down because people flamed him too much. He's a fucking asshole.

Number 1, this is coming from an idiot who has more than two alternate accounts to avoid getting flamed by who? Everyone.
Number 2, don't picture spam in the anime club, with unrealted things... since you can't even name your 5 favorite anime, you obviously have no intention of joining.
Number 3, not only have you made a fool of yourself here, but also in the SSM, where you have been denied many times for being a noobish asshole.... (/end)
Does anyone know when the next Naruto Vol. is coming out in america?

We could use any advice on how to make the costumes. I'll show some pics. If you have any ideas feel free to share =) Here is a picture of Sasuke. I'll send one of Rock Lee later.
u know, itd be easier to cosplay sabuza since its actualy been done b4....im not sure but i think i saw pictures of the person cosplayin sabuza on narutofan.com (not sure, but u could check).
as to sasuke....the back of his hair looks like the back of a parrots head, so i have no idea how to make his costume (its tru they sell the head protector on ebay) but it might be too expensive to actually buy it since they charge u for shipping and handling. for rock lee, the person cosplayin it is gonna hav a fun time making the eyebrows and getting the bowl cut :)
^_^ I've got a video Game! Tenchi Muyo! It's for the Super Nintindo! It's translated. And Ranma, Tenchi, Ryoko, and Aeka are not the only good players in it ^_^. Katsuhito would have to be the best (even if he only moves two spaces).

I've played that game a couple times, its pretty funny even without it being translated. I would have to say tenchi is the best player because he has long. short, and medium range attacks and kill most things in one hit.

hehe, um... I WOULD have liked Mihoshi the most but she misses alot... It's really neat they remembered her freeze shot and the rail gun. Most people only remember she has a laser... ^_^ they even remembered to have Yukinojo! he's STRONG...but...that one space movement is too much...it makes him useless to actually line up for a shot if they are manuverable. ^^ I like Sasami. she can turn into Pretty Sammy. And Washu with the Nurses outfit xD
I just purchased the first 3 episodes of Kiddy Grade.
It's a way cool show, lot's of spaceships and panties, action and comedy, classical music and panties!
Watch it!

What's Samurai X, I've never heard of it? What is it about?

well I've never seen it myself, but it is about when kenshin was still killing peope, it looks kick ass, but I'm not a big fan of gore and the anime is almost in a dark atmosphere

So it's like a prologue to the actual kenshin manga/anime?
How many episodes does it have?

I don't know if it is a proloque or not, because on AXN they call it samurai X, but it starts off the same Rouroni Kenshin does
*Summary of the Samurai X: OAVs, so it's spoiler mania*
Samurai X: Trust
The story is set in the nineteenth century and starts with a young orphan named Shinta who is travelling in a group of traders who intend to sell him into slavery. When they happen upon some bandits, everyone bar Shinta is ruthlessly killed in an impressive display of blood. All that saves Shinta from death is the fortuitous intervention of master swordsman Hiko. Hiko takes on Shinta as an apprentice and his first task is to give him a better name - Kenshin. And so begins years of training as Kenshin is turned into a master swordsman himself. That bit is the easiest to explain as thereafter the story takes a number of splits and frankly becomes a little difficult to follow. Broadly speaking it seems to be showing a split time arrangement, looking at Kenshin's training, his recruitment by Katsura and his work as a master assassin for Katsura. The overall thrust is the work of Katsura to try and prevent some rather unpleasant fighting that is going to have some rather nasty effects on Japanese history - including the burning of Kyoto. Along the way, the slightly restless nature of Kenshin's heart is revealed and when he meets a mysterious young lady by the name of Tomoe, it seems that he has some problem dealing with his feelings. Katsura encourages a relationship between the two and that is where the two episodes on offer here pretty well end up...after of course plenty of tastefully done murder and massacre.
Samurai X: Betrayal
Samurai X: Betrayal contains the final two parts of a four part Japanese animated series dealing with the assassin Kenshin Himura. A review of the first half of this series may be found here.
In these two final episodes, Kenshin and Tomoe move to the country and take up a rural lifestyle while they wait for the situation in Kyoto to calm down. During this time, they both learn more about themselves and each other. Unfortunately, their brief peace is disrupted by the events of the past which will inevitably draw them towards the tragic finale.
This series is created with traditional animation techniques, but at a number of points live and computer-generated footage is also integrated. I personally found this mixed footage to be slightly disruptive to the flow of the episode, but as it only occurs at a small number of points it is not a major annoyance. Many people prefer the alternate naming for this series - Rurouni Kenshin - and happily Madman have again included a reversible slick for these viewers.
This OVA series is not your typical hack and slash sword-fighting anime. It is often quiet and reflective and deals more with the consequences of the character's actions than the actions themselves. If you are looking for a fast-action fighting anime you may be disappointed with this disc, but if you are looking for a compelling, involving story, then you should take the time to view this series.
Rurouni Kenshin
Ten years after the start of the Meiji Era, a Rurouni wanders into Tokyo to find a new life with his new friends. Vowing never to kill, he tries to escape his fate as the greatest killer of the Edo dynasty.
An old menace threatens the new Meiji Era, the villian is Shishio Makoto, the successor to the Hitokiri Battousai who left mysteriously near the end of the Edo Dynasty on a trek of reflection. Shishio and his Juppon Gatana are ready to start a new revolution to correct the wrong doings of the Western influence.
