Umm…I suppose the ra needs some explaining. As far as I know after the Edo era came the Meji era, which is when Rurouni Kenshin is set. Inuyasha is set during the Era of the Country at War, which was a 1,000 year long civil war in Japan. It only ended when the General Nakamura conquered all of Japan and gained the rank of Taiko (he was a peasant by birth and therefore could not be Shogun).

Europe always had first names. Last names came around 1100 A.D. and most people just too kthe name of their job. For example, anyone with the name Cooper has a scottish barrel maker as an ancestor. My last name comes from the name of a hill my ancestors lived near.

Hey everyone. I need you're help. Not like before, though. My school has a book oreder thing, and I can buy 7 mangas for 5 bucks. All them together is 336 pages. One is Yu-Gi-oh, the other is Naruto, and the rest doesn't say. It reads right to left like a manga, and say quote: "Some mature content. Original series from Japan. Rated T for Teen." So, does this sound worth it to you guys?
