Started watching Gakuen Babysitters after seeing endless clips of it on YouTube. It's so adorable, even if a lot of irl kids aren't. Do you guys have any favorite cute/cozy anime you like to watch to relax?

I usually prefer action packed and more matured themed anime.

That's fair. I just like to switch it up from time to time. I really like stuff like Non Non Biyori when I feel like relaxing.

Would you rather watch an anime with great animation or sound quality?

Newgrounds: The Anime
Coming soon.

I suppose sound quality. After all, Inferno Cop takes advantage of bad animation, but what's the point if you can't hear the performances and sounds (even with subs).

I agree that sound quality will always be the top choice. Great animation can only do so much.

I used to read the manga on my Nook, around 6-8 years ago when I had a lot of free time at work. Now I just watch the anime on Crunchyroll. I started again from episode 1 around June 2018 with the ambitious goal of reaching the Thriller Bark arc by Halloween (I missed it by 2 weeks), and I believe I made it to the first Toriko crossover (episode 492) within one year. I've been watching Toriko and One Piece on a 1-to-1 ratio to keep them in sync, and now I'm on episode 590, the 3rd and final crossover that was too epic for anyone to re-air; after this, I can resume binge-watching.

Nice! I'm reading it, but sometimes I wish I had the time to watch. You miss some really great OPs and EDs when you're only reading the manga. Plus I missed out on the Toriko crossovers. Maybe I should give them a watch sometime, I never got into Toriko though.

I wonder which new animes will appear.
It's not a new anime, but Toonami is bringing back The Promised Neverland. Season 2 is scheduled for October 2020, so they're just re-airing season 1 for now.
I just caught up on Dr Stone. I;m all caught up in my anime, and all ready to start new in 2020.
Toonami finished season 1 of Fire Force this weekend. Rather than air re-runs or fill the time slot with something else, Toonami will be 30 minutes shorter next weekend - 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

Is this a good thing? I would rather watch a rerun that have it end early.
Saw the new My Hero Academia movie. I only seen the first 30 episodes but I'm glad I was able to follow it well.
I don't watch much anime, but I do have a MyAnimeList account. You can check out some of the anime I've watched and the ratings I gave them.
I'm currently watching Death Note for an small little anime-watching club I have with some friends, but I've read the entire manga before and I loved it.

I am all caught up to date on the anime, but have not seen the film yet. Want to see it.

I still need to watch more of MHA. I've only seen a few episodes but there is enough of a reason for me to keep going with it eventually.

I'm trying to catch up with the manga, currently. I'm only on chapter 86 right now, though.
When is Toonami going to get longer? It has been 11 - 3 now. It used to be much longer.

I'm pretty sure Toonami will expand when shows like Fire Force, Dr. Stone, and The Promised Neverland begin season 2. Fire Force should return in July or August, but the other two are slated for October.

That would be awesome. Season 2 of good series, and a longer Toonami. Its about time. They should do something for all the bored fans that can't leave the house due to stupid virus.
i am 1# newgrounds first celebrity, call me ninja kitty,i am a guardian christian of canada
what with the viral outbreak and an ankle injury preventing me from going out much anyway recently, ive been watching some more anime than usual.
i started watching the original gundam after years of not getting into the franchise, only having watched some of zeta, i now realize that i really should have started with this one to begin with since the plots are fairly interconnected. i will probably watch most of these shows eventually.
vision of escaflowne - this is basically a mech show but set in a fantasy universe, and its also very shoujo. the villain is a joffrey baratheon-esque psychotic kid, which i like.
mushishi - this is like a horror anime, but its "comfy" horror. the visuals and sound design are excellent.
im also reading the manga adaptation of the chinese novel Romance of three kingdoms, its 60 volumes long with lots of text so thats gonna take a while to read.

Hello and welcome to the group. Name your top three animes.
I don't care much for My Hero Academia but I do respect it tbh. It's a decent series that have to get caught up on.

Is there a specific reason why you don't care for it? I'm just curious.

The characters are rather boring and the plot is laden with boring training arc
I wish we got another gundam series rather than a build fighters/divers series
It looks like Toonami is shorter this week. After the DBZ Kai marathon on Easter weekend, they dropped Sword Art Online: Alicization and now run from Midnight to 3 AM.
