Yeah man, his soundtrack for digimon is awesome, butterfly is one of my favourite anime soundtrack of all time, its give me the nostalgic feeling everytime i heard it, back to that time when i watch digimon as a kid on tv when everytime opening song is played i sing this song together, thats feels great man... Btw his death also shocking anime music in japan, to bad he pass at 42 years old...

Did you boys hear there's a live action Ghost in the Shell that's actually gone into production, with Scarjo in the lead? I mean obviously it'll be terrible but it's interesting that this project is going somewhere, it's one of those adaptation that floated in creative limbo for a long time.

I don't see it that way. It's an american adaptation for a predominantly american audience. It's never something I've found objectionable or offensive. Most american interpretations of foreign IPs turn out ass but that's irrelevant to your issue here, we've already seen the 1995 Ghost in the Shell, there's no point in just making that movie again.
and as much as I love Scarlett Johansson, I'm not happy at all with her for this, and am surprised she went through with it.
I think she's an excellent choice and it's what piqued my interest in the film. I never got the impression Scarjo is overly considerate as far as what roles she would or would not accept, I've mostly seen her in smaller more eccentric productions but it's not like she's a stranger to the hollywood garb.
You know what the ironic thing is? I'm not really a fan of the anime series, but it pisses me off both as an anime fan, and a fan of movies. I don't get why they think ignoring petitions is a good idea, because this is gonna bomb, and they know it.
I'm the same, I've never even the GitS series, I've just read the original manga, seen the first film and its direct sequel (which I liked far more), it's just clear that this wont capture anything that made the original film unique. The best we'll get is a perfectly serviceable thoughtless action movie.

yeah anime also good for some reason, thats why i like anime more than manga. soundtrack cool but i dont really interested for certain genre but i like anime "more" because its more easy i just need to press play button and enjoy the show, also in anime thing happen more quickly so im not going spend to much time in one show... i mean when you read manga im sure there is a point when i get confused because the drawing and the text buble and make me have to read and understand what is going on...

I can enjoy the manga and anime on two different levels. Borh good in different ways.
Manga are generally better than the anime adaptations but there are cases where the anime actually improve from the manga.
When it comes to that, at least give anime series a chance unless the word of mouth is overwhelmingly bad.
Also don't forget there are anime series that wasn't adapted from the manga series, just look up "Kill la Kill" (though it was basically a remake of Cutey Honey but it still applies), and TTGL.

Sometimes, they are different. Reading the manga will not automatically ruin the anime, but it might.
Just finished reading Bitter Virgin, it's a very touching story and whoever thought I would enjoy something about rape that isn't a doujin parody.

Chi Chi was actually one of my first waifus and I'm referring to the bitchy grown up version in DBZ rather than the somewhat nicer loli in skimpy Ultra Seven cosplay in Dragonball. I even felt her corrupted form in the crappy filler episodes with Garlic Jr. was the bright spot of the saga.
Then again, as far as my first anime series I had watched, I hardly remember most of them aside from Shurato, DBZ, and Doreamon. Even then, I didn't really like Shurato because honestly, as a kid do you want to watch a scene where some guy gets electrocuted to a crisp like what Jack Nicholson's Joker did in the 1989 Batman film?
The ending theme for Shurato was pretty epic though, too bad the series was kind of obscured being that it's a Saint Seiya rip off.

well i just start watch anime called panzer und girls, its about tank and a girl, i know it when there is an event going on a game i played. for first i dont know its an anime i dont even know if girl drive a tank is real. so i do little bit search and i find out its an anime so yeah i watch it, just right now 2 episode. yeah its a girls and a tank, if you like tank like i do you should watch it. girls and a tank boom recipe of destruction, i still dont really get the background story yet but so far i enjoy it. i just like the idea let a cute girl drive a tank and see what happen. hope its doesnt turn bad in the middle...

its fun to watch the battle scene is awesome and i enjoy the humour in this anime, btw the battle scene is kind of realistic but its not. im still enjoy it the girls is just cute overload i might kill my self...
