So basically, a weeaboo is a person who claims to be japanese or act like it just because they like anime. you'd often hear them saying basic japanese phrases they heard from anime such as "Kono baka" "Watashi wa [Name] Desu" and so on.
They'd also cut off all ties with their own culture for the japanese culture and they claim to know a lot about japan just because of anime, they also think that Japan is perfect (Even though it has some many issues like any other country)
Edit : Also, it's okay to like Japan and it's culture but just remember that you have your own culture and you'll be fine.

She cares more about K-pop, weird Japanese candies, and manga than anything at all American. she looks forward to Tekko-Con all year and spends a ton on cosplay outfits, mostly Naruto or Bleach. And to here her gush over Gaara's voice is embarrassing. Buuuutttt..... I still like her. Even if she makes the stuff she like that much more unappealing to me.
I'm not saying liking any of these things is a bad thing, but there's a tipping point where a person takes it too far. And personally, anything that gets too hyped loses my attention. I was a DBZ fan. Was. Right about the Buu saga I got fed up with DBZ fans. Never even gave GT a chance. Never once bothered with the aforementioned Naruto or Bleach just because the hype train imploding on the news they were coming to America. Fandoms just ruin it for me. I liked stuff like Full Metal Alchemist, even before brotherhood made it more bad ass. Psycho-Pass, Knights of Sardonia, Samurai Champloo, Read or Die, Hellsing, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Sekirei, and non of these things despite being known are blown up too far. Hell, even FLCL (fooly cooly) has a good sized fan base without being super hyped up.

I agree with it not being anime. But I do gotta say, it's almost splitting hairs though. It draws a lot from classic anime style and content. The only reason it's "anime" and not anime is because it wasn't made in the right part of the world. I did enjoy it a lot though.

All of the characters are fags who look exactly the same, the art style hardly comes close to looking like an anime art style, everything they do is literally "It's over 9000" "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" "KAMEHAMEHA" and all that other shit, all of the fight scenes are basically crap where one fist turns into 3 fists because of how fast they are at punching, WOW Goku is god isn't he? and this cartoon keeps repeating itself over and over, with the same bullshit all the time and it has by far one of the worst fanbases of all time, and the character design looks like sandy pants mixed with hobo clothes, it was just serious bullshit, fuck DBZ.
Sounds like something you threw in just to justify your hate but the fact is you were pissed at the fan base enough that it your sole basis for the less than rational hate. Plus, describing the characters as fags isn't going to make things better for you either.

I get opinions and all, but I honestly couldn't wrap my brain around anyone trying to compare Dragon Ball Z to My Little Pony aside from maybe the hardcore fanboys, but even then they're the minority of the fanbase of those shows that you are overreacting to. I said it before, and I'll say it again, if you don't like X show, then don't watch it and don't let the fans of X show get to you. Anime is not the enemy, there is more than enough in the archives for all of us, with more coming down the pipeline every year. It would also help to explain your reasoning rather than using silly epithets or putting a broad brush on a fanbase, even in the general forums, you won't be able to get away with that, usually anyways.
It's no different if I were to say the same thing about FLCL and didn't provide any good reason why I hated it {and a few times I have done just that} If nothing else, a bit of context and reasoning helps greatly.
