I just finished watching Oreimo on Crunchyroll. There were some great parts, such as a lot of episode 11 of season 1, but the anime as a whole is overrated. Apparently there's some OVAs that aren't on Crunchyroll, but whatever. I'm going to start watching the Persona 4 anime. Hopefully it's something that can be enjoyed without playing the game beforehand.

Also, fuck Adblock Plus not working on Hulu.

Try Adblock Edge, same thing but without ads on certain cites cause the devs on ABP takes money from certain cites to white-list.

I'm also using that, but it doesn't matter. Apparently they only block ads coming from a different server and the ads on Hulu are coming from the same server. I don't know.

Just wondering, when it comes to the release date of manga chapters, which do you prefer?

A weekly release where a chapter consists on 10 to 20 pages or a monthly release where a chapter is at least 40 pages long?

Regardless, would you still use it?

Better than going to hell so, why not?

The real downside that when it comes to power, it's really easy to get drunk in it.

When it comes to a magical notebook that kills people, you know how easy it is to get corrupted. I do believe Light had a good intention at first but then it didn't take long for him to go downhill, even before he killed Ray Pember.

At least it wasn't the Royal Death Note or the Everything Note from that hilariously terrible fanfiction where the girl Light happens to be dating when the bus nearly got hijacked turns out to be his mother due to the time travel plot device that doesn't make sense.

Episode 1 of Kill La Kill on Toonami this Saturday. Been meaning to watch that show, so that's cool. I don't see episode 2 listed for next week, though.

I just finished watching the series yesterday.

Can't you just watch it online like I did?

It's in Crunchyroll, that's where I was able to watch the whole series as well as a classic live action show about a space titan fighting monsters called "Ultraman Leo".

Leo seem to lose a lot in the first quarter of the series though.

Yes, but I'm almost never online on a computer and would normally be watching it on my phone. I do watch stuff on my phone sometimes but not a whole tv show.

When it comes to both versions of Full Metal Alchemist, which version of King Bradley do you think would when pitted against each other?

The 2003 version or the canonical version from Brotherhood?

The 2003 Bradley may have a regenerative ability but his performance seems lackluster compared to his Brotherhood and manga counterpart.

Then again it would be argued that Pride have gotten complacent due to his ability to regenerate while Wrath had no such luxury and would go all out.

Still, Wrath took out a tank.

I thought it was okay. Decent premise, loved the art style, but god is the humor awful and Black Star is just an unbearable character. Jr. should have been killed off during one of his mid-combat meltdowns over symmetry.

As I understand it Soul Eater's situation is a lot like FMA's in that the anime progressed faster than the manga source material so it had a different ending and a lot of other different plot things. If you want more of Soul Eater and haven't read the manga yet you should do that I guess.

There's also the show Soul Eater Not!! which is some kind of spin off or sequel I don't really know I haven't bothered with it.

Do you know of anywhere I can watch Soul Eater? I have Hulu Plus as well as Netflix, and I'd love to check it out sometime!

There's a bunch of streaming sites for anime, some of them pretty mobile friendly, too. I don't want to get in trouble for naming specific sites, but I'm sure Google will lead you there. I think anime is the easiest stuff to watch for free.

I read this chapter just yesterday.

Have to say, I was pretty shocked by her new look, but at the same time, I dig it.

Which reinforces the possibility that Happy is a nudist.

I like them a lot compared to story driven anime because the story always feels really contrived.

Try Teekyuu, it's that kind of series made with drugs and all crammed in.

They're OK when they don't use the exact same tropes and plot devices of literally every show in the genre

"We have to choose a theme for the spring festival!"

NO WE DON'T

LET'S DO SOMETHING ELSE FOR ONCE

Also it's hard to invest in a plot where nothing is at stake and nothing really matters
