They should do an anime of that instead. It would be an instant AOTY.

Nope. Perhaps we can marathon the same show at once and discuss it (streaming?).
Still on a little 'anime hiatus' so I haven't watched a full series in a while. I've been reading Neil Gaiman's Sandman comic, though, which is amazing and y'all should read it.
A thought came across to me earlier while reading it, though, about manga publication. I'm familar with Western publication ofc, but I'm ignorant as fuck when it comes to Japan. Is each chapter serialized in a magasine or as an individual issue? Obviously, tankobon are the tpbs/collections so they come after a set of chapters is made.
Spoke with T-Fulp.
He's very impressed with our achievement and is pondering a site-wide anime day.

I never hear of kids talking about pokemon now, at least not near as much as when I was younger. Makes me wonder how the show keeps going.
What are some good short anime? They have to be less than 50 episodes long.

Madoka Magica (12)
Evangelion (27 + a movie that gives an alternate ending)
Milky Holmes (28)
Gurren Lagann (26)
FLCL (6)
Steins; Gate (26)
Lucky Star (24 I think)
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (25 + a movie)
Persona 4 The Animation (26)
There are oodles and oodles

That's the only anime in the list I have heard of. I have seen the first 6 episodes of it.

Moe is the best thing to happen to anime since Astro boy popularized mechas, Gundam experimented with it, Evangelion defined it and Gurren Lagann made it fun again

I really aught to finish watching Gundamu, I got like half way through and dropped it.

Jojo is great imo
I'm still watching Maoyuu but the moeshit is really unbearable. I watched the first episode of Psycho Pass and was a little on the fence about it but I might pick it back up. I liked Hitman Reborn and Pass has the same artist which is cool. I was watching Sasami too but I dropped that like a ton of bricks.
Not much to watch this season imo. Spring might be better with Shingeki coming out.

To the Japanese audience maybe, but to the rest of us, most people think of it negatively.
since Astro boy popularized mechas,
If you want to get technical, Tetsujin 28 is more mecha than Astro Boy. Astro Boy isn't exactly a mecha anime series.
Gundam experimented with it, Evangelion defined it and Gurren Lagann made it fun again
I would say that Gundam defined it and Evangelion experimented with it, {considering their deconstruction of the super robot genre} and I would be remiss if I didn't mention Mazinger Z was an inspiration for many mecha anime, {and it's numerous spinoffs} and Code Geass for its mass appeal.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

Gahh your right!. How could I forget about Mazinger Z. According to my mother (who saw it dubbed in Spanish in like the 70's) its appeal affected a lot of stuff from that genre onward, like the idea of people in a cockpit
holy shit, just been watching space bros up to ep 43 or so. Fuck me, so intense! Never thought I'd be put in a position where I was genuinely unsure as to a main character's continued existance quite like that before. It's a light hearted hard sci fi slice of life, not some super intense broody action flic or whatever.
Wow.
pretty sweet

One episode. I want to see more but I don't know where to find it. My friend bought the whole thing on the PS store. Can't help but think he got ripped off, each episode is $1.

Did you see it subbed or dubbed? After I saw the 1st episode and the ghost (who was the same voice as Harima from School Rumble) said "YOU CAN'T HANDLE WHAT I'M PACKIN' GET IT!? IT MEANS I HAVE A BIG DICK. AW BITCH RIDE ME I BET YOU LIKE IT RAW" I could never imagine watching it subbed

Unfortunately it was only available subbed. I would much rather watch it dubbed. Oh well. Where did you watch it?

Animeultima has most of the episodes dubbed
