Durarara sucked and I watched quite a few episodes, expecting it to be good. The characters were quirky in an annoying way as opposed to Baccano where the characters were quirky in a cool way.

I saw the first episode of panty and stocking a while back but have no idea where to get the rest of them. I saw the first one on youtube, split into two parts. The other episodes seem to be scattered so im not going to bother with Youtube. I tried crunchy roll, it has a page but no videos, or the videos won't show up in the catalog. Hm.

I'm just a dreamer.

So I'm on ep, 41 of LoGH, and this show is getting real intense now with the Ragnarok campaign. I'm not sure where this battle is headed, but I can't wait to find out.

Reading through Hoshizora no Memoria right now as well, and my verdict on the routes I've finished is:
Komomo > Isuzu > Asuho

Mare is the cutest loli/grim reaper/character ever, by the way.

I need something cleared up
Im re-watching Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya again, and ive gotten up to the point of the 8th episode. However, since my normal site for watching anime is down, ive had to revert over to youtube. However, when searching for episodes, ive gotten 2 different episodes that are labeled as number 8, and not being a total expert on this anime, got confused as to which one was the real one(its not a problem of which one looked legit, its a problem of which one i should watch first). So could one of you experts who knows this anime inside and out give me a synopsis of episode 8 so i know which one to watch?

The problem is there are several different orders of the series. The original broadcast series had a non-chronological broadcast order. The DVD has a chronological order but with a single episode out of place (the adventures of mikuru asahina).

So depending on the order you're watching, it might be the baseball episode (DVD order), the one where the make a website then have to find the computer club president (chronological), or the second episode of the remote island arc (broadcast order).

THEN, if you're watching the second season, which aired including the first season, and runs on chronological order, episode 8 kyon + mikuru travel back in time on tanabata. This is a single non-arc episode that slots between the baseball ep and the computer president ep chronologically (and by that note, in the second season broadcast order as well).

My advice is to find a single source (whether it's a website, a youtube user, or a torrent) (ps use a torrent), and then use that solely. Run through the first few eps to make sure you've seen them until you get to ep 8.

phew

Just stumbled across a trippy as hell gem on Netflix called Dead Leaves. if you loved Furi Curi and all that batshit insane animation you'll love this one

Now that I've finished Hoshimemo, my route preference:
Komomo > Isuzu > Kosame > ??? > Mare > Asuho > Chinami

???'s route was tedious as hell and I considered dropping it because I felt that it dragged on a bit too much. The epilogue redeemed it completely, so it belongs in the middle. Smooth sailing for the rest of the routes, though.

Is the new JJBA anime going to adapt all the story arcs, because that shit is long due. The game doesn't look that interesting since I'm not a fan of versus fighters, should have been an action adventure game, but whatever, it might turn out to be good anyway. Speaking of games I ordered One Piece - Kaizoku Musou from Japan last week, the western release isn't until Christmas.

From what I've heard, it'll cover all of the parts.

I'm excited for part 4 the most -- it's easily my favorite arc -- and animated Kira/Killer Queen will be fucking awesome. I'm betting either Sunrise/Madhouse will be the studio in charge of animating it. Man, I JUST CAN'T FUCKING HOLD MY GODDAMN EXCITEMENT, THIS SHIT IS GOING TO FUCKING ROCK

In other news, I'm starting the Battle of Vermillion on LoGH. This show is going to reach its fucking climax with this arc, no matter what the result. Yang won't survive, will he? Reinhard's going to win and going to seize the universe (I'm okay with that, but I don't want to see Yang die). At least Julian will survive the battle right? ;_______;

Read the synopsis on Wikipedia, and I'm interested in it. PICKED UP AND MOVED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BACKLOG.

I checked Baka-Tsuki's page for the novels and they've translated the main series. Fuck, I remember when there was only two of them translated a year or so ago.

I love that movie. Have you seen Trava? It's not that good, but it's interesting, and lets you get to know two of the more minor characters that were in Redline.

The story and such?
Try the manga, you might enjoy that more than the anime itself.
