So after years of putting it off... I watched the Tales of Symphonia series. I've had the Gamecube game and it is easily in my top 3 favorite games of all time. Now.. the anime is... Alrite. Not fantastic. The best part about it is the music. The rest is just... meh...

I think that music alone is essential in anime. I think that something as small as background music can define how good an anime really is. I wouldn't have liked K-On! and Angel Beats! that much if they didn't have fantastic music.

I agree with that entirely. Good music is a major factor to determine the quality of an anime. And those two examples are fucking perfect. Well.... Except that i liked Angel Beats regardless of the music.

Gonna beat my first Castlevania game soon (Aria of Sorrow). Never finished any of the other gamesfor some reason, but I'm excited. The three-headed boss was kind of a bitch until I pretty much memorized its pattern/movements and then I just throw swords/hit him with my katana. Haha, I almost died while hammering him with my battle axe.
