Finished Kaiba, ended up marathoning it pretty much. Unsure about it. I enjoyed it, no doubt about that, but wasn't such a fan of the second half of it really.
[WARNING: MAJOR PLOT SPOILERS]
While the plot was neat, I didn't really get the relevance of Kaiba [the plant], where did it come from? Is it related to humans manipulating memories? Cheki appeared to regain her character at the end... how/why? Wha gwan? Wha gwan? What's the other warp doing? It says it shares his memories but I thought (as evidenced by neiro and hyo-hyo) that it would have different memories simply due to the fact it's different? How come kaiba, if he has the entire world's memories, didn't have his mothers?
I think they let off the plot too much in the first eps though, which led to the final four or five episodes being very heavy on plot, very reliant on flashbacks, and a bit too poorly paced for me/
[END MAJOR PLOT SPOILERS]
Still, I enjoyed it enough, and the third episode (with chroniko) was very touching, I thought. I'm glad that nearly all the characters were reasonably fleshed out, vanilla had a couple of very touching moments at the end... also absolutely adored the art. yeah
7/10. I think.
Also in case you guys missed it, puella magi madoka magica is airing (both eps 11 and 12) on the 21st april. One day after my dissertation deadline thank god!
