breathe deep mah boi, breathe deep.
this is why i sprinkle myself in-between these pages every once and again. i think you're getting too rash and should try and persuade others into series that they might like based on what they like. force not being the key in this factor but weening so to speak.
or is this hostility of yours forgotten what you once were and how you used to be? you and i, we are not so different in our growth patterns. how we acted years back and what we've grown into today is quite similar, no?

In other news, I'm still watching Astro Boy, and it's way more emotionally involving than I expected it to be.
are you watching the old black and white or the newer 2000ish one? i've seen most of the old 50's version but not much of the newer one.

The Legendary Gambler Tetsuya is an excellent 20 episode series about the skill of gamblers, their tricks and some luck to the game of mahjong. If you've seen Akagi and are familiar with how that series goes don't expect the same from Tetsuya. Like I said, it's based on gambler skill and tricks with very little luck. Basically, how mahjong is PLAYED rather than all luck. Granted, you really can't compare the two since they are vastly different but they are similar at the same time.
It's also has an awesome score to go with it as well(good luck finding it in MP3 anywhere, i've been trying for months)that really fits the show and gets you pumped for the next move the characters are going to make. Great animation style IMO. The 90's and EARLY 2000's hold the best next to the 80's animation.
So yeah, if you like animes about games, mahjong or you're a fan of Akagi why not give it a taste? The link shows part 1 of 3 of the first episode. There are more episodes on youtube but it's not complete. You'll have to find 'other' methods to obtaining it.
Also, if mahjong is your thing then give The Legend of Koizumi a go. It's more of a short than a series, each episode being around 8 minutes or so. Pretty action packed and a good bit of humor mixed in there as well. You'll also get to see japans take on G.W. Bush jr in the first episode too.
Koizumi is basically about japans greatest(the peoples opinion)prime minister playing mahjong against the likes of communist north korea and the peoples republic of china. it's pretty damn good if i say so myself.
TL;DR GO WATCH SOME MAHJONG ANIME
