Observations of the show Bleach (up to episode 150):
- Ichigo needs to learn to use his sword correctly. Seriously, when is he going to learn that the bandages and chain can be used as a whip-like ranged attack. It's annoying...
Unlike Kratos, Ichigo can't use the chains to attack enimies from afar, rather he the kind of Soul Reaper who prefers to go head on with his sword, and often times, when he gets cut up, he loses enough blood to fill up Lake Erie. {Slight Exaggeration}
- Ichigo also needs to learn to use his controlled zanpakuto. The 2nd state is pretty awesome, but it loses it's touch when ALWAYS used in the 2nd state.
At this time, he is trying to fully control the power without becoming a hollow. The battles before the espada proves this point.
- When did everyone decide to go crazy with Bankai? Isn't Bankai an extreme measure of spiritual pressure? Renji, Hitsugaya, and Ichigo all decide "Hey, I'm a master at unleashing Bankai, let's use it all the time, amirite?"
Much like the Super Saiyan transformation in DBZ, once you seen it the first time, almost everyone else can pull this off, even though some of them really shouldn't.
- Rukia seems to have power shifts. The very beginning she's what? An advanced footsoldier I think? Now she is supposed to be a ranked officer with footsoldier missions, yet sometimes she'll get her ass handed to her and others (i.e. her fight with Espada #9) she'll be awesomely badass.
The random power shifts tend to get annoying, of course Rukia is only a footsoldier with more skills than most others in her position, but she's not even in the ballpark compared to Kenpachi's power.
- Orihime needs to learn to use a real weapon. When she is (Censored) she better train with Rukia to learn advanced hand-to-hand or a sword or something. Hell, Uryu used the Quincy "Sword" as soon as he had it. He may have trained with it a LITTLE while staying at the Urahara shop, but damn.
Orihime is the white mage of the series, she is only for healing purposes and the occasional damsel in distress, I don't know what everyone else sees in here to be honest.
- Bleach is similar to a Shakespear play in that there's always a light moment in between or right after a dramatic moment, excluding very important events. It can be funny, and sometimes it can be annoying.
They would probably do this to prevent the series from turning all doom and gloom with saving souls and gutting hollows before they get to turn people into their lunch.
- Major fights with Ichigo and his opponent are always a tease. TWICE now, he's encounterd Grimmjow and still they haven't completely fought. It's so damn annoying...
I agree tenfold, the fights always seem like a tease, either that or they end up anti-climatic and predictable.
- The relationship tension is a pain in the ass... I know it's Shonen, but god damn. Let's get a love interest involved. It's been teased so many times... It's impossible if both Orihime and Rukia "love" him, (Rukia has never completely shown loving affection, besides her execution brawl, up to this point)
If I were in Ichigo's shoes, I would probably consider passing up any love interest with either Rukia or Orihime, Seriously. Orihime is a dumb bimbo who seems to get caught up in all the wrong places and at the wrong time, which isn't a surprise considering her brain is the size of a peeble, and her tits are about the size of boulders. Rukia is a passive aggressive bitch that is as flat as a pancake, and about as mean as a snake in the grass.
